No dressing up for moi. I sit at the door and eat candy. Ahem, or should I say pass out candy to neighborhood kids.
I dressed up for it one year...but my vampy dress & dark angel wings are buried in my closet. So not gonna bother methinks.

I can't wait ether! The atmosphere alone is intoxicating, but the trick-or-treating is where it's at! ;D can't wait to get my grubby hands on all that candy.
And, I hate to say it, but I was going to be a pirate too. D: A Spanish pirate that raped and pillaged, not the cheap jerky-making buccaneers of Florida. Anyway, Gaia makes me want to give up on that for not being original.... but I've been a fairy the last two years! I wanted to try something different.

I don't go out for Halloween anymore. It's not because I feel I'm too old, but rather my goddess (or someone up there XD) doesn't want me to. I figured this out when I was sixteen and I went out with my dad (my mother is totally paranoid about my going out alone). I went up some concrete stairs, got my candy, and turned around. One second, I was standing on the porch looking at my father, who was waiting on the street for me. The next, I was on the ground with a horrendous pain in my left leg.
I was wearing an ankle-length black skirt as part of my costume, as well as a pair of sensible, one-inch heel school shoes, and everyone thinks I just tripped. I swear I didn't, though. I don't even remember falling. It was really strange. I'm always careful about going down stairs, holding onto the rail and watching my feet. But that time... *shakes head* it was bang, and I was on the ground, crying, while the woman at the door and my father both ran over to me.
I definitely remember the pain, however - I nearly broke my leg. I ended up with this enormous bump on my leg, just below my knee, that was bigger than the size of an egg. It was all black and blue and swollen, and I couldn't walk without pain for over a week. It was over six months before I could kneel without wincing, and even now, two years later, I can still feel a little chip in the bone where the bruise was.
So, yes. I got the message the year. I now spend my Halloweens stealing candy from the trick-or-treaters bowl and hiding out on Gaia. XD

I'm going trick-or-treating this year. It feels weird going, but I like free candy... and a chance to scare people. twisted
I'm going as the Mad Hatter, my bf is going as the March Hare, and my buddy is going as Alice. But it's like an evil, demented, Alice. xD
