"I don't know a thing mama, promise," she pulled together her best "lieing" face and made a jerky nodding gesture. From this point forward she was determined to know nothing, next time..if there is a next time she's going to stay clear of their plotting schemes, they're only trouble!
"Back to bed then?" She lay down and rolled over making a whimpering sleepy baby noise.

Mleli continued to stare at Duma, very clearly suspecting her to be part of some sort of crazy conspiracy her little monsters had put together, but almost certain Duma would know better than to lie right to her face. She turned back around.
"Keep an eye on them," she muttered to Ajali, and finally stomped off to look for the four missing cubs in the Jungle.

Ajali wanted to laugh loudly at Duma's antics, she didn't think the Mleli clone was lieing, but she wasn't telling the truth exactly, at least in her oppinion. She gave A great nod to her sister and trotted over between the two sleeping cubs and curled near them.
"If they come back before you return I'll keep them here," she said reassuringly to herself, but a part of her felt they were not going to come back and that tugged string inside of her heart. Ajali had no children, and she lived through her sister in that respect, she loved her sisters children as if they were here own, after all she'd been there since their birth.
