Derryk smiled. "Hand-maidens? You trust a hand-maiden? Please, she probably is telling you that so you'll reward her!" He was laughing. "Ask your own wife, that is unless you trust a hand-maiden more?" He looked to Lady Nyx.

Lady Nyx glanced from her husband to her lover..."Derryk...I..hm...Lord, I'm sorry...this man broke into my room. If you are referring to Dwyn, that little slut was probably sleeping with him and her words were most likely hand fed to you because I dismissed her from my service this afternoon." Lady Nyx rose from her bed and stepped closely to her husband, "My Lord, " she bowed and kissed his ring, "You know that I am as faithful to you as you are to me..."

Erebus sighed, he was so fumeing mad, at hearing that he broke into her room, he didn't want to belive his wife was commiting adultary, but the evidince was stacked aginst her.
"If he so broke into your room, why did you not call me at once? Why were you letting a pitiful human kiss you? If I hadn't had stopped this, then how far would it have gone? You've both got to see that I might be trusting but as of late I've seen less of my wife, this is beyond trusting."
Erebus sighed, this was a bit much, someone was going to pay, and well he decided it was going to be the human.
"Guards, take him to the brig, i'll send the medical team in there in a bit."

"My Lord, I was just pushing him away to call for you when you came in." Lady Nyx wondered what Erebus planned for Derryk and if there was anyway for her to stop it...She decided she first must make her presence known as Erebus' wife once again, she realized she had been slacking off in her duties. She sighed and slipped under his arm. "My Lord, I am at your service, forgive me for not being here to do your calling..."

Erebus, let her think she was winning him back, this was going to be fun, he nodded to his guards to drag him off.
"If he resists, kill him."
He said coldly, then he looked at his wife, and put on a fake smile Erebus didn't want her to think that he was on to her.
"Now, it wasn't about being there for my calling, you never come around me anymore, you just sit up here with you pitiful maiden, whom we won't have to worry about anymore I gave her a "reward", but you should have sounded the alarm right away, before he even had a chance to touch you."

"Of course my Lord," Lady Nyx bowed low and and asked, "Do you have an extra guard that could be spared...I rather fear for my life currently and am a bit shaken...My Lord will you be gracing me with your presence later this evening...I would like to be prepared for you..." she trailed off, trying to keep composed.

Erebus thought for a second, then he sighed. He was mad but he couldn't show that right now, he was very mad with her.
"You'll be sleeping in my chamber from now on, if you fear that much for your safety then you don't need to be sleeping alone"
With that said, he stay down, right where she had been sitting this was grave, if his own wife was turning on him how could he trust anyone else in the house.

Derryk smiled up at the two guards on either side of him as he was dragged down the hallways. "Now come on, we can work this out right?" He received a blow to the ribs and he winced. "Guess not." He let himself go limp as they travelled down a flight of stairs that was only mildly painful. He sighed and was thrown roughly into a generic-looking cell, dripping walls and all. There he sat.

"Of course Milord..." Lady Nyx bowed low and gathered a few necessary items and moved to his chambers. She began to pace the room, waiting, wondering...what would he do with her? She knew that he did not believe her innocent plea. His room was darker, more foreboding than hers was. You could tell he was a bloodlusting vampire just from being in his room. His pleasure was no longer from a wife but rather from the dozens of innocents that he brought to his chambers during the week....

Something dripped from the ceiling. Blood, water, tears, didn't matter but it sure as hell got to a guy after a few minutes. He covered his face with his hands and finally allowed himself a second to evaluate the situation. She betrayed him. Eh, he couldn't blame her. He would have done the same exact thing. Hell, he had done the same exact thing in the past. Still, he had somehow tricked himself into thinking she actually had cared.
He laughed outloud at that.

Erebus sent a note down to his guard and told them to watch over the human, as his medical team was on its way down, he then walked into his chambers a sighed.
"Now you have a choice darling, you can come down and watch what happens when you stab me in the back, or you can stay here and see what happens later."
Erebus let her mull over that while he decended the stairs to the brig, this was sure to be a fun night eather way.

A few entities more landmass than man approached him. Derryk figured it would be a few more minutes until unscrutinable agony would befall him; Erebus would want to watch, right? He stared at the cieling and tapped his feet, whistling a tune while his heart did the tango.

Lady Nyx decided to come down and she hoped that maybe there was a way to avoid Derryk's death...but she was unsure of how. "Milord...I'd like to accompany you please..." Her eyes begged for his mercy

Erebus, got to the floor where the brig was located, his med team should be there by now, he smiled to himself as he heard his wife catching up behind him, this did not slow his pace any tho.
"Alright, this should be fun, would you say so darling, dinner and a show."
He said this as he enter the room where Derryk was being held in his own little cell, he smiled quite evily to him as he sat down on a chair just out of reach of the cell.

Derryk stopped whistling and smiled back.
"Alright?" he asked, his chest burning within his ribcage from the sporradic leaps of his heart. He looked Erebus right in the eyes.
