A feather of beautiful blue and gold stood predominant within her muzzle. Ah, Tic loved his feathers so much on days they were together. Of course many more would probably adorn her mane and tail showing off the splendor and creativity of a scarlet macaw stallion.
As she placed it in the basket he felt a sense of knowledge flood his preoccupied brain of possible things Tic would come to receive as future gifts. Anything from their time together, possible memories, even a flood of colors depicting them both were enough to form one single gift. He also started pondering why Celendria had made him quest by the means of other soquili he'd not known or realized roamed these lands.
There was more than meets the eye for him to ponder right at that moment. No matter, he had meet a wonderful mare whom soon he had to part ways in order to fulfill his quest. But, memories of those he was in contact with with always stick with him like his own plumage that set upon his large deepset wings. Even though he'd pluck a few, he still had many more to remain in place.
"Painted parrot. I like that," he responded with a deep grin as his eyes set deeply upon her. He turned to look upon the painting that displayed proudly upon his rump for all to see.
"Thank you Ayelet, I hope someday that we will cross paths once more, and maybe Tic will get to meet you as well. I'm sure she'll want to thank youfor the gift you helped me with."
Nodding his head on last time he picked up the basket and spread his wings in an array of a fantastic primary rainbow. Kicking off the ground he soared in the sky, basket griped firmly in his muzzle.
Sugarplums and a feather now where key components to his quest. What else would he find, or who would he meet in this journey he pondered. Whomever the case was... he was excited to find out and continue what he had set out to do.

Zaribe traveled onward flicking his ears back and forth in the night as the moon hung heavy next to him in flight. Her brilliance illuminating the stallion's golds, red, and blues as his wings propelled him gracefully through the mist-like clouds.
A familiar scent beckoned to him, the salty chill and excitement of water stretching far across the world far below. He adored the sea, rolling playfully in Peru colored sands that supplied the most perfect itch. But, being with Zikeria was one thing he truly missed, two peas in the same pod or nest rather. She may have tainted, even scolded him some days, but her laughter and funny sense of humor is what drove that bad things further away.
So, descending into a dive he swooped downward into that painted land of the sinking earth as it gave way gradually beneath his fine set hooves. He tossed his head gazing at the forever lying ocean as swept outwards and back again leaving his hooves and fetlocks damped with a salty tingling.
Were there any soquili about or would he be able to pluck something that caught his interest from the shifting water as she gifted things upon the shoreline for a few moments, gradually taking them back once more into her ever changing form. It amused him to see things that might of worked in the form of a gift, only to disappear in the frothy sea foam as if it were teasing him. No matter though, for he enjoyed this game immensely.

As the tide swept inward and outward a usual figure stood basking in the swift water as she bellowed against him. May thoughts set firmly in his mind, including a maiden that had come from the ocean that reigned within the sky. She was indeed a wave that could never be tamed, but her memories had never left his thoughts. It was sad when she faded away, but water was a fickle thing which he himself knew well.
Her words, "Trust in mother," always stayed with him as he watched the rising and settling of the tide, often wondering if she was correct that water children were safe from the wrath of Eternity. Still, it was fickle and unknown and he dared not accept that fact that things were simply built and formed because one said so. Eternity, the mother of all creation was indeed loving and gracious, but with any deity you dare not overstep her kindness. For if you took things way too much there certainly was a consequence that lied deeply in those soft spoken words.
His eyes caught a glimpse of something descending upon his shores, a red hued streak tined with golds and blues. He knew it wasn't the maiden, for she blended almost seamless with the mother herself.
No, this was a stallion that had arrived by the cerulean sea high above.
Flicking his ears his waited to see why another had arrived at this lonely place he now realized was more imprisonment than a paradise. Not once would he ever betray his mother by leaving, but stay by her side through his days. Many others had spoken in times of having mates as they strode side by side along the sandy shores, and roamed back into the outskirts of the land he knew nothing about. He'd try so hard to wonder about what other things there were, but his heart lied with the Sea and her restlessness. It would be a rare thought that he'd even think of taking one to roam and frolic by his side. Maybe one day he would... but for now why had this brightly colored male come to his world Mizu wondered.

At first Zaribe didn't see the massive stallion that appeared as a wave himself standing there so still breathing inward and outward.
When he did notice the Sea stallion his eyes widened with curiosity, for there was indeed another that lived within this world he so enjoyed playing within. Stallions were unpredictable, yet Zaribe wondered if this one could help him by chance.
So, throwing caution to the wind he started slowly carrying the basket firmly within his mouth.
When he did indeed reach him, the parrot stallion was mesmerized at the deepness that lied within this stallion's coat. He blended so well with the ocean herself that even the strange markings upon his body seemed very much like waves that rose and fell over him. Breathtaking. Zaribe couldn't help but smile as his rump felt a bit itchy where the painting lied. Remembering that it wasn't exactly permanent he strayed a bit from the sea as she tried splashing against his sides.
Tilting his head he placed the basket gently upon the ground before he spoke, for he wanted to be clear and able to be heard as the roar of the ocean now purred deeply in her restlessness.
"Ah hello there great one of the Sea.... I wonder if you could lend me a thought of your time?" he queried with his eyes still setting upon the great stallion composed of water and frothy foam.

Mizu snorted as the sea foam tickled his nose taking in the scarlet, blue, and gold that stood before him. His mane and tail blowing furiously, lapping at the water that splashed against him, though silken in appearance as they shone like a reflection in the deep waters.
His ears swiveled listening deeply to the other stallion wondering what ploy he regressed and asked openly for. Strange a sky dweller would even ask of his help, but curiosity did intrigue him. Noting the basket the water was lapping at, the stallion saw four strange fruits and a feather nestled gently inside. Odd, that this red male would have such peculiar things in a strange basket.
"Welcome to the reach of my mother's land," the deep creature spoke, his voice long and loud with a addition of proud allure. "I am Mizu and I shall in curiosity help you with what I can."
His watched the other whom seemed so lively under the silvery light of the great light that shone upon both the Sea and himself. He also noted the brightly colored tattoo that existed upon the winged's rump. A picture of a rainbow, banded colors stretching into his fur with a bird that looked very much like the red winged himself.

Zaribe coughed forgetting his manners all of a sudden.
"I am Zaribe of the jungle. Thank you for taking time to listen to my ploy," he noted with a deep bow of his finely built head.
He was still fascinated that two, make that three soquili were coming to his aid.
"My quest is a simple one, granted by an elder-to-be of the herd I roam. I'm to find a gift for my beloved mate, a very special one that says "I love you"."
He grinned quite proudly saying these words, imagining back in a time of when he himself was too fool hardy to even consider devotion and dedication to one he'd spend his life with.
"All I ask of you is to help me find a gift that would be fitting for my Sunny Rainbow. One that would make her eyes lighten and remember me for all time."
He stood there, his eyes gazing in depth on those massive swirls as they turned and straightened on the other's form. If he did indeed live at this place, one that carried so many wonders, then surely there was something he could contribute that would be in honor of his mate.

As the silvery aura hung over his head he noted something that shifted and settled near his feet. It shone like a peacock, the colors simply bright and beautiful. If the other's mate was a sunny rainbow, then colors reflected of herself and Zaribe would be a perfect gift. Leaning his head down he snatched it up as the water was seeping backward, cleansing the beautiful shell of all sandy deposits before placing it gently within the deep basket. Wrapped around the shell was a bit of seaweed as if wrapped and placed that way.

Stepping backwards he smiled proudly though it was quite hard to tell that's what he had done.
"A gift my mother has granted you in your ploy bold one that flies with the massive ocean above this one. Shining in essence of both I feel that it is a gift befitting for the one your heart has spoken for."
He nodded to the other turning to gaze outward at the forever moving waves before he spoke once more, "She moves onward always, though her love is always present if you always remember she is mother to us all". He turned one last time to face the scarlet winged with a deep nod of his proud set head, "May you find what you seek, and make the one you've chosen forever content and loved".
He then stepped out into the waves and seemed to disappear as his coat melted into the deepness and majesty of the one he called mother.

Zaribe noted the peacock type glistening that mirrored on the shell. He smiled thinking how now he wanted to bring her here, to show her one of his favorite places his heart was at peace at.
"Ooh thank you so much ahh Mizu," Now Sugarplums, a feather, and a beautiful shell were aided with his quest, "You've been such a great help to me. I'll be sure someday to bring Tic with me to your land."
He fell within the other stallion's words entranced that he was so deeply connected with the great sweeping body of water that now surrounded him. Spreading his wings, the great stallion bowed his head with a gracious en devour than resettled them upon his back. Leaning downward Zaribe picked up the basket and walked the opposite way, sure that the other had turned for a moment, his gaze following the deepened red stallion as he made his way down the shoreline.

Starla was walking alone in the land. Her mind full of Cuallyen words, she hadn't see him for long and she missed him. She stopped under a tree looking at the sky. It was a night like this one when they were together for the last time. "Where are you now my belove Cuallyen" her mind was flying far away. She even didn't see the stallion walking not far from where she was.

Zaribe had left the sandy land walking with high steps as his presents moved anxiously within the basket. he was beginning now to seek any soquili that roamed these lands in hopes of finding another to aid him.
Tilting his head as the morning was arriving he laid his eyes on a beautiful vision before him. White as snow with a finely built head she carried the most entrancing pink curled locks of silk he'd ever seen before. For a moment he contemplated Tic dressed in pretty roses as this mare was, and he grinned with a thought of how much he loved her. So it wasn't any surprise that he willingly approached this frail mare wondering if she could help him.
Lowering his head in an elegant bow, he spoke with his utmost respectable tone, "Good morning fair one of the roses. I am Zaribe of the jungle. May I ask you of your name so I may address you with proper respect?"
He watched her wondering what she was thinking about, and perhaps her soft voice would help him ponder yet another gift.

Starla almost not heard the stallion before he spoke. She was surprised first, and then even more surprised, in the good way, about the manner of this soquili. He spoke and acted like a gentleman, he didn't need much to catch Starla attention. She bowed back with courtesy. "I'm Starla of Illusia Kingdom." she smiled gently, her voice was as soft as the roses on her hair. "Nice to meet you Zaribe of the jungle."

Jean Claude huffed looking around him. He had come too far this time. He wasnt normally around these parts. But he had company that he had found in Esperanza. Groaning as the sun touched his eyes, he looked back at the palomino mare. She had dragged him thus far. He wasnt sure why he actually followed the mare that he never really saw much of anyway.. but maybe thats indeed why when she'd asked, he'd consented. But wait.. He looked back and narrowed an eye. What on earth did she have in her maw? "Esperanza... Might I inquire about the item in your mouth?"
She looked at him, and cocked her head. Her creme mane falling around her face and neck. Oh! She blushed, dropping the small rock she had found. "I found it in your cave Jean. I do hope you dont mind that I have.. retrieved it." She looked at the golden, shiny rock and wasnt in the slightest sure how it was made.. But that didnt really matter too much. "It would make the perfect gift for someone unsuspecting."

Zaribe beamed at how beautiful she was, as her hair and roses complimented her perfectly. She'd know of a decent gift, he was sure of it. Practicing with others, making himself more presentable and more of a gentleman was what he was loving about himself. A bird colored stallion learning how to approach others and become something more in their eyes. Perhaps, he thought to himself that is why Tic Tac Toe chose him over any other stallion out there.
Zaribe was growing with a better knowledge and wisdom.
Starla. He repeated her name in his mind quickly so he wouldn't soon be a birdbrain and forget.
"An honor to meet you miss Starla," he bowed his great head again with a sweep of his mane. "I'm on a quest for my beloved from the elder of the herd. Would you be able to help me?"
Describing what he needed along with Celendria's words, he waited to see if Starla did indeed have a suggestion possibly.
~Buffy
Zaribe was quite content with himself as he was learning things from the different faces he came in contact with. The naive, the curious, even the beautiful faces that roamed these lands stopped for a moment to offer assistance and help him in his quest. If he did indeed keep this up, why pretty soon the basket would be brimming with color and he'd be on his way homeward by now.
His stomach growled a moment as the sound of rolling fruit had captured his attention. Four fruit remained out of five. That meant that he could at least eat two more and still keep the last two for Tic Tac. Heaven forbid if he'd devour Shaylee's gift, she'd never forgive him, not in a million years. Sticking his head in the basket that he placed upon the ground, Zaribe indulged on the second one leaving three behind. If he did indeed plan on getting hungry, there had to be something else to replace that feeling than the remaining fruit within the basket.
Satisfied of his now sated appetite he looked around him then lifted the basket in his mouth. Now to find the next soquili in his path...
A stallion and a creme colored mare weren't too far off from his destination ahead of him. Why not talk with them and see if they could help fill the basket some more.

Jean huffed again.. This time at the wonders Esper always seemed to find in his cave. "Youd do well to learn whats mine is yours.. But that doesnt mean things.. in my home." He said, raising an eyebrow. But his gaze got caught on a red figure coming closer. It was brightly colored. He wasnt sure if he'd ever SEEN something so oddly colored.
"Bonjour. Might I ask about your buisness here?" Not rude. Just formal.
Esper smiled at Jeans comment to her, and looked ahead as he did. A lovely stallion stood to the front of them. He reminded her of her 'brother' Guilian. But he was much more colored than Guilian was.
She fwapped Jean with her tail as she looked back at the stranger. "Hello!"

Zaribe smiled with a lowering of his head in a gradual sophisticated bow, or rather what felt right at the time. This time a tall stallion and a pretty light colored mare were open to his asking. The main thing he had to remember was this... don't overstay or overdo your welcome. It was something he had to remember in his sweeping bows that let the tips of his mane brush over the grass smoothly.
"I am Zaribe of the jungle. I am honored to meet the both of you on this glorious day, " he announced with a deepness that trailed from his maw. "I have been bestowed a quest from my elder and I seek a present for my mate whom I love so very much. Pray tell could either of you help me?"
He nodded thinking it was very well done and felt quite accomplished that something such as this quest could definitely better in in most ways. He then went on with his tale as he'd done countless times before.
Standing there with his basket placed neatly on the ground he waited for their answer eying the lovely items he was gathering for his Sunny Rainbow. The thought made him smile deeply.
