I always knock.. That's just what everybody did in my house. Then again, every door had a lock in my old house. I've snapped at my friend's little sister for not knocking. Every time I go over there, I need to remind her and tell her why it's a bad idea to barge in. She started to open the bathroom door once when I had just gotten out of the shower. I later felt bad for getting mad at her, because she just wanted me to get her something to eat (she was five). But still.. Knocking isn't going to kill somebody. sweatdrop
I've accidentally walked in on my sister before (I knocked and didn't hear her say "Wait a sec."). I haven't had that happen to me, though. I'd rather not have people have to learn from mistake.
I'm just the kind of person who locks the bathroom door even when I'm the only one home. confused toxic valentine [OMFG NEW HELL'S KITCHEN WHAT?!]
...
Last night when i was drifting off i had one of those falling dreams, except it was only my right foot that was falling. Someone told me that when you have those dreams you're actually levitating just a tiny bit. I dunno if that's true, but it sure felt like that's exactly what my foot was doing. o.o [/random] Well, it's not really Hell's Kitchen. It's the series where Chef Ramsey goes around saving all these horrible restaurants. I can't think of the name of it.. D:
I've had dreams like that, too.. I heard that when you wake up with a jolt like that, you were astral projecting and fell back into your body (if you believe in that kind of thing, anyway). I hate waking up like that and wondering if I really twitched or not.

Um...let me see. Every night, before I go to sleep, I make my bed. Even if it's already made. I sleep in my undies and a tank top, because it's hot now. In a couple months I'm going to have to sleep in my thermals. :S
I brush my teeth three times. I wait almost exactly thirteen minutes between each brushing. I sleep with my hair loose. I can only sleep if every door in the room is closed. I always have to listen to a good song before I go to sleep.
I used to read myself to sleep, but I'm too tired at bedtime to that anymore.
And...I think that's it. Everything else is lame, boring and exceedingly OCD.

Oh, yeah i wanted to see that! Forgot all about it...
My mom totally had an out-of-body experience once [or so she says]. I think it can happen. Not often, of course. [That's what you meant by astral projecting, right? Lol.]

Sailor_Chibi Grin Evilly Grin Evilly says: For me, it has to be completely dark for me to be able to fall asleep. <33
Oooh, me too. If the slightest bit of light is in the room, it drives me insane. I even have to cover the glowing numbers on my alarm clock with a stuffed animal (I don't care what you say, they're bright). Sometimes I fall asleep with a piece of cloth over my eyes for 'total darkness'. It's strange, because when I was younger, I used to need a night-light to sleep. confused Odd how we change when we get older.
Haha, I can completely agree with everything you just said.

With the way my life is going, I just plop right into bed and Xp. I don't like lights though, and usually I just snuggle a bit with my blanket before I am comfortable, I'm kinda like a kitty, lol. 3nodding

Well, I completely agree with you about the door thing, lol. I absolutely cannot fall asleep when my closet doors are open. It just freaks me out. I also have to have my door shut at night. I don't know why. I just cannot have it open.

It usually takes me awhile to fall asleep. I do dance, so usually I fall asleep in seat or something. Whatever I throw on after a shower. I have t close my closet doors, my own door, and leave tv on, or I freak out. I can be completely passed out, and wake up fully when someone turns off a light or something. It completely freaks me out and I panic. >.< I sleep like a cat, curled up under a pile of covers, or on-top of them all.

For me, I prefer to have some light in my room. Curtisy of my damned alarm clock. It's bright enough that I can see and still sleep.
But yes, my doors must be closed. It scares me to have them open.
And I need to be in a confined space. I despise sleeping in large rooms or in a big bed by myself. I like to be able to lean against something. And my back has to face the wall/person. So I know what's behind me.

I kissed thee ere I k i l l e d thee, no way but this, ... I often get distracted when I go to bed to go to bed and stay up later.
If my girlfriend is with me, I usually fall asleep right away, only to wake up two hours later getting frisky >_> ..
I work nights though, so during the week, I go pick up my kids, go home, make myself comfy, thinking I'm going to watch a movie with my kids.. and pass out with my cat in my lap.
HOWEVER, I'm a heavy sleeper, but I see and hear everything that happens in my vicinity while I sleep. Also, anytime I need to move while I'm sleeping, I wake up for, then move, then fall back to sleep.
I started doing that last bit after I had my daughter. I was afraid of squishing my baby in my sleep while she slept with me.
... killing myself, to die upon a k i s s.
