shite, i'm working at an x-mas tree lot till 9pmjust about every night. on monday, the water in mah drink jug, which is a 1 gal. water jug, froze on top! and i didnt have a jacket, and had to ride mah bike home from there.

why are californians pussies when it comes to the cold?
i hate the "california-is-supposed-to-be-sunny-therefore-cold-weather-is-the-devil" excuse.
me, i love the cold weather. it's great. it's all chilly and refreshing outside. it's even better when it rains.

bleak_disaster why are californians pussies when it comes to the cold? i hate the "california-is-supposed-to-be-sunny-therefore-cold-weather-is-the-devil" excuse. me, i love the cold weather. it's great. it's all chilly and refreshing outside. it's even better when it rains. Because if you're in Humboldt at least, you're a pansy about all extreme weather. The temperature only changes about 25 degrees throughout the year, so you aren't used to anything below mid-30s and anything about mid-70s. Up here it's more like "Humboldt-is-supposed-to-be-covered-in-grey" excuse.

well here in Dixon, its cold mostly in the winter time but when summer hit, it gets even hotter

I don't know about all you people, but I'm sick of it being cold. I wish it would just be cold the week of Christmas and then back to CA weather.
It was really intertaining at first and I had my fire place going and all, but dang when the dog water starts to ice over it's to cold! eek

Heart~Magic I don't know about all you people, but I'm sick of it being cold. I wish it would just be cold the week of Christmas and then back to CA weather. It was really intertaining at first and I had my fire place going and all, but dang when the dog water starts to ice over it's to cold! eek Waves to Santa Thebi :: waves back :: well, here by the bay the weather changes about 80* durring the year, from sometimes over 100 in the summer to around 30 or below in the winter. and man was it windy last night at the tree lot. almost every tree fell over, two or three times before i left at 8:30..

Well, it got pretty cold, but not to the extreme. The most we ever got was frost on cars early in the morning while heading out to school. My hands would always get painfully cold though. gonk

While driving to school one day, I saw all this grass frozen up. eek Biggest surprise that week, along with some people saying they saw snow near the school.
It's been pretty cold here. My fingers and ears are freezing!

I live near Manhattan Beach, so it's not that cold compared to most places 3nodding
...But it's still cold enough for me to gain memories of the Bay Area sweatdrop

Down here in San Diego County it's been preety cold It got to the point where it was just below freezing temperature and there was frost and ice on the grass,sidewalks and streets but lately it's been warm,and it hadn't gotten that cold since but but it's been getting really cold again but we're talking record temperatures here in Vista colod and warm it's been pretty random!!!! xp xd whee sad gonk
