Boma was shocked at Amadet's shock and at first was at a loss for words, it seemed impossible for someone to share a marking with another and not know them..but Mtima could have siblings or past lives of lovers, that's all a possibility.
"I did not mean to seem so..well so harsh, I know her, not well, but we are close in a way that would seem odd. She was around when I was well 'born' to this world." What had Mtima'safi's past? She ws curious now, and she probably would never ask Mtima especially since Mtima had not mentioned leaving someone before.
"To get your answers, why don't you go to her? She'll have the answers, you have never seen her though? You did not know you look so much like her? I don't mean to pry, but what was Mtima to you? Was she a god or a lioness?"

Amadet didn't know what to think or what to say. The hidden resentment was only hidden from the long years of practice with her perfect sister being around. This goddess knew Mtima'safi, they were friends, Mtima'safi had witnessed her birth. How odd it was to hear these stories, so different and more personal than any of the tales her pride had told. Had this all happened since the division? This is what she was up to? Where were the other two?
It became harder to hold back the emotions she was going through with this knowledge. But she swallowed hard, managing the focus on only what Boma'burudi had to ask her.
"Go to see her? Where would I find her?" she asked, barely holding back a laugh at the idea of going to see her. Was it possible for a mortal to seek out and actually find a goddess? She seemed to ignore the question about what Mtima was to her, though only because her attention was on something else.

"The Pride lands with her family, I would imagine," she answered without hesitation. The thought of Mtima and Wahabu brought a smile to her face. They were the only ones out of the family she'd met and they were lovely in deed, she couldn't help but think that her life would never be like that, she could not stand the thought of seeing her family die away, "She has a mortal family, a son Wahabu and a mate, and of course..well she has a daughter I believe I've never heard much about that one."
"She's yellow with wings like mine, and a heart around her neck, but also..she's got purple. If that helps you find her anyways."

"The Pridelands," Amadet repeated in amazement, wondering for a moment if the goddess had abandoned them for another pride. Before too many questions rumbled through her mind about this 'family' she was with (her brothers?), Boma explained about the mortal family that the goddess now had. It was surprising, to say the least, for Amadet to hear that Mtima'safi had gone off to have her own little mortal family.
"A goddess with a mortal family?" she asked, thinking through the idea. Had anyone in the pride known it was possible, they certainly would have tried it, asked the gods for cubs.. more perfect cubs like the perfect princess, Amoret. Such cubs would have been perfect, with or without all those silly markings that Amoret had. Why, if she was the daughter of one of the gods, she would not have been turned away. But that was impossible..
Impossible for her to be a daughter, but..
"The pridelands with her family," Amadet said finally, sounding more decisive, and bowing to the goddess before her, "Thank you, Boma'burudi. I believe I will go find her.."

"I have had two mortal families, there is something to be said for the sweetness of mortals," she answered Amadet's questioning calmly and added, "Try the pride lands, and if that doesn't work I'll be around. It's easy to track us down once you know where to look."
She thought for a moment about saying good bye but thought that everything had been said, hoping that she had done a good thing Boma's mind turned back to the dancing reflection and light of her gems, and essentially dismissed Amadet with a nod of her head and she started to continue on her way.

Amadet looked at Boma curiously at the mention of two mortal families, wondering why immortals would do such a thing- and how she could not have known about it before. She would try the Pridelands, see what she would see.. confrontation was on her mind, asking why they were abandoned, what happened, why Amoret got to be so special. But there was another small idea in the back of her mind, too. She never got another word out before Boma dismissed her and went back off to watching the reflections of the light.
She would go to the Pridelands. What happened, well, she would decide when she arrived.
