As they came with in range of the village he could not make out the forms of what looked to be both undead people and spiders stumbling about around the outskirts of the village. “Do you think you can banish those spiders from a distance like you did those last undead?” Turning his head he looked to Linus his grip on the lance loosened slightly then tightened once more. “If you cannot banish them all at once maybe we could draw them out one at a time or in a small group.” He then looked back to the village and the undead and sighed. “Do you have some kind of a plan Master Linus because I don’t see us taking all of them by are self’s.”

"Unfortunately... I have no plan at all.. we can wait for the King to send us reinforcements, but that could take a few days, and the Village does'nt exactly have that kind of time.. we don't, either." Linus said with displeasure. "Our only hope right now is either a Miracle while we fight.. or a new comrade arrives to help us." Linus said.. "The miracle seems much more likely to happen."

"Ha Ha! Looks Like you guys need a little help with those things down yander!" Jack said with his trademark smile gleaming as bright as ever on his face. He then jumped up onto a nearby rock and proclaimed:"It's lucky for you that I was just heading for Normegard and I had to find this SUPER short cut... darn corn farmers said this way was easy!" The two holy officials looked at him with much bewilderment as Jack waited for a response. "Anyway, how can I be of some minor assistance?"leaning down to add a dramatic effect to his discomfited monolog.

"By the Light, seems like a miracle won't be needed after all. We're going to need assistance with purging that village over there.. nasty things, undead. Much too many of them for merely two of us." Linus said to the newcomer with a bit of irritation that the King would send only the two of us to purge a large village of swarming undead.
"Looks like the two of you will meet battle today. Here comes a few of the undead spiders now.." Linus said with more displeasure, pointing at one of the spiders.. how unlucky for the one who was being pointed at. A purging spell erupted from Linus' fingers, erraticating the Spider he was pointing at.

"Don't worry, surely the three of us can put an end to these panzies! Now where did I put my sword..." he said to himself as he patted himself in places that a sword would never ever fit. "Oh yes, I put it over there by that rock so I wouldn't draw attention to myself!" He darted over to his previose rock-strewn position to pick up his sword as one of the spiders leaped an narrowly missed him. "Now, where are those buggers, get it buggers? HAHAHA, sometimes I crack myself up!" he bellowed as he wiped a tear from his eye.

A Spider charged towards the newcomer, his displays caught the Spdier's attention.
The Spider hissed as it lunged for the kill, it's sharp claws aiming for his throat.

Jack then bends over to pick up his sword, then the advancing spider stumbles over the (lucky?) traveler. With a slight "ugh", Jack pickes up his not-so-wieldly sword. "Ohh, there's one." And with a second to get into somewhat of a stance, he easily sliced through the flesh of the twisted beast.

"Well, that's one! You gonna help or what?" he said as he rushed toward one of the dencer mounds of undead. Zan then started swinging at his numberous foes with a smile on his face. This was the kind of stuff he liked!
