He gave a nod, "Then I will stay a while longer." Really he would rather stay here then go home anyway, not much there to do at the moment aside from sleep anyway. Better to keep Chath company he thought and in turn have company that wasn't his brother who was acting in an almost stalker sort of way. He was starting to think Ter didn't believe he could take care of himself in his current condition.
Ligeia gave a smile, "That is awfully nice of you to offer but I think they are alright for the moment, so long as they stay covered they won't risk anyone getting hurt. Thank you though." Maybe he could ask his father to do it when he got home? Orpheus was the one that helped him trim them when he was really little after all.

Happy to hear that his boyfriend would remain at his side he winced slightly as he tried to wiggle a bit to give the boy more room. The wound the doctors had said had healed up nicely, but he would be sore for a long while as the muscle regrew.
He wished geia would feel more comfortable with his claws...but he couldn't push Geia into that, he didn't want to force him to do anything he wasn't comfortable with.
"Ah, the doctors say I will be able to regrow my arm...do you really think that is possible? I mean...real newts may be able to...but...I am partly human...I don't know if the same rules apply." He said sounding very doubtful that his regeneration skills could go to that level of bone and muscle regrowth.

"Regrow your arm?" Ligeia turned to look at the place where Chath's arm used to be while he considered his boyfriend's words, "That would be amazing to be able to do so." He murmured, then gave a bright smile, "I bet you can do it. You have healed injuries before right? Like when Keir claws your leg, it fixed itself up quite nicely."
Imagine being able to do something that amazing? To fix such a bad injury by just regrowing the lost limb? The owl seemed quite in awe.

Chath nodded his head. It would be amazing to have his arm back, he certainly couldn't imagine a life time without his right arm.
"Well...yes I have healed more serious injuries...but...i dunno. Regrowing bone? It sounds...like something only a magician could do." he said with another weak laugh.
"not to mention painful..." he trailed off.

The owl gave a smile, "Then its a good thing that your one of those right?" He said, referring to the fact that Chath could in fact cast magic. His gaze went for a moment to his hand and he found himself flexing it a bit, the wondered if that was what Chath had meant when he asked about hurting his hands. He then wrote it off as being impossible, he couldn't have known about that after all.
His eyes widened a little bit, then he tilted his head to the side, "Its painful for you?" He asked of the newt, he'd never thought of healing as being something painful before. He looked a little bit worried now.

Chath shook his head, it hurt but it was more of a numb sort of pain. It was there but you got use to it after a while.
"Ah not serious enough to keep me in the hospital forever." he said with another smile, "I am getting agitated just opening my eyes to this same bland atmosphere day after day. The doctors said they would release me soon...wish it was today though. It would be nice to leave with you." he said giving the owl a playful poke in the leg.
"Ah well ....I am not that good a magician...i was refering to that book series about the wizard school...didn't they have some potion or something that regrew bone?" he asked as he hadn't actually read the series just bits and pieces of it he caught on television.

"I understand completely." He'd only been in the hospital over night for observation and that had been enough to make him get a bit homesick. Not to mention there seemed to be very little to do in this place. He gave a squeak at the poke to his leg and lifted his hand to poke Chath back, "Well I would offer to sneak you out of here but I doubt either of us are in the right condition for sneaking."
Though being in a hospital they did sort of blend in with the in with their bandages, a sort of linen cloth camouflage.
Ligeia looked rather interesting in the books that Chath was talking about but couldn't recall reading them himself, he didn't often read fiction because he was always spending his money on magic books...
"That would be a useful sort of potion." He said to himself, imagine something that could regrow bones for you, "Guess you will have to rely on your own power though huh?" It was a shame the potion was fiction or Geia would try to get a hold of one for Chath.

Chath was glad that Ligeia could understand the boredom he was experiencing being in this room day after day. His mom would bring him magazines but not being a avid reader in the first place it became dull very quickly. He gave a small laugh at the mental image of both Geia and himself trying to sneak out of the hospital in their current conditions.
"Yah I don't think we would get far. And I am not about to jump out the window. I may survive the fall but that would mean more hospital time for me. And I have had enough of that already." he said with smirk.
"Yes the potion would be useful, though I think it would be better to just adjust and rely on ones self. " he agreed with the owl with a nod of his head. "I am still doubtful on the aspect of having my arm back despite the fact every technician keeps telling me it will grow back. It just seems...unreal to me. " he concluded his doubts on the fact that his own nature would see him through this and with a new arms in so many months.

The owl gave a nod and a bit of a grin, "Yeah, I guess for now that means you just have to try to make due with me as entertainment." He said, "I will visit when I can so that your not to lonely. I could bring you some books to read though... they may not exactly be the most amusing things." Some of his books were a bit technical, others were in different languages and one needed a second book to help with translating them, and a whole lot of other things to make a turn off for many people.
"Or maybe you can just put in a request and I can bring in things you want?" That may be better. He gave a little flap of his good wing, "Yeah, guess healing will take more time on ones own but I think your right on. I bet we will be back to ourselves in no time."
Well... no time or months, however long the healing would take that was.

Happy to hear that he would be seeing more of the owl he leaned against him happily. "Well actually I want you to choose something you really like to read, and i want to try and read it to." he said looking up at Geia. He wanted to know more about the owls likes and dislikes. He wanted more solid footing on where they were going in their relationship, though it seemed too early to really be worried about that sort of thing.
"If you see Keir can you tell him I am sorry? I wasn't able to do anything in that fight...he must be really disappointed in me." he trailed off sounding a bit depressed about it.

Ligeia gave a smile and a nod, "Alright, I can bring you something interesting then the next time I visit." He agreed, seeming quite happy that Chath wanted to read some of the books that he liked. He only hoped that the newt didn't regret it later...
Listening closely to his word the owl gave a little nod before he gave Chath a careful and rather creative sort of hug that made use of his good arm and good wing, "I am sure he's not disappointed. Maybe he will even be happy to see you up and about when you two can see each other again?" He had no idea if that were true as black dragons were so... hard to understand. He was to used to Vorel he supposed.

Chath gave a sigh, he wasn't so sure about Geia's postitive words about Keir. The black tended to hate weakness, and the sheer fact he was taken out of the action before being able to do anything productive seemed like a weak thing to have happened.
"I dunno...Keir is...Keir." He wondered how long it would be before he got to see his dragon again. There was silence for a bit while Chath thought on it.
"Hey Vorel came out alright didn't he?" He asked suddenly wondered if Geia's frist managed to make it out unharmed.
"What about your brother? Did he get hurt?" he asked again his worry evident.

Ligeia looked a little unsure for a moment before he spoke, "Vorel is... unharmed. I think though that is the worst injury he could have gotten." He told the newt, "I was hurt and so were you and Keir, his coming out uninjured has his feeling... guilty."
It was a strange thing to try to explain but it was how the dragon was feeling, he felt as if he'd not done his job. He wasn't able to protect Ligeia or his friend Keir, "He wants to visit with Keir but he doesn't think the black will want to see him after..." He trailed off and shook his head. He didn't want to worry Chath, shouldn't be saying all this when the other just needed to concentrate on getting better.
"Ter seems fine, a couple of acid burns from when it was dripping off the ceiling but it isn't enough to keep him down." He said, giving a smile, "Though I wonder if he got a hit on the head as hes been strangely nice to me."

Chath listened and nodded his head, he supposed he would feel guilty too if he had come out unharmed during all this while everyone else sustained some injuries even if they were minor.
"I am sure he will perk up once this whole mess blows over." he reassured the owl with a squeeze on his only hand to the owls good hand. "And Keir will probably be sour if he got injured. He doesn't like loosing a fight. Or challenge for that matter.." He murmured thinking on Keir made him antsy. Would the black return back to that foul tempered anti-social dragon he had when he first got him? He certainly hoped not. . . it took this long for the dragon to finally warm up to him...somewhat.
He was glad that Ter was okay, he wouldn't bother Geia with more questions about casualties though he was curious on how Zyan and her dragon made out. He wouldn't be surprised if she went in barrels lock and loaded so to speak.
Shifting on the spot he yawned. "Once I am out of here I swear I will run around the compound like three times...I hate being in one spot this long..." he complained with a smile.

"I hope so, I don't want him dwelling on it, he did his best right?" He murmured, then squeezed Chath's hand back. He wanted to believe that Vorel would perk back up, he would just have to bring him to the park so that he could go swimming and eat a few random animals. Things would be better then surely?
"Are you not allowed to get up at all?" Ligeia asked curiously, given the injury that Chath had gotten it made sense that they would try to keep him still. So that he didn't risk reopening such a wound. Still to be stuck in one spot constantly seemed like it would in fact try a person batty. Especially a more physical person.
