“Wow – the States, huh?” Naomi had gone there when she used to travel around with her dad. She groaned when she heard the bell. “I don’t wanna go yet.” she said, looking at Ryou. She mostly didn’t want to go because of the fact she hadn’t done her math homework and she wouldn’t have time to do it in class. She sighed, looking back at Akiko, “C’mon chick. Let’s get you into class.”
Yuugi didn’t reply to Jonouchi immediately. He heard the bell ring suddenly and thought it would give him a good chance to at least get to class. He still wouldn’t be able to get away from either Jonouchi or Honda because they were in his class. He put the golden box back into his backpack and shut his locker. “I have to go to class.” He said as he went around Jonouchi.
Honda nearly jumped when he heard Miho behind him. He hadn’t been expecting to see her until they got in class. He turned around smiling in greeting. “Good morning Miho-chan.” He had a crush on Miho and nearly everyone knew... except Miho herself.

"Yup, long way from here," Akiko gave a friendly smirk. She followed Naomi and Ryou to their class. As they walked in, the teacher stopped Akiko.
"You must be our new student. Please wait outside until the whole class comes in," he said politely. He was going to introduce her to the class.
"Oh, okay then," she said as she walked up to the wall behind her and leaned against it. She gave Naomi and Ryou a snall wave as they walked in. She looked around, almost day dreaming. She thought about the song she was righting and hummed it a bit.
Ryou waved back and followed Naomi. He sat down and waited for her to sit next to him. He went through his bag quickly and looked at his math homework. After a small debate in his head, he handed Naomi the paper. "Just this once, ok? Copy it fast," he whispered.
Jounochi looked around, seeing Yuugi was gone. "Good job, Miho," he mummured.
Miho gave a cute smile, "Good morning!" She then looked at Jounochi and scolded him, "Jou, why do you have to be such a meanie! Honda-kun, you weren't being mean with Jou, right?" She gave him puppy eyes.

Naomi watched as Akiko went out the classroom and then went to her desk, sitting next to Ryou. She put her back down and was taking out her notebook when Ryou handed her his math homework. “Really? Thank you. You’re such a life saver.” She said and then quickly started to copy the work.
Yuugi sighed after making it away from Jonouchi. When he came to it, he noticed a girl standing outside the door. I wonder why she’d out here... He thought. She didn’t look familiar... maybe she was new. He debated on whether or not he should talk to her... the teacher would introduce her to the class. He decided not to be rude. “Hello,” He said smiling a bit.
Honda couldn’t answer truthfully with that look Miho was giving. Not that he would answer truthfully to Miho. “Of course not! I wouldn’t do anything like that.” He said, making himself quite sure of that.

Akiko was knocked out of daydreaming when she heard a greeting. She blinked a bit and looked at Yuugi. She smiled and waved slightly, "Hello." She tilted her head slightly and asked, "Are you in this class?" she pointed at the classroom.
Ryou smiled, seeing how it brightened Naomi's day. He then whispered to her, "If you like, I can maybe help you with homework- like a study group. We can help eachother- it would make studying go faster." Ryou asked her this for two reasons, one- to help her out, two- to possibly spend more time with her. They got along pretty well- they should spend more time rather than walking too and from work.
"Liar," Jounochi mummbled partially playful. He started to walk to class with them. He could see Yuugi standing and talking to some chick he never saw before. He shrugged and walked pass him.
Miho walked along Honda, "That's good because Miho doesn't like it when she sees Honda-kun as a meanie!" She kind of missed seeing Yuugi and the girl and walked into class. She saw Naomi and Ryou- she thought they were nice and really wanted to talk to them more- but Honda and Jounochi really don't talk to them [yet, lol].

Naomi thought about it, pausing in her copying. She worked nearly everyday and if her boss kept being a jerk, she’d barely have enough time to sleep. Although being in a study group would certainly help things. “Sure... if you don’t mind.” She said. She glanced up as Jonouchi, Honda and Miho walk into class.
Yuugi nodded, “Yep.” he said. “Are you new here?” It was a bit obvious that she was but he asked anyway.
((Not much on Yuugi...))
Honda walked into class, letting Miho go ahead of him (like a gentleman should). He noticed the unfamiliar girl Yuugi was talking to. That kid hardly talked to anyone. He brushed it off and went to sit down.

The teacher poked his head outside the door and said, "Yuugi, we're starting class now." He said it nicely to him.
Akiko nodded her head and smiled, "Uh-huh, I'm gonna be know as the 'new girl'." She then thought, 'or 'new chick' as Naomi would say.' She looked at the teacher, then back at Yuugi, "Well, I'll see you in class." She already met three people today- she was doing well. She mentally face palmed herself- she should have asked for his name- oh well.
"I don't mind at all!" he said enthusiastically. He looked over to see Honda, Jounochi, and Miho. He hasn't really spoken with them, actually- he only really hangs around Naomi. Bakura was the new kid for a while- about a month or so. He was really shy and didn't seek out conversations from others, actually- Naomi was the one to greet him. After that they just started talking more. He smiled at the thought, at his rememberence.

Naomi smiled. “Wicked.” She liked hanging out with Bakura. He was one of her first friends here actually. She ran into him on his first day and that day she found out he was her new neighbor. Now she considered him her best friend. She wrote down the last few problems and then handed the paper back to Ryou. “Again, thank you very much.” she said. “Next time I’ll remember to do my homework.”
Yuugi looked up at the teacher and nodded then looked back at the girl. “It was nice talking to you.” he said and then went into class. He was one of the last ones to come in. The short teen went to his seat near the back window, noticing Bakura and Naomi. He didn’t really talk to either of them... but then again he really didn’t talk to anyone.

The teacher began to talk to his students, "Class, we have a new student joining us today. Her name is Akiko Ame." He motioned for her to come in and she did. "Akiko, please take a seat there," he pointed to a seat that was one row away from Yuugi's, but more up front (middle front). It was about two rows away from Naomi on the opposite side. He started class.
Akiko walked in, her normal look switched to a slightly nervous look. She didn't like being in front of all these people. Thankfully- she didn't have to say stuff about herself. She took her seat and took out two note books- one for her class and one that had bits and pieces of songs in it. She would write them down after she drempt them or a situation. Class was class- nothing special. She would balance her pencil on her nose when the teacher would write on the board- pure boredom.
Ryou took his notes back quickly and put them back. "No problem," Ryou whispered, "I know you will." Class began and Ryou took down good notes. He was a pleasent student who tried to do well.

Naomi was glad when lunch time came around. Class was boring and the teachers were so bossy. Then again it might have something to do with her falling asleep every now and then. She walked down to the lunch room and took a seat at a regular table where she and Ryou usually sat. In her rush that morning, she’d forgotten to pack a lunch. Her stomach had reminded her of her missed breakfast last period and now it was really going on. She glanced towards the lunch line but decided to wait until it went down. She laid her head down on the table, rolling up her sleeve a bit to look at the golden bracelet.
Yuugi walked into the cafeteria and sat down at a table. He brought his lunch and quietly munched on it as his thoughts went back to the puzzle. He didn’t get to work on it during any of his classes so maybe he could here.

Ryou packed up his books and walked to his locker to get his lunch. He never bought lunch at school, it smelt as funny as it looked- except pizza day that is, but Ryou still didn't buy it. He walked into the lunch room and scanned the room for Naomi. Once finding her, he went to the table and sat across from her. "Do you have your lunch?" he asked her as he took out his sandwich. He then looked down at her braclet, "That's a pretty looking braclet." He didn't notice it was a Millenium Item yet.
Jounochi went with Honda to the cafeteria- Miho ran off somewhere. Seeing how long the line was he grummbled to himself- he was pretty hungry. He looked around to seeing Yuugi sitting alone playing with that box of his. He sighed, when would he learn? Besides, what would other bullies do if they saw him like this? He had to teach him. He walked up to him and swiped the box, "This again? Why do you carry this thing around?"
Akiko was outside of the cafeteria doors. "Great...." she said to herself. Lunch was the absolute 'war of division'. She was dreading this, she was too nervous to ask to sit with anyone. And sitting alone was pretty bad as well, but she would do it anyway. She walked in and kept her head low- she went for the first empty table she saw. Nearly jumping into the seat, she hadn't noticed she sat a table or so away from Yuugi. Her back was turned to him, however she kind of heard Jounochi talking to him. She could hear the conversation- now that she was settled down.

Naomi smiled at Ryou as he sat down. She moved her arm that she’d been lying on so it wouldn’t be in Ryou’s way. “I forgot it at home.” she said with a sigh. Her stomach growled again. “I’ll get in line in a second.” she muttered, half to Ryou and half to her belly. When Ryou mentioned the bracelet, she rolled up her sleeve a bit more to show him. “Yeah, it’s pretty cool. I got it from Egypt when my dad and I were there.” She’d forgotten that she never showed it to him before.
The box hadn’t been sitting on the table for two seconds before Yuugi saw Jonouchi take it. “Hey! Give it back!” He stated, standing up to try and make a grab for it. He’d had the golden box for nearly eight years and had been trying to piece together the puzzle inside. He didn’t want anything to happen to it.
Honda smirked as Jonouchi took the box. “Jonouchi! Pass it over here!” he said to the blonde, holding his hands up to catch it. It was a good thing Miho wasn’t around right now – otherwise he’d have to come up with something to make it seem as though he wasn’t any part of it.

Ryou smiled at her as he took out his sandwich and split it in half. He held out the one piece to Naomi and nibbled at the other. "Egypt you say? My father got to travel there as well. He shows me all types of things he gets there. He even gave me a ring from there. Er... I'd show you but my hands are tied up," he said as he bobbed his hand with the sandwhich to give her- emphasizing for her to take it.
Joey tossed it to Honda and then looked at Yuugi. "Then punch me, punch me as hard as you can! Learn to be a man!" Jounochi told him. "Honda! Pass it over to me!" he said as if playing there own game.
Akiko vould hear an obvious bully fight. She giggled to herself when Jounochi said to 'be a man'- giggled because it was so stupid. She couldn't stand bullies, they pissed her off. She also had a hard time of keeping her mouth shut when she was pissed. "Oh yea, that's REALLY mature..." she said as she leaned back in her chair and rolled her head back to see a glimpse of Jounochi, "I mean really, you should talk. Take your own advice and grow up already." She then straightened her body out and turned to look at the situation. She noticed Yuugi, 'oh, that's the kid from this morning'.
"Huh?" Jounochi said as Akiko had gotten his attension. "Get lost, mind your own business," he said to her.

Naomi looked at the half of sandwich. She wasn’t one to take charity very often but another growl from her stomach caused her to give in. “Thanks.” she said as she took the half. She unconsciously sniffed the half before taking a small bite. It was pretty good. Her interest perked up when Ryou mentioned a ring from Egypt. “Let me see! Let me see!” She said.
Honda chuckled as he caught the box. He waited until Yuugi was nearly there before tossing it back to Jonouchi. “Here man! Catch!”
Yuugi was stuck in the middle of this tossing game. He looked at Jonouchi and shook his head. “No! I hate fighting!” he said. He turned his head when he heard a girl’s voice and noticed it was Akiko. She was sticking up for him even though she barely knew him?
Honda looked at Akiko, agreeing with what Jonouchi told her. She was like Anzu – sticking her nose into something that didn’t concern her. “Yeah, keep out.”

Ryou smiled when she took it and continued eating his half. "Ok then," he said as he unbuttoned his jacket to reveal the Millennium Ring. "This is it, it's not like a finger ring or anything," he said. Ryou liked that it was a gift from his father, yet he had no idea of the incredible evil they rested within the ring.
She let out a quick sarcastic laugh when she heard that. "Yea? Well why don't you butt out of his business? Stop acting like your better then other people- you antisocial schizoid," she snapped back at them.
Joey caught the box and chuckled a bit. He narrowed his eyes to him- he didn't know what an antisocial schizoid is, but it didn't sound good. "What's it to you?" he countered her.
"And what's it to you? To pick on someone? Do you lack that much confidence in yourself?" she said back.
Joey just sneered at her. He quickly opened the box then closed it. "Fine! Honda, let's get out of here!" he said- aggravated and feeling defeated. He slammed the box on the table in front of Yuugi and walked away.
Akiko swung herself around in her chair- seeing the two bullies stopped- she still felt aggravated. Cracking her knuckles she just stared at her food, waiting for the aggravation to evaporate from her.

Naomi took another bite of the sandwich and looked at the pendent Ryou kept under his jacket. “Wicked,” she said. “Look at those spikes – that is so cool.” She looked at the middle of the ring, seeing an eye in the center of the flat pyramid.
“That’s the Eye of Ra... or Horas.” She looked back at her bracelet and added, “My bracelet has the same symbol.”
Honda glared at the girl. This wasn’t any of her business and she had no right to butt in. “What an annoying girl,” he muttered as he and Jonouchi walked away from them. “She’s got a smart mouth.”
Yuugi watched as Honda and Jonouchi walked away and sighed. He then looked around to Akiko. She’d stuck up for him even though he was a complete stranger to her. Not many people did that.
“Uhm... thank you.” he said – he sensed she was agitated.
