"It's not that I like challenging your words. It's that I know personally that the world is not always the way one sees it." She took a step towards him then stopped as she lost sight of him in the shadows. She took a breath and curled her tail around her front paws. "You've gone through alot which is why I don't blame you for having your veiws, but there is goodness in some families." She swallowed the lump that formed in her throat and looked down at her paws, though she could see them except for they're slight outline, she just needed to look at somewhere other than in his direction.

Not knowing why, his vision froze solely on her as her attention turned to her paws and her tail began to curl around them. She did understand which he didn't snap at, but even after so many incidents and arguments this was the way his personality had formed, simply he hadn't been able to find it in him to care about anything anymore... Only maybe some rare brief moments which were rather startling. His paws pondered on there movements as he slipped through the wavering shadows until he was back to the side of her, merely whispering in isolated breathe. " I know that... Somehow you seem afraid... Afraid of the unknown maybe...?"

Oracle shook her head slightly as she lifted her head and turned to face him and even though she couldn't see his eyes she was looking straight into them. "I'm not afraid, It's more looking back into a past i wish i could forget. Like you, my parents left me alone. Though not because they wanted too." She moved to stand and stretched her wings out a bit trying to rid the thoughts from her mind.

Kenji nodded as he felt prepared to listen to what she had to say. He didn't ignore her opinions, just didn't like to drag on sometimes as he thought of it like a pest. He walked out from the shadows and sat so she would of been able to actually see him, curling his tail around himself then gazing down into her pearly white orbs. " Care to explain...?" He asked, scanning along her wings until her eyes; He could of guessed she probably wanted to shift from the topic, but this time it was his turn to learn something about her.

Oracle Raised her eyebrow at his question. why does he care to know? Letting her brow fall in place she shook her head 'no' but something about the way he asked said he wouldn't take no for an answer so she closed her eyes and let the memorize of the past wash over her. It was a couple moments before she opened them again and her eyes held a glazed look to them as if she was holding back tears. But she wouldn't cry, not here, not in front of him. "It was just they're time to go I guess. They loved me and eachother very much, but and illness took them from me when I was young."

Ke stared on seeing her sorrow within her voice as he gave a small nod, looking towards the cloudless sky for only a few seconds. " Then... You needn't worry... You were loved, and their always gonna be with you... Spiritual that is...." he placed his attention back on her from the sky, slowly standing and turning in the opposite direction, clouded with thought. "c'mon Oracle... Lets take a walk." he asked, knowing if he wasn't looking at her, she could cry out what saddened her most.

Oracle nodded at his attempt to cheer her up and blinked her tears away. wait.. he's... She slowly got up from her spot and went to his side, from his shadow it seemed he was looking away from her as he spoke. She tilted her head to the side as if wondering why. "What are you looking at?" she asked curiously.

Kenji continued on his way as he looked back down into to her glazed eyes. " forward....?" he raised an eyebrow at her in wonder but then understood by the look she gave him. "I was looking away from you.... Maybe that way you could cry out whatever you needed too." he gave a small yawn as they approached a boulder, instantly swiping it with his claws, out of their passage way. "you must miss them."

"I'm alright, the thought of them makes me happy." She grabbed a berry with her mouth from a bush as continued walking. After swallowing she turned back to him and nodded slightly. "I do, but i wouldn't be the sitara i am today if things went differently." The comment wasn't meant just about her, but about him as well. Her tail swayed lightly behind her as her ears twitched with the wind. "What about you, what did you do after everything happened?"

Kenji shook himself of the bitter cold, pondering on her words 'and thats truly a good thing...? Draconian and hostile...' he continued on as he thought more on her words knowing they didn't really have much else to turn to. "...I guess we just took the only path we could... After the incident we just followed a path, caught are food, tried to survive which lead us here after many years... Then Mei - yu wandered off, after that I just stayed here, by this lake.... There really wasn't any point going anywhere else..." His eyes casted over her after finishing what he said, letting his wing spread out in a wide stretch. "What amuses me... Is the fact you seem to be able to find good in most things... Apart from kits." He smirked letting the small breeze ruffle their furs.

so they pretty much lived the way i did for years.. She closed her eyes and lifted her head toward the sun and let it's warm rays beat down on her. "At least you had eachother." she smiled at the thought of them together when they were young. "With kits, they're pure.. and nothing has tainted them, they live life as it comes to them. Just because I may find the good in something doesn't mean I can't dislike it. " She smiled then looked down at the ground. "You know, I could say the same for you. Aside from Angelics you seem quite calm."

"I don't have to despise the world and its contents for one silly brawl that happened many years ago..." He nodded letting out a small sigh. "So i'm guessing after they passed away you wandered just like us...?" He asked her, seeing her gaze drop to the floor. "But you don't seem to have any companions, shame really.. I find you quite interesting." He smirked, his ears twitching. "And your not tainted the way the resentfulness has swallowed us." he wouldn't compliment anyone, so it was quite an honor to be as it only slips from his fangs every blue moon. "Anyway..."

Oracle smiled as she looked back at his shadowy features. "It's good that you don't. It's been really nice talking to you." She nodded in an answer to his question. She was a wonderer and in truth hasn't spent much time around others. "Well it's kind of hard to find people that would pick up and leave they're home to travel with someone they just met." Her ears lowered a bit as she gave a small smile at his compliment. "Thank you"

Kenji gave a nod to her manners and also to her words, it was true not many would befriend a wanderer unknowing what they were capable of or if they were actually telling the truth. He continued on, looking forwards. "I suppose.... However... You have to be careful who you end up wandering with or pick up along the way." He sighed. "Or you never know..." His eyes became slits for only a brief moment, as they soon skipped back to normal, glancing back towards Oracle.
