Ahh, my Smallville is back. Everything in the world is right again.
I got to watch it at a friends house.
I DO want to know who dragged Lionel out of the water and why Lara was IN the water. Loved her, by the way. I don't mind them not showing her much tonight, we'll get a whole lot more of her later on.
Lex was... Well, Lex. And Bizarro was right. Redemption doesn't suit him.
And if Lana is trying to lay low... That blond wig just makes her stand out even more. xp

This episode was phenomenal. Maybe even the best season premier yet!
I only had one problem and that was the final battle between Clark and Bizarro. <.< Only two punches where exchanged through out the entire battle.
>.< Seeing Bizarro and Lex togeather makes me want to see a Legion of Doom all the more now.

I loved the premire...it was awsome. Best premire in my opinion next to the premire of season 3.

Idk I liked it actually. Sure it wasn't the best episode of the century but come on. There was no Lana! Maybe it is because I have been deprived and I was so expecting it to be terrible that I was surprised that it didn't suck.
I think I know who kidnapped Lionel. Not that I'm going to spoil it. And Lana, sorry but blond doesn't work for you and that scene was soooooooo fake.
Is it just me or when Clark was searching for Lionel, it sounded like he said Lana? confused
Lois is totally awesome. I didn't like that they didn't show Lois and Chloe's reunion.
I pretty sure I'm the only one here that actually cares for Lex. He's not that evil yet! I mean he actually has some remorse and is genuinely sad that Lana is gone... unlike Lex in Superman Doomsday where he just shoots Mercy. stare
I for one am happy that Kara didn't get a lot of screen time in this episode. I didn't want her saving Clark from beating Bizarro. Though, Clark acting like Mario twice during the show doesn't make me all that happy.
Overall I think it was pretty good. I mean Clark wasn't all. Lana is gone!!! I can't go on!!!

I must say that I loved that quote.
As for the episode, LOVED it... eek Which shocks even me considering that I haven't seen a good premiere episode in who knows how many seasons.
It's always harder to also type up a comment when the episode is that good. Lol.
Overall, great episode. Sure there were a few minor things, all of which have been mentioned. Including them not showing Lois and Chloe's reunion, Lana standing out with that wig when she should be laying low, the short fight between Clark and Bizarro and the significance of the scene at the mansion with Lois and Bizarro- it wasn't needed.
When all is said though, the bottom line is SMALLVILLE IS BACK!!! 4laugh

Of course Bizzaro isn't dead; he's on the sunny side of Mars. 9_9I suspect that's where Martian Manhunter took him after Clark gave him a super uppercut.

ok here goes my analysis-
clark vaporizing the flood= the bomb cool
they redid the theme song clips, added aaron & laura. i'm loving it! :]
kara's first appearance underwater was excellently filmed! she looked gorgeous!
ok discontinuity issues here- the little boy who was possessed finds lois, then he disappears stare why did they bring him back in the first place then?!
lionel was dragged off...WHY and by WHOM?
bizarro was HOT heart he was totally working the jerk-act 3nodding
and the shirtless barn scene! mrgreen enough said...:]
chloe dying was a bit over-dramatic but it was entertaining xP
BIZ & LOIS SCENE! omg, loved it! rofl i laughed my head off xD
the martian man-hunter was a pretty cool touch.
clark & biz fight was satisfactory, i enjoyed it. :]
chloe avoiding her power subject? i wonder why...
haha "if you ever touch my a** again, your head is going down with me"
classic lois line <3
felt sympathetic towrds lex, he does have some decency left in him D;
lana's in china? rofl yea that wig isnt working for you hun` sweatdrop
the off-target clana scene was nice...

tom's acting was fabulous in this episode heart especially as bizarro, although clark was awesome as well :3

Great premiere I thought. A LOT better then last seasons premiere!
They could have had more fight scenes... I'm glad too that Kara had a little screen.
Hehe I loved Lex in this episode. And I agree with Saber. Lex isn't THAT evil. I mean "I will never help you kill Clark." But then he does and by the end he betrays Bizarro! Good stuff.
Anyways so far it seems like a good start I'm hoping the next one will be better though.

The scene with Lois and Bizarro was priceless -- although, if you saw the Director's Cut, they changed it and I liked it a lot better. And, Bizarro, "How can a guy miss what's been right in front of him all this time?" That's what I want to know.Lois was rocking this whole episode. She was saving Chloe, she was breaking down at the hospital, she was determined to find out if Lex had done something to Chloe so she could help -- she was just incredible, it was awesome. Lex annoyed me. First of all, look at the way he treated Lana last season between hijacking her body and screwing around with her mind, and also think about the way he was acting in "Prototype" when he was sending all those soldiers to their deaths... I'm with Bizarro here -- redemption DOESN'T suit him, and frankly it's too late to decide you want to be good. Can we consistently show some character development here? SaberFireTiger Is it just me or when Clark was searching for Lionel, it sounded like he said Lana? confused Sounded like 'Lyle', and I was like "wtf, who is Lyle?"

I'm pretty sure I have selective perception when it comes to Lex. If he does something bad, my excuse for him is that "he is Lex Luthor." But I think the whole fake pregnancy was the worst flippin idea ever. I mean you can't go around the bend having every character who hates Lex say "he wouldn't do that to Lana because he loves her" and then completely mess it up. Anyways, at that time, he wouldn't have any reason to so desperately inject hormones into her.
I didn't blame him for slapping her though. I mean you can't say that to Lex frickin Luthor without expecting some rage.
I guess this life death experience did something for him.

I did kind of like the parallel between Kara saving Lex from underwater and Clark saving Lex from underwater. Even so, he's way past the point of no return here and it's too late for him to go "I want to reform".
Note, he's turning himself in for the murder of Lana (which we're pretty sure he didn't do) but not for all the people he killed in "Prototype" or the experiments he was doing at Belle Reve -- so this is all complete bullshit.
