Hlao let go of Devi's hair, reaching out to take the black unicorn with an expression of reverence as she gently petted it's coal black mane. She coo'd gently at it, hugging it and enjoying the softness. She'd make a grab for Devi's horn later, afterall Daddy always let her play with his horns. They weren't as pretty as her's was but they were still fun.
Bran shifted, looking away, his face turning slightly red. "Mm.." he didn't know how to say what he wanted, so instead he relented and sat back down, motioning to the bandages at his neck. "Yes.. they probably need redressing."

Devi sat quietly, legs folded like any good lady, and supervised as Hlao played with her Blackie. As long as she didn't put him in her mouth, or anything... (Though, Iggy tried to eat Blackie the first time they met, and he survived. But still. Drool was icky.) Meanwhile, the redhead had plunked down on the carpet. This was boring. He didn't even have anything to color with. There were paints in her, but no paper. Osha sighed and rolled over, facing a blank wall.
...well.
Now there was an idea.
Zack, unaware Osha was currently slathering paint all over a bedroom wall, was stuck on the fact Bran might be blushing. He was thrown off for a moment until he remember he had asked Bran a few moments ago. Gods, his memory was going. (What wasn't going these days?) Well, there was no point in just sitting around. "C'mon," Zack said, heaving himself to his feet and offering Bran a hand. He smiled. "I can fix that for you."

Hlao was occupied with the stuffed horse for only so long. She gently handed it back to Devi when she was done with it, looking over her shoulder as she heard sounds coming from the wall. She perked up, giving a small sound of interest as she saw Osha smearing colors all along the wall. She clapped her hands. A painting!
She imagined pictures and creatures in the colors as Osha did his work. A splash of red was fire from a dragon, a smudge of yellow was the pretty hair of a lost maiden. She crawled toward the boy, plopping down on her rear near him and cooing. "Uu.. yaa, yaa!" She chuckled happily, encouraging him to continue.
Bran took Zack's hand and stood, following the other to wherever he might be taking him. He paused awkwardly, reaching up to touch the neck of his ceremonial garb. "Zack...?" He shifted, looking down. "I missed you." He'd probably said it already but now that they were alone.. he felt something break, his willpower trickled away and before he realized it hot tears were streaming down his cheeks as his shoulder shook. "I never thought I'd see you again... or Osha... I thought they'd take her away from me, oh God, Zack."
He pressed his face into his hands and struggled to get ahold of himself.

Osha blinked and glanced over his shoulder when he heard some gurgling noises. Couldn't be Devi. He blinked again and frowned. She wasn't playing with Blackie anymore; was she bored? He sighed. What do you do with bored kids? Oh! Osha turned and offered Hlao the cup he was holding (purple paint). She probably couldn't paint like he could (he was an artist), but she might have fun. "...wanna paint?"
Zack was leading Bran to the bathroom so he could take care of the bandages when the other man paused. He shifted and blinked before smiling softly. "Oh. It's okay. I missed you too," he said, nodding. Wait. Was Bran crying? Oh, s**t. Oh, double s**t. Why was he crying? But before the black-haired rockstar had a chance to ask, Bran was speaking again. "Hey. Whoa. Whoa. You're okay," he murmured, not entirely sure what to do. He stepped closer and collected Bran into his arms. "It's okay now, though, right? You're here. I'm still here. And you still have Hlao. Everything is okay now."
