Bright and early thursday morning, Raina found herself re-entering the Ancient runes classroom. Looking around she noted that none of her Seventh year students had arrived for class yet. Refraining from yawning she pulled up her chair behind the desk and sat back for some light reading before the students arrived.

Belle walked into class with her head held high as usual. Her makeup and hair was perfect as always, but her eyes revealed the sleepiness with in her as she gracefully sat down in a chair and glowered at Raina, who's face was hidden behind a book.

"I'm glad you could make it Miss Dulthse" said Raina cheerfully as she set her book down and smiled at her student. "Why don't the two of us go ahead and get started" she said smiling at Belle and "Runic divination is a modern practice of divination based on interpretation of the ideograms, or Runes, contained within the Elder Futhark Runic systems. " she said tracing the first rune Fehu in gold with her wand, in the air between them.

Unseen smoke was raising from Belle's head, she was sick of Raina's False kindness towards her, every time that she looked at Raina's cheery face made her want to zap it off of her face, but she held back her temper and pretended to pay attention to the boring lecture on runes that was ahead of her.

"As i'm sure you already Know, each rune has a meaning of it's own, there for, runic Divination is primarily based on the meanings of each of the individual runes." She said Brightly, looking at Belle's bored face. "Now, pray tell me what is the proper way to divine meanings from the runes?" She asked Belle kindly.

"Who cares" Said Belle nastily as she grabbed her books and left the class room. She was sick and tired of Raina's sweetness, and this was one class that she could definately do without.

Raina looked a little startled, but then called after the already gone Belle, "Walking out of class will cost you 10 house points Miss Dulthse" she said before shrugging, and wisking away the run in the air.

Zane walked into the class room and looked around, Ancient Runes could be boring, but he had stuck with the class since his third year, and after running into Raina on the Quiditch pitch, he was excited to see how she went about teaching her classes.
"Hello Professor" he said, giving her a warm smile and taking a seat right up front.

Lily walks in and found a seat in the back of the room and sets her stuff down quietly. Then she slides down into her seat.

with soft feet she entered class and gave Raina a big smile before taking a seat at the front of the room and saying "Sorry i'm late"
