As the girl pressed herself against his form, the lion actually made way to fit her against his form more easily; unlike Oth, he didn't seem to mind the contact all that much. After all, he'd already had his 'shock she's touching me what the HELL', the first time he'd met her. Enok's mind only really had room for some much information and reaction, and a repeat of a situation didn't warrant enough surprise for a surprised reaction, "Huh," he murmured under his breath, his large head moving to look up into the heaven's, "Kinge's idea; why am I not surprised."
It was actually amusing to note, that pressed one against the other, they looked like a really strange, unnatural couple basking in the moonlight furtively. Nothing further from the truth though, or at least as far as Enok was concerned; proof enough was that she wasn't getting the same nervous reaction from the lion as she had from the hyena. But then again, Izulu might've just taken that the other way around, "Oth? Oh, he's fine, don't worry about him; he'll be back to his cheerful state as soon as he errr..." he waved a paw, wrinkling his nose in concentration, almost as if searching for the right word to use yet failing. Miserably. After all, the word he wished to use was not one... he should use in front of Izulu, "De-stresses himself?" he offered lamely before rolling his large shoulders into a shrug.
Rolling his eyes, the lion shook his mane, fluffing it out, "Of course she'd say that..." he mumbled under his breath, "The girl's got a knack for making situations turn all awkward... born with a gift. Or something..." he blinked out of his daze to stare down at the lithe hyena pressed up against him. If Oth's confused expression had been amusing, Enok's blank look at her as she mentioned cubs, was priceless, "Pardon...?" he couldn't for the life of him understand where the 'cubs' had come from till again, his mind offered him a 'click', his mouth turning into a silent 'oh' shape. Slowly he turned to look down at the hyena, "We're going to have to teach you about the fine, intricate... means of the thing called 'sarcasm'. Something tells me it completely escapes you."
He opened his mouth to talk, but swiftly shut it again, shuddering at the thought of becoming Mr. Izulu, "Uh.... they're not here. They're far, far away. The cubs went with their mother.... to... wherever their mother went... to," he seemed to lack the mastermind which Kinge had displayed at lieing. In fact, he was struggling deeply, "Don't worry about me though; I'm all patched up from the heartache. Actually, come to think about it, Oth's probably worse off than I am; he liked that girl, but she liked me more," nodding his head, the lion stood up, pausing briefly as if a notion had only just occurred to him, "What're you doing out here all alone? I thought you had a pride?" he pushed her slightly head of him, moving her through the grass and towards the cave he and Oth had been sharing for the past few days, almost as if afraid to keep her out of his sight if only for a moment, "If you're all alone, you can stay with us; we were planning on moving on tomorrow. We're probably headed towards the mountain areas next."

"Awwww, i love cubs," Izulu sighed and shook her head. she was upset but... well, upset never lasted long with this one. She'd almost forgotten that she'd even mentioned Enok being "mr. Izulu," in fact. Actually, one couldn't be sure if that "want" had ever even occurred to her before the moment she'd said it. "Maybe we'll run into their mother one day and I can meet them!" She nodded to herself, "But you should have kept at least one--lions should have a pride you know."
That sparked an idea, obvious from the straight raising of her ears and tail and the widening of her eyes. For once in her life she didn't mention whatever it was that was on her mind, however. The hyena just bound along at Enok's side back towards the cave. "I was in a pride, yes, but I saved them from the Ivy King in a glorious destructive battle!!" Crowing with excitement the female bounced higher than she had before, then fell upon the ground with a furious snarl. The moment was broken by a grin once more coming over her maw and a waggle of her tail and butt. "But I killed him, yes i did, unfortunately poor Orzander died in the fight."
This time there came a sigh and a lowering of her entire body, head, ears, tail and all. She perked up once more and giggled, "But I patched up too, and everything is okay again! And now I'm off to find where the Ivy King's minions have cropped up and deal with them too. Bad'ns they are."
The female nodded again, almost to herself, and padded into the cave when they'd reached it. It seemed that she just assumed her acceptance here, and was perfectly content to stay with them from that moment on. "I do hope Othy is okay. The trip to the mountains will be long--I've never seen mountains before."

"Oh, he'll be JUST fine," the lion offered her a smile, which turned into a throaty chuckle as she retold her story of the battle with the ivy-king. Somehow, even Enok seemed to know that this Orzander was made up; it just seemed like something she'd do, "He died for a good cause, I'm sure," he motioned towards the distance, his eyes narrowing, "There's Ivy in the mountains we're going to, if that helps. Being on the move always helps - keeps the herds from thinning. Since we don't belong to a real pride, and it's just the two, three now, of us... we need to make sure to keep on following the herds."
Flopping down with a soft thud within the cave, the lion allowed himself to lay against the wall, "Damn that hyena though... woke me up from my sleep with all that howling..." a snort escaped the feline's maw as he closed his eyes to the darkness, his tail curling around the smaller female's frame, as if needing to know exactly were she was at all moment was deeply important, "Something tells me that we'll be getting a lot of that howling in the future..."
Somewhere up north, just a bare few minutes' run from the cave, a certain male hyena sneezed loudly as he swam inside the waterhole. After the motion, he let out a sigh and allowed his head to hit the surface of the water before he sunk under the liquid, bubbling till his eyes and mane where the only things peeking out, "Bloody hate leopards..." the words were hard to determine due to the bubbling, but somehow, the wind almost seemed to carry them over to Kinge, whom rested in a nearby tree, glancing down at the canine with a definite smirk upon her maw.
"Love you too, kid..."
