The male nodded, letting out a wistful sigh. How would he explain this...? He wouldn't. He'd only ever let on that Danzi was really his son, Makaa'kali... The playful pawing surprised him a bit, but didn't make him upset. In fact, he smiled, pawing back at Kabichi.

Kabichi smiled at the return, and rose on her hind quarterters to bat playfully as a cat, and fell over rapidly, giggling before jumping about some.

Laughing, Bodaway got up and gently chased Kabichi about. It was rather relaxing, really, to play like this. But he didn't miss the setting sun that said it was time to head home. He stopped, tail curling, and smiled at the white lioness. "I have to go now, I'm afraid." A sigh escaped, "I'm afraid the Motoujamii don't look kindly on a lion going missing, especially part of the pride." He bowed his head, smiling again. "It was great to meet you, Kabichi... My daughter..." As he started to go, he paused and looked back. "And... You'll have five sibblings through adoption soon..."

"Will you visit again.. Father?" Kabichi's ears pricked forward, hoping....
She really hoped...

A grin made it onto the fiery male's maw. "Of course! I can't NOT visit my adopted children, now can I?" After all, he would have to come back and check on Paki at some point. Letting out a rumbling chuckle, he turned and hurried into the dunes.
