I remember when I was a kid I just needed a tv in my room. Now, I don't give a crap.
The only channel I really watch is Discovery channel since it has:
1) Mythbusters 2) Dirty jobs 3) Man vs Wild
I also watch: House, Law and order CI and SVU, avatar, and fosters home.
Those are my shows. Maybe I'll watch animal planet/ history channel if there's something good. Let's face it, the internet wis winning over television.

Time moves in a spiral
*sigh* I'd like to say that CN is way better than Nick, with the exception of Avatar, but I haven't been watching that channel recently either. The daytime shows don't interest me, and Naruto is on a story arc that I don't like. Camp Lazlo(sp?) is a sucky show, as far as I'm concerned. But do any of you remember Salute Your Shorts? Or that other show about these two brothers with the same name, and the younger one had a mermaid tattoo on his arm? And then there was the game show that had people running through these Mayan-style runes, and had some sort of prize for the winner? And that Popsicle stick dude... he was funny. Yes, Nick in the old days was much better than it is now, as I see it. (I didn't get CN back then.)
always going forward, yet repeating itself.

((Yes, I totally agree that Nick is way better than Disney, but then again, Disney is for younger viewers than Nick, so that's why it seems cruddy to us.))
In my opinion, the only good shows on Nick are Avatar and Spongebob, both of which appeal to all types of ages.
Disney Channel was only good when I was a little kid in elementary/middle school and they played Recess, and all those Disney movie TV series. But then again, I was at the age when those shows mattered to me.
Cartoon Network is good for Naruto, Bleach, Samurai Champloo, Cowboy Bebop, Futurama, Family Guy, and Robot Chicken.
Back in the day (again, elementary/middle school) I'd watch Rugrats and Rocket Power on Nick, but now those shows don't interest me. I'm glad that Avatar and Spongebob are around. SB is one of those Nick shows that are just random fun-ness, with no morals for the most part.
((Since other people have stated shows they now watch, I'll say mine: Avatar, SB, Naruto, Bleach, Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Family Guy, South Park, Scrubs, and Star Trek Voyager. From time to time, That 70s Show. See, I got a lot of things on TV everyday that's worth watching.))

Disney Channel has some odd kiddy shows and all. It's kinda sad, that the only reason why I'd go and check it out was the Disney Channel movies (if it' was a lame movie I'd changed the channel)
Nick on the other hand, well it has good shows. I'll admit it: I enjoy watching the backyarigans because of the songs (I'm so lame) but I can't even watch Avatar on it. Why? Cause my country's lame and hasn't brought in Avatar Season 3 yet. It has Avatar season 1 and 2, yes. but they don't go by episode, they randomly show things. I used to watch Nick all the time because of Zim, Aaah! Real Monsters and Rocko's Modern Life.
Now Cartoon Network, though I admit that my version of CN in my country is lame because the only anime they show are those which have toys to sell (talk about lame advertising) I'd usually watch The Batman, Justice League, Foster's Home, Gundam Seed and a whole lot of other shows.
That was before, nowadays I barely check DN, CN and Nick. It's off to the net for me sweatdrop

Ah, Disney is tolerable to me. On Nick, the only shows I watch are Drake&Josh and Avatar. None of the others really appeal to me...
