Chiyako suddenly blinked, turning her gaze back to Arahila.
"Oh! I'm sorry!" She blushed, catching up. "It's just...The sky's something...Important to me." She tried to explain, feeling embaressed.
Chiyako sighed happily as she stood next to Arahila, waiting for a time to move.
"So..What made you want to come to the stage?" Chiyako asked, still smiling. Happy memories brought most to the stage, but every story was different. It was a story that could be spawned by death or demise, or perhaps simple hope. Emotions were what made the stage important to her, as well as her parents.

Arahila simply smiled and nodded at Chiyako's explanation before turning to walk and waiting for her to fall into step as they talked. "Me? Well..." Arahila's brow furrowed as she thought about her reasons for joining. "It's kinda...complicated. You see, my family is well off and I'm kinda expected to take over for my father when he dies. I wanted to get out and do some things on my own, just for me, without my family having anything to do with it. I've always loved being on the stage...surprising for someone as shy as me, but I really do." Grinning a little she thought back. "And I remembered my dad taking me to a performance here a long time ago and how independent and happy everyone looked. My dad offered to get me a spot..." here she stopped and her good mood dimmed slightly. "...but I became determined to do it on my own, without his help. I was sick of always getting what I wanted without trying. So I made this my goal."
As her story finished she blushed slightly. She hadn't really spoken much to anyone since coming here and now she had just spilled her life story to someone who was basically a stranger. Trying to cover up her embarrassment at talking for so long she went back to her nervous habit of fixing her hair. "What about you?"

"I see.." Chiyako replied, walking alongside Arahila. "Well..My story's a little bit different, but..You see, I used to never smile..I was a greedy little brat, and had no reason to smile, really. But..Then for my 13th birthday, my parents suddenly got me out of school for a day. They drove me down to Barton for what seemed like hours, and we arrived at the stage..From the moment the show started I was captivated, really..And it made me smile for one of the first times." Chiyako closed her eyes, smiling. "The show..Was 1000 and 1 Arabian Nights. My name, Chiyako, means 'Child of 1000 Nights, you see..My parents had tried for years to get those tickets, and finally saved up enough money for them. They..Changed my life. Ever since I wanted to join so badly, so I could share smiles with everyone."
Chiyako's cheeks were slightly flushed from the good memories, but not out of embarressment. She opened her eyes once more and glanced over at her new friend.

Arahila just smiled and nodded. She had heard similar stories since coming here...people who only smiled when they were on or near the stage, joining to make others smile. It was a nice idea. "What was the show about?" Arahila asked as they walked. "When I came, it was a show about Snow White. It was beautiful." The shows changed every few months and her mind began to wander to shows they might be able to do in the future...and take part in. She also wondered what parts her and Chiyako would be trying for and if they would ever be competing for a role...

Chiyako smiled and nodded. "It was a complicated show...I don't remember much about it, except for the acts and how the maneuvers worked. It was something along the lines of Aladdin though." Chiyako sighed. "I wish I could remember more about the plot...Hopefully the stage will present it again while I work here. It would be so much fun, right?" The smile returned along with good memories. It wasn't hard at all to remember fun times.

"Oh...that sounds like an amazing idea for a show!" Arahila said, bringing herself back to the present. "I bet the costumes for it were amazing. I think it would be awesome if we could do something like that again!" Thinking about the Aladdin story that she knew, it would make a really great stage performance, especially a Kaleido Stage show. as they walked, the town got closer and Arahila suddendly realized that they hadn't really changed from their training outfits. Oh well, the town should be used to it by now, right?

"Yeah..They used a lot of golden embrodery in the show I saw. My mom made me a ribbon with some of the things she remembered on it once...That one got lost a long time ago, though.." She frowned for a second before smiling again. "So...What kind of food are you in the mood for?" She asked, glancing over at her new friend.

Arahila creased her brow slightly and looked at the buildings coming in to view. "Well...anything that isn't salad sounds good." She said with a slight shrug and quiet laugh. "Been eating that a lot lately at the stage." Scanning the buildings she saw a few nice sandwich shops, a pizza place, and even an Italian restaurant....it all looked so good as long as it wasn't vegetarian.

Chiyako immedietly spotted her first option. "Hey! There's a Japanese restraunt!" She chirped, happy to see something familiar from home in the city. "Have you ever tried it before?" Her face lit up as she turned to Arahila, hoping to introduce her to a new cuisine.
