*FLIES DRAMATICALLY INTO YOUR QUEST THREAD.* Okay, here we go! Evil character. 8D
So, this thought of mine goes back to a fel essence I already liked! *DRAMATICPOINTS AT SHATTERED DIAMOND.* With the right interpretation, you already have Essence of Villain right there: on one hand, you have the social thing where diamonds represent wealth; money is the root of all evil and/or money is power and power corrupts, right? So, uh, being made from Something Shiny might lead to a small touch of arrogance already... AND THEN. The potential ability you have: "He could see the inherent flaws and weak points in objects." Think about this for a second, couldn't this mean he might also be naturally inclined to look for / point out personality weaknesses in people? One of the more fun things villians do is be conniving and manipulative, hitting people where it hurts with their words as well as their actions.
So yeah... combine with Harley over there, and I see a cunning class-A villain ready to be brought out into the world. XD What do you think?

I... also can't shake this mental image of him eating shards of broken glass partially because he's hungry, but mostly to freak people out. D8 Oh god.
Regardless of what concept you end up sticking with, though, I really hope you complete your quest. <33

Yes definately because believe it or not I had wanted to do a harliquin concept myself. I'm just glad there's someone who has more insight on it then me doing it. *nods*

Unfortunately, I had to change that for conflicting interests but it would have been nice to see it through. I may keep some side bar notes on it just in case.

Revamp of the guardian concept to reflect a character I love a great deal and would love to someday be able to write again. The raevan concept remains the same, I feel there's just a lot of potential in the design and the ability to grow a well rounded personality. Other ideas I have bouncing around my head will slowly be added as well.

Go Silver Go! I still love your evil Raevan concept. The soul is fun and different, the essence of shattered diamonds would make for stunningness. And the vast possibilities for the abilities...*drools* I have no doubt you'll do well in working this char should it ever get to being a reality. Good luck!
