Berry had to try to catch waves that would go in & out of the main water so that she could continue to breathe. The problems of not being evolved like her folks yet. Surfing was a rush though, and she loved the thrill of it. While surfing her face took on a glow and all her thoughts seemed to fade behind the rush of the present excitement. Between waves... A slight frown would mar her otherwise pleasant features. Huh. Her thoughts were disorienting. So Breeze could have a mate & frys and still surf? Well maybe that worked for her. Berrymae supposed that was cool. It seemed Breeze was cool with it... why should it affect Berry so/ Because she'd decided some time a ago a mate would get in her way & now was dealing with hearing one might not? It's not like it was a big deal. Was it? She hoped on another wave. Clear her head again.

Breeze went in an out of the waves, she loved it. Even tho she could stay out of the waves longer because she was evolved she still loved cutting the waves and the water splashing up around her.

Oh yeah! This was great!! Berry cut in & out of the waves, sometimes staying out of the water too long for the rush lack of oxygen gave her. Probably not the safest thing, but oh well! She glanced at the evolved surfer, who was much better at surfing than she was. No wonder she'd been at a competition. Berry wondered who had won. Maybe she could do some competitions. Maybe she wouldn't win... but it would be a heck of a learning experience & likely quite the rush.
Competition. Mate. Kids. Gaaaah! The berry colored female swung her board around hard, swimming fast into the next wave.

Breeze smiled as she watch the expressions on Berry's face. She could tell she was conflicted by what she had said. Breeze could never read faces before she had children and now she had 4 new little ones to take care of. She was truly happy.

It would be an easy thing to read Berrymae -it wasn't as if the extreme seeking clownfish ever tried to hide her emotions. She wore them on her figurative sleeve, even when trying to not pay attention to them herself. She was in no way an actress. That had never been a thrill she sought.
But the thought didn't quite leave her as she cut through the wave, slicing her board back and forth. Well maybe if the dude was really cool... Nah. No one was that cool. Friends maybe. Yeah. That was cool.
Then she almost stuffed herself in a barrel, thinking about Breeze & her mate again. The evolved surfer seemed so cool. How was it possible she was a mother? But then Berrymae was accustomed to her own parents, whose lives revolved around each other & their family integrated with caring for their tankmates as well. It was like another world to her.
