Tope lay down and growled to himself, examining his paws. He wouldn't try and find a way out-not yet... He needed to cool down first. Course, that was sort of hard when the one that caused the frustration to erupt in the first place. He lifted his head when he heard her voice, though inaudable, he stood up and glared at her. What you priss? What do you want huh? He added emphasiss too the priss part, since that was what she acted like. Don't get my already dirty pelt gross-don't do this-don't do that-it was like he was looking at his sisters again. He snorted and turned away from her and began to trek along the bottom, his mind now on finding his way out and getting away from this brat.
He was so grateful that Jini wasn't this dumb. He knew that he would never ever like anyother females ever. He was glad that he would never have to stick around anyone he didnt like-now that he was on his own now. It was just him and Jini and that was fine with him. Brat He whispered to himself

Nadra watched him with little interest then looked back down to her freshly cleaned coat, curled up and watched him. She began to purr feeling satisfied that this rude stranger was having a hard time. Watching him walk around, the frown he held on his face, to the way he spoke up to her. She grinned as she figured that it would be a while before he found a way out…
Sighing she put her chin to her fore paws and slowly let her eyes flutter shut, she reminisced about her new mate, how handsome he was, how bold and daring… Sawa was able to take her heart in a matter of minutes, unlike many other males, he was able and fit. Her smile faded and watched the frustrated male. It was a sad picture really, how angry he was, and all she did was walk away when he tried to get physical. a** hole…

Tope sighted an incline that looked not so steep and he padded up too it, looking upwards and judging whether or not he could get up. He was going to ignore the fact that the pretty little pale one who drove him into anger-was above him doing what ever. He placed a paw against the surface and measured the angle. He smiled to himself and brought his other paw up, his back almost vertical. So, he stepped backwards a ways and-with a start ran to the surface and scaled it, his back claws out and grappling the soft side. He heaved, his thigh and shoulder muscles flexing-his fathers genes ran thick in him. He felt beads of sweat appear on his face-his mother curled into a smile.
Then, he started to move backwards faster than foreward. He looked around surprised and then paniced, heaving harder-only to land at the bottom with a thud. He growled, getting frustrated that, he now was covered head to toe-in thick nasty mud. He growled quietly, turning around and walking father away. This time, he stood with his rump moving side to side and ran fast, his paws scaling quickly-his body quivering with the effort. Up he went, his body moving like a snake-inching his way up. Finally, his front paws caught the edge of the ravine and he hung there-his back legs propped against the incline. He rested there, panting and smiling. Ha. He then wiggled his way up out of hte ravine.
He sat there, a distance from the female. He coughed, shaking himself off-far enough away so she wouldn't get anything on her white coat. Priss. He sighed, looking at himself with distaste. This was more mud than he enjoyed. So, he began to walk away along the small trickle of water-where he knew it would grow in size soon enough into something he could rinse off in.

Watching the lion she stood and walked over to where he was rising himself, she of course waited for him to shake what he could off of his pelt and then moved closer to him, she grinned and began walking beside him on the other side of the crick. ”That was impressive, I don’t think that I would have ever gotten out of their…” Looking back to the edge she smiled then looked back to him. An interesting color he had, the mud seemed to match his coat, and was curious if originally was from the swamp pride… Most curious…

He gave her a look like he didn't want her around him and continued walking-his tail twitching at the end. What luck, she wanted to talk still-what a joke. She reminded him of his sister Giza-who always seemed to recover from something to quickly. Well, he wasn't going to fall for her little trick. He just kept walking-trying to ignore her walking-but she opened her mouth and spoke to him and he could not help it-he had to speak.Yeah... It wasn't easy. He said, smirking at her. Of course it would have been difficult-she would have been covered from head to toe in muck.
He shrugged and shook himself off again. Afterall-he was used too mud... or it ran in his veins. His mother-the muddy lioness she was-loved mud. It was a regular thing back home apparently. He never really got to play in the mud there-but he did when he found it. All he had to do normally was follow his mum.
I learned the ways of traveling in mud long ago He said, looking at her suavely. That includes escaping from it.

Simply watching him for a moment as he walked; he put on this whole show that he was hard core, no body could ever mark me, and if they did… the price they would pay. She looked to the ground and grinned, then chuckled. Looking back at Tope she remembered how her mate walked. Confident, cocky, but also gently, like he held back when he walked. It was as if the muscles in his body would rip apart from the sheer power they contained. It was sort of like the opposite with Tope, he seemed to push harder to seem like he was stronger. Maybe it was his mate that he was trying to impress or maybe how his father seemed weak and he was trying to be different. Her smile faded, but was still gentle and calm, ”Tope? Do you accept apologies?” Looking back to him she realized what he was about to do as his shoulder muscles surged, and with a nimble hop avoided his attempt to get clean. Again he tried it, but this must have been another attempt to get back at her for cutting the easy way out, off from the mud pit. When he spoke again she simply cocked an eye brow, but respected what he said and nodded, ”Then you where born in the swamps…” She didn’t know of course why he didn’t live there any longer, but figured it must have been something big enough to cause him not to live there any longer, or at the time being…

Tope wondered why she kept looking at him like that and then thinking. Probbably comparing him to her mate or something-bah. Tope had diffrent tastes as well. His mate, the pale masked female she was-was handicapped and limped-and had a dangerous past and present but he loved her regarldess of her disabilities. He Nadra a sideglance as she dodged his flying mud spots-and he forgot she didn't like that-Tope was not one for revenge.
He sniffed his nose, rolling his shoulders-that were not achey from his attempts at climbing that incline. Appologies-of course he did. He may be hard headed and a jerk sometimes but he wasn't that blind to life. He nodded simply, he didn't feel like saying something that was easliy awnsered silently.
He blinked and smiled, looking at her. Yeah. I was born there but... circumstances required my family to leave... but my Mother still lolls around in mud any chance she can get. He said, lifting his head up a bit. In truth, that whole exile thing-only made the family closer and Tope would have never met his Jini.
And my Name means Dirt afterall

((OOC: Sorry it took me so long babe! Time to have some fun eh?))
Watching Tope, Nadra couldn’t help but think back to her previous encounter with a stranger. It seemed lately that she couldn’t make any one happy. At least… not any one new; from her mates new mate, to this Tope Nadra was beginning to feel down about herself. Maybe she was just an immature person. Maybe… she needed to just grow up. But… that was the single reason she ran away in the first place. Shaking her head with frustration she looked back to Tope as she sat gently down, ”Do you want help getting cleaned off?” Her head tilted to the side slightly as if she was curious to what he would say.
Realizing that what he had just done was more than simply crawling out of a hole, it was trying to crawl out of a hole that was covered in sloppy mud, and out detour traction. Now she really felt bad about leaving him in the hole. How ever, even if she had, when she stayed she wasn’t any help. This Tope seemed pretty head strong, he’d get out’a that hole any ways…
Nodding to prove she understood what he had said, she replied softly, ”Circumstances?” Chuckling at what he said about his mother, Nadra personally couldn’t understand why any lion would want to ‘lull’ in mud. It was a liquid… and when it had a chance to dry, a sticky solid. Not to mention it was so hard to get off unless you had a nearby river, or some one else to help you take it off. ”I’m sure any good family could stick together through any thing. It sounds like you have a pretty nice family.” Family… a sensitive topic.
She smiled, and purred playfully; Tope wasn’t mad any more… This might work out after all!

Tope shook his head at her offer to help him clean. IN fact, he didn't mind being dirty. It was his life... even though it was not home-not the place he was supposed to grow up. Now, he was in this new world that he was adjusting too better than his parents. Nah He said simply shaking himself off again, to rid all the loose dry stuff from his dark pelt. NOt to mention, they mud kept his family cool and the bugs at bay.
Yeah... my family was exiled.. from our old pride... for a stupid reason He said with a disgusted look on his face. He didn't really enjoy talking about how his family was homeless. Yeah... my family is pretty good-even though i get annoyed alot... but... I bet you'd never meet another lion as nice and sweet as my father... an as quiet and kind as my mother He said with a smile. He did love his family however how much they annoyed or such. They were his family
He stretched and shook an annoying fly from his ear. I prefer my mate though... She is-soon to be my mate I hope...

Nadra smiled softly when he denied her offer, and figured the two where complete with their conversation. Maybe within the future the two could meet again and not have such an awkward and difficult scenario to communicate within. Standing and turning away slightly he bowed her head, ”So long Tope, I hope you and your mate live long and well.” Beginning to walk way she chuckled and added without looking towards him, ”Maybe perhaps next time, I wont toss you into a mud pit!” Her strides carried her towards the borders of the pride lands. These prides seemed dead, how ever, they still ran smoothly. Who ever ran them at one time had set up a perfect balance… how ever; she felt this balance was soon going to topple over to one side. Tope and Nadra had gone without intervention of these pride lands pride. Sighing to herself she readied herself to face Sawa and leave him to examine herself.

Tope was surprised that she was leaving so soon, but he didn't want to object-since they both had something else to attend to technically. He nodded in agreement and smiledI hope the same for you Nadra... may you have beautiful white cubs when the time comes.. for there are not enough of them out there He said, standing up and heading in his own direction.
And maybe next time I'll succeed in getting you dirtier he shouted over his shoulder-before running to where he knew Jini rested... waiting for him
