Ishida's ears perked up as he intently listened to his brothers instructions. He was a bit nervous in all this, but that had slowly began to ebb as excitement took his place. Freedom! He could nearly taste it, and he was sure that the others could as well. Though he may not of been as closely watched under his mother's eye, that idea of freedom, without the worry of her indeed watching him, just felt so close and oh so possible.
"Okay, Kai, but tell me when you need a break. I can try to help cover some of the tracks, but let you do the final touches on breaking our trail." He gave an affectionate bump against his sisters side before turning his attention back to Cam and Tain, ready to follow the two once they would strike out. He nodded to the two of them, reaffirming that he was ready, and assuming that Kai ws as ready as she could be, as far as he knew.
"Alright, Cam. I'm ready whenever you want to go."
(sorry for taking so long. ;__; )

(No worries <3)
Cam nodded grimly. "That sounds good, Kai." After nodding at Ishida, he turned to Tain. "Okay, Tain, I want you to stay between the three of us. You're bigger than us, but it'll still look less suspicious than if you were on the outside. Once we get into the Pridelands, and we find your family, you should be okay. Ma... er, Roho won't want to trespass in the Pridelands. That's more trouble than it's worth in her eyes." Which was why she always made him go instead.
"So... let's get going." With those simple yet final words, he turned his back on the lands he had grown up in, hoping he would never have to turn back again.
It was frustrating, of course, to finally be free but still not be able to be free. Tain, however, remained patient, knowing that it would all be over soon, and that soon, he could do what he wanted.
For now, he listened to Cam, and when he turned, Tain followed, taking in a deep breath of the night air.

(RL comes first, dear, you know that. <3)
Kaihdin nodded at the final instruction, and followed her brothers and Tain, falling into place as the last person in the escape. She couldn't help but stay for an extra moment, looking over the place that for all her life, she had called 'home.' Where she had grown up, where she and Cam had first snuck off to, where she had made her first killing...
Where so many bad memories entertwined with the rest. She sighed, giving a last look in the direction of their den, to her sleeping ex-family, and continued onward.
Once they walked a goodways, she left the line, searching through what rubble and small twigs she could find until a dirty, torn, and hole-ridden leaf caught her eye. And what luck! there were many on the stick, too, so she looped her tail around it and dragged it behind her, sweeping their tracks into the dust, where they belonged.

There were no sets of prints left on the ground, that night, but they were evident in the minds of those they left behind. Roho was furious when she discovered her heir and two sons had vanished into seemingly thin air.
Lucky for them, the branch Kaihdin had chosen had a few leaves on it. The scent of the dying greens masked most of their scent, and as they journeyed, it all but completely disappeared. They were, indeed lucky.
The four made their way through the desert, jungle, and all in between, heading towards the lands so close yet so far away to all. They grew in spirit and character as they walked, talking amongst themselves in safe intervals, and learning more about each other.
The future seemed bright, and they trotted towards it all the more happily.
