"Nice to meet you, Rab." Merei said in reply to the boy, trying to act as polite as possible dispite the currant situations. However, when she glanced back at him a frown quickly covered her lips. "He's in real bad shape." She commented, noticing the blood pouring out from him. "Almost there..." She then added as they reached the floor where people no other than herself usually did not enter. Ah well, there was a first for everything right?
Pulling out the key and opening the door, Merei walked inside, keeping the door open so that Rab could enter with Will. She led him into her bedroom, frowning as she looked at her perfect satin sheets that were soon to be ruined in a bloody mess. Stop thinking of yourself, Merei. She thought, knowing that she was indeed a rather vain person consumed with materials. What? The girl had money. Was it a sin to indulge herself?
"Put him on the bed." She ordered Rab. "I'll go get water and cloth to clean him up." and then use some spells...

Rab came through the door and closed it with his foot. He hesitated a moment before placing his friend on the bed. "Sorry 'bout the sheets..." he said, and started to rip back Will's clothing to reveal the wound. "Nice place ye 'ave here, shame its inhabited by navy curs." he said.

"Not for long." Merei yelled out in reply to the boy's statement about the navy as she hurried into her personal kitchen, rumaging through her things. "Pirates will by inhabitating here soon I pressume." She pointed out, quickly gathering various cloths that she heated with warm water, which she also put into a pot. Still in a hurry, she grabbed both the pot and the cloths and rushed back into the room where she set everything down next to her bedstand.
"Will, was it?" She said, now speaking directly to him. "You have to wake up..." She added, her words in a slight mutter as she twisted the cloth over the pot, letting most of the water drip from it, before placing the cloth over his wounds.

William moaned, and then opened his eyes. Before him, he saw Merie and Rab, both staring down on him. Where was he? And who was the girl with him and Rab? "Wh- Wh-?" William choked, but he could not speak. In fact, he could hardly breath. The pain in his belly made blood drip out of his mouth. Was he going to die?

"I didn't tell you to talk." Merei scoulded as the boy opened his eyes and stared up at her, looking beyond utterly confused. Sure the boy was in pain, but she couldn't help but let her usual attitude slipped through. People listening to her was something she needed to happen, and she boy had already disobeyed her. Well then again, he was practically dying forgiveness was in order... "Just be quiet." She told the boy, continuing to soak up the blood with the cloths that seemed to be running out due to the bloody mess.
"Ah, I should get some pain medication." She then said, such a thing having slipped her mind. However, she quickly rushed out of the room once more and into the kitchen where she fumbled through her medicine cabinet til she found her useful storage of medicines that she most likely shouldn't have had. What? Money did buy lots of things, including illegal ones. She was saving a life wasn't she? It was okay.
Getting a glass of water, Merei hurried back into her room, looking down towards Will with a frown on her lips. "Can you swallow?" She asked, knowing the answer to that would be a no. How was she supposed to get him to take the pills. "O-Or do you care if I use spells on you?" She had to ask, some people thought of magic as a horrible horrible thing. Last thing she wished was for the boy to believe that a witch doctor was his only chance of survival.
[boo you. Ah well, it's just medical stuff right now so you won't be missing anything really.]

William opened his mouth slowly, in order for him to swallow. He didn't trust spells. In his opinion, he believed that it was magic that killed his family. The dark magic of the damn navy.

Merei sighed. Of course the boy couldn't have made things easier for her, he just had to want her to do things the common way. Gosh. However, she did nod in reply to his actions, moving closer to him and placing the pills that were in his hands into his mouth, only to place the cup of water to his lips moments afterwards.

Rab watched her and Will. He was feeling so helpless, he had never learned any medical skills in his time and was suffering from it now. Then he heard it, Magic? he thought, She knows magic? Well if its for the best... Rab was going to say to let her use her magic, but Will had already opened his mouth, and was receiving the medication. "Can I do anything to help?" he asked, worriedly.

Merei glanced back at Rab, while she still held the cup of water to Will's lips. A frown crossed her features as she tried to think of something for the boy to do. However, she immediantly failed. She herself didn't have that much training in medicine, in fact her magical abilities were far stronger, but unfortunately the boy wasn't going to let her use such a thing.
"Know anything about removing bullets?"

"Er, do ye just yank it out wit' tweezers?" he asked, rubbing the side of his head. It couldn't be that hard could it? he thought, Why couldn't Will just let her use magic...

"I guess..." Merei said, still a bit unsure herself. Oh how she hated normal everyday tools. There was always the risk of infection or anything of that sort. Then again, no matter what was used there was always a risk. Spells were far from always being safe, which was part of the reason they had become so hated over time. "Dammit." She cursed, looking down towards Will. "He's still bleeding like crazy."

"H'okay, lemme try to get tha' thing outta there." he said with a sigh and walked to the bathroom. After looking in a few drawers he found a pair of tweezers. He cranked on the sink and waited for the water to get really hot. He then tried his best to sterilize the instrument. He washed his hands, then walked back into the bed room. He crouched down to the same level as Will, and went to work. He carefully inserted the tool into the hole in his flesh. "Well, here goes..." he said, sweat pouring down his face.

"A- A- Ow. . . . " William mumbled, as he felt the pointed tweezers touch his bleeding flesh in order to get the bullet. An immense pain was drought over William like a wave hitting a dry rock. And all he felt was a burn. A burn hotter than the hottest day of summer. "H- Hurry!" He breathed, as a few tears streamed down his cheeks. Why was this so painful. Just hurry up and get the bullet, or bullets, out already!

Rab's tweezers found their mark, the slug that had entered Will's stomach. He gripped the bullet and tugged it out of the wound, and dropped it onto the nightstand next to him. "Its out!" he said in surprise. He then backed up and said, "What now?" They would have to clean and sew up the wound, but he had no idea of how to do that.
