I would suppose so. I mean, if you look at our planet for example, and focus on just one habitat you will see that some species have similaritis in appearance and maybe habits. Also, maybe the xenos have such a body type to help them survive on their original planet. Maybe the evironmet was that harsh that living things needed that tough of an outer layering to deal with it.

I guess that you are right because look at the cows, monkeys, and any other animals. We all have similar things that we need: food, air, water.
Who knows, maybe the prototype might be a relative of the xeomorph because some say that we are a relative to monkeys.

pyromaniac-chan If the Jockies are the original creators of the Xenomorghs that works. The Preds just happened to come across them at a point, realize their great potencial as a perfect prey.. and thus captured and bred them for themselves. Maybe they came across the Jockies, ( if they were the creators..I imagine that they would be found where the Xenos were) and came to an agreement on the use of the Xenos and then never thought of them again. Since I know very little, I am mostly just second guessing. I've always advocated this theory
