I'd have to go with Blink also, that episode was the only one that really freaked me out.

I'm going to say "42" Because I've only seen the new version of Doctor Who. And I have never seen the doctor as afraid has he was near the end of "42"

42 wasn't scary. Maybe the "kill me now" bit, but that's all. Blink meant I couldn't get to sleep. So did Imposible Planet, Satan Pit, Empty Child and The Doctor Dances. I liked the doctor who minisite's layout for that one though. "While London sleeps, the Doctor dances"

Blink is the only episode that truly creeped me out. had a bad dream the next night for a whole week or so. 42 and the family of blood didn't seem all that scary to me.

42 wasn't scary so much as it was urgent. The editing and pacing in that episode was great. It kept me holding my breath and waiting for what was going to happen next. I watched it on my laptop with headphones on while the people I was hanging out with were doing something I wasn't interested in. I finished it and literally had to catch my breath.
Blink, however, scared me, though I'm not too hard to scare. Again, though, it was the editing and pacing that did it. The concept of the Weeping Angels isn't too terribly scary in and of itself. It was the execution of the filming process that made the episode so brilliant.

42 wasn't even remotely scary, and Blink wasn't really scary either. The angels looked too comical.
Definitely the most chilling episodes of the new season were the Empty Child double episodes. : D

I could barely watch Empty Child and Blink. But then again I get scared easily. I don't understand why people think 42 was so scary.

I can't see why 42 could be scary, certainly the "Burn with me" but was a bit creepy but it's nothing compared to Blink, the idea of something killing me (or transporting me back in time if you wanna get technical) as soon as I'm not looking at it is terrifying and the sequence with the flickering light and the angels getting closer with their evil faces was just perfect to make the episode scare me
after that, I'd have to say that The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances are among the creepiest episodes of a tv show that I have ever seen, The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit freaked me out a bit too

Going with Blink. It gave me nightmares, for one, and my little brother couldn't even get to sleep...it wasn't the transportation back in time that scared me. It was the whole thing with "Don't Blink". I can't go longer than twenty seconds without blinking. It was rather creepy, though less so the second time around.
I don't think 42 was that bad. It sort of confused me, actually, the whole sun thing. But my dad and I joked about the "Burn with me" thing for days. It was a bit of a stressful ep, lots of screaming and flaming and bright light, but not exceptionally creepy.

The first Doctor Who episode that really creeped me out was The Empty Child that was just so creepy [goes off topic- I like the comentarys for those two episodes, that part when the Doctor looks at Nancy and they say ' he's thinking " You Slut!"'
But Blink didnt scare Me the first time I watched it because it was in the middle of the day, really bad youtube quality, and I'd missed the first part The second time I still didnt get scared, I was watching it with my mum and dad at night when it showed on TV
But the Third Time I saw it I really creeped me out, It was when I got the boxset It was about 10 at night and I was watching it by myself in the dark, It was so creepy...................

I thought it would be Blink smile I only watched it a few days ago and it was so freaky/creepy!! I love episodes like that!!Quote: Going back to nineth Doctor though... I was pretty freaked out by the kid in the gas mask in The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances. Same... I believe it was one of only few DW episodes I'd watched at the time (I was interested in DW but not that interested and those episodes completely freaked me out and made me want to be more of a fan!
