Kainda nodded with her suggestions, they all sounded like they made sense of course she didn't entirely know what she meant by serge the seams but she asured Natalie did and that was enough for her. She sat down close, looking over the sketches, pointing out ones that didn't seem like Adair would like them, but pointing to knows she was pretty sure he'd like.
"Maybe shorts too? I mean summer is a little ways away but it never hurts to be prepared right?" she asked, smiling at her a bit, then glanced to Adair to make sure he was okay. Never knew when he'd get into trouble.
Adair watched her as she gave the silent giggle and grinned. She sure was cute. He looked over the toys. The dolls were rejected as girly, videos as too boring and so that left the puzzle and candy land. Adair wasn't one to be all the into puzzles. He didn't dislike them he just wasn't all that fond of them ether.
So he carefully grabbed the board game. "Do you like this game?" Adair asked, all questions going though his mind to make sure they're yes or no so it's easy for her to answer. "Would you like to play?"

"Of course," Natalie said, laughing a little. "I entirely forgot! It's a good thing you're here to remind me to be functional. I do a lot of costume work." She smiled, sheepishly.
Ophiera looked at the boardgame, then nodded. Yes, she liked that game! But when she played that game...
She held up one finger, then got up and ran back into a little room... filled with all sorts of colorful fabrics. She looked around a little, then found what she had been looking for- a... costume? In fact, it was a Princess Lolly costume, though edited to fit a child. She put it on over top of her normal dress (not zipping it up because she couldn't reach), then came back out, putting the crown on her head.
Hopping back over to the game, she pointed to the girl on the board.

Adair watched confused until she pointed to the game character, and then the mighty gryphon child laughed. "You look very pretty." he encouraged her with a grin, smiling happily. He didn't ask if she had a male costume. Even if she did he learned that normal clothes didn't fit him. Which is why he was here. AFter all now he'd get new clothes and a new friend. Sounded like a good day to him.
Kainda smiled when she reminded Natalie of something. She was glad she was being of use too. She wanted to be of some use. Since Adair was busy charming yet another female. He seemed to have a good touch with girls. Everyone he ran into got that flirty smile (that was weird to see on a child) and stellar treatment. He was going to be quite the little heart breaker when he got older.

Ophiera positively glowed at the praise. Then she very carefully - like a good hostess! - made sure that the cards were shuffled (though that ended up being... messy) and put somewhere close to where they should be. The cards had ended up in a messy pile, but it would work. She picked out her little person, then gestured for Adair to pick his.
"So... shorts, longer pants, and short sleeve and long sleeve shirts, right? Do you just want casual play clothing, or any formal things...?" Natalie was sketching like a madwoman, turning out quick loose idea after quick loose idea.

Adair smiled as he carefully reached in to grab his guy, picking the red one, his claws scrapping against the piece's face before he set it down. He smiled a bit sheepishly, as things tended to get destoryed after he touched them. He didn't know it yet but school would be a b***h to deal with. He'd only be able to write in pen, pencils broke in his hand. Needless to say Adair wasn't the quiet type so right now it didn't bug him. He liked running and playing and being outside.
"Okay, so now what do we do?" Adair asked, interested.
"Oh, no, no formal wear is needed. I don't own any formal wear. Play clothes, and Adair likes to play outside so darker colors that are easy to clean and hide dirt and stuff." Kainda offered for ideas, glad to see she was really into it. Kainda couldn't aford to go else where.

Ophiera pointed to the card pile. She took the one on top, showing him the color. Then she picked up her little person, moved it to the next spot of that color, and set down the card, smiling triumphantly. Then she motioned for Adair to pick a card.
It was a simple game, but Ophiera liked it that way. Plus it was colorful - color resonated with her. And with her limited reading and writing skills - she was still fighting learning a little - it suited her.
"Okay, so no formal, and dark." Natalie sketched out a couple of things, then turned the sketch pad a bit so Kainda could see.
"So, I'm thinking a pair or two of shorts, and a pair or two of long pants, each cuffed well above his foot-claws. They'll have a divet in the back low enough to allow his tail but will have a strap that fastens above it, to keep them on. As for shirts, they'll sort of be like elaborate bibs or vests. From the front they'll look normal, but from the back, they'll have a strap that goes above the wing and some fabric beneath the wings. If you want, I can also put a strap that goes between the top and bottom of the back, between the wings."

Adair nodded and picked up a card himself. He held it as carefully as he could, trying not to ruin Ophiera's game but his claws scratched and scraped no matter how softly he held things. He hadn't learned true control yet and as he set the card down, his finger ripped though it. He winced and glanced at Ophiera sheepishly. He hated to break things, he loved the way things looked all shiny and new. There had to be a way to keep his claws from ruining everything....
"Oh that sounds perfect!" Kaindra agreed, looking over the desgins. What she explained sounded perfect. "Uh, and you just do whatever you think will work best for him. You understand clothes better than I do." The kitsune agreed with a nodd.

Ophiera looked at the card for a moment, then smiled, holding up a finger, signaling for the boy to wait. She clambered to her feet and toddled off, quickly, back to the room she'd gotten her costume from. She came back quickly, holding long strips of scrap fabric. She sat down in front of him, and held out her hand for his. She'd wrap his claws!
Natalie smiled. "I'm glad you like the idea - I'll make sure to make them able to stand up to just about anything. When do you think you can bring over that scrap fabric you mentioned? That way, I can assess materials and give you a better idea of price. I promise it won't be much more than what buying the shirts and pants in a store would cost."

Adair blinked once and then smiled brightly as he held out his hands, glad that the nice girl wasn't mad about his mistakes. He really didn't know what to do about it, and kainda hadn't given it much thought. She didn't hae a lot of things that she really needed to be worried about breaking so she just shrugged it off.
For the gryphon though, it could get annoying. he wished there was a way for him to just not have to deal with it. Not that he disliked his claws persay, after all he did enjoy them, just...it would be nice to have hands like everyone else too.
"Well actually, if you wanted to watch Adair for about ten minutes I could go get it now." Kainda offered easily.

Ophiera took his hand and began wrapping each claw, frustrated a little when the fabric caught and tore. But she kept working at it, and soon she'd managed to cover the claws enough so that they were padded. She sat back triumphantly, pointing happily to Adair's little person, whom he hadn't moved.
"Oh, sure! That would work wonderfully." Natalie smiled. "Yet another benefit of living close to everybody else, hm?"

Adair grinned brightly. "Thanks Orphiera!" he said brightly, then leaned over and kissed her cheek softly. The action was almost brother like and felt very natural. Adair smiled as he went back to his piece and moved it forward carefully, overjoyed when the padding worked perfectly. He could still grab but didn't tear!
Kainda smiled brightly, "I very much agree." she laughed a bit and got up. "So I'll just get going. Adair? I'm gonna step out a bit, okay?" she asked, turning to see Adair playing candly.
"Kay Kainda." he said, not even looking over as he sat back, waiting for Orph to make her move.

Ophiera soundlessly giggled joyfully, dancing in her seat. She watched as he moved his little person, then picked her own card. She held it close, looking at it furtively, then moved her piece forward - a full color sequence ahead. She'd gotten the same color! She loved when that happened.
When Kainda got up, Ophiera turned around, dropping her card, and waved.
Natalie stood as well, walking with Kainda to the door. "I'll look through what I have already while you're gone."

Adair smiled as Orphiera went forward. He reached over and grabed his card. He grined as he got the same color as her and moved forward to join her on that spot. He grinned over at her with that charming flirty smile the small boy had.
"Geuss that I just can't stay away." he flirted lightly with her, grinning warmly.
Kainda watched for a moment, then smiled. He'd be a heart breaker. She turned back to Natalie and nodded in agreement, heading to the door.
"Great. I'll be back in just a few." she promised, opening the door and walking out. She started a light job home, wanting to get all the money settled today.

Ophiera bounced a little in her seat at the flirtacious comment, amused and flattered. Still, she took another card, moving ahead another few spaces, smiling triumphantly again.
Natalie, after watching Kainda leave for a moment, closed the door (but didn't lock it) and came over to the two toddlers. "Hey, you two - I'll be in the sewing room-" she pointed to the room where Ophiera kept getting all her clothing stuff from- "if you need me, okay? Either come get me, have Adair call, or push your button, okay, Ophiera?"
Beneath Ophiera's hastily put on dress was a little belt with a plastic box on it. The box had a button that, when pushed, would sound a small alarm from the speaker Natalie kept on her.
Natalie disappeared into the sewing room, going through her fabrics.
The game continued on, meanwhile, with Ophiera initially taking the lead then, after a few pitfalls, lagging terribly behind. She watched the board with a contemplative frown.

Adair had quite a flirt inside him, and enjoyed it. There's something fun about saying nice little comments and getting the girl to smile at him in that special way. He didn't see it as a promise or anything, just something fun to do. Not that he really knew what flirting ment, just enjoyed doing it.
He glanced at Natalie and nodded a bit, before grinning up at her. "Don't worry, I'll protect Ophiera!" he promised the woman, spreading his wings wide to look even bigger. He could be a nice big guy if that's what was needed to protect the young girl.
As the woman left he put his attention back to the game. As he lost he pouted a bit though, not very fond of this 'loosing' possiblity. When he started to win though the grin spread. He liked winning.
But Ophiera didn't like loosing ether. This tugged Adair in two directions. For his friend he wanted her happy but...he would not, refused too, loose. So he took another card and moved forward, and smiled over at the silent girl again.
"That sure is a pretty dress."
