Salvia chuckled. The sound was a light thing that wafted on the scented breeze and was carried away into the night. "The night is ending, young one. Even now I feel its warmth begin to make its way into my mists." She turned towards the east. Indeed a faint hint of orange could be seen on the horizon. The wind picked up a bit, sending Salvia's clouds of incense spiraling and dissipating to be replaced by new ones of new scents. The atmosphere was eerily quiet. "The birds do not sing this morning. I wonder what is troubling them?" She turned back to her two guests. Looking first at Hanabi, then back at Selia, her thin laughter filled the thick air once more. "What a host of guests I have this day! A naughty little cub and a Vrairève!" She laughed again, most amused. She she turned and began walking towards the faint sound of a river. "Join me for a drink? I thirst and a most refreshing spring is near here."

Hanabi nodded. "I will join you Ms. Salvia." She had a cheesy smile on her face as she tried to see the sun coming up, but her young eyes just couldnt point it out.

Salvia smiled down at the young one and beckoned for her to follow. She lead the way through the trees, the darkness thicker here where the faint rays of sunlight had not yet penetrated. The sound of moving water grew more and more prominent until the trees ended abruptly and the river revealed itself. The sun's rays barely kissed the clearing but allowed enough illumination to see a short waterfall that poured into a wide river. The water was clear and cool and Salvia bent to drink happily. The birds in the trees began to stir, their songs of the morning fading in and out as they darted between trees. Salvia stood once more, her thirst satiated. She looked down at the cub with a smile and nodded towards the water, encouraging the child to partake of the fresh water.
