Ok, that proposing thing is definitly odd. Beware him pressuring you into other things...and don't get caught up in his words...there are guys out there that are very fickle and like to pretend they are in love with whoever they are going out with. My ex wants to marry his girlfriend and its only been three months....he also said he loved me...I found out later that he was dating both of us at the same time....don't trust it when they say it too soon. They more often then not don't truly mean it.

I've known this guy for about two years, been his best friend for a year and dated him for almost 4 months now. I know when he's telling the truth. He definitely is serious about this-more serious than I've ever seen him about anything in his life. It's kind of flattering, but scary.

Just say, "You're way off for marriage." It will show him that gently that he's making a mistake in proposing this soon.
