Gojyo continued forward, wondering how long it would take to find the little brat. He paused for a moment when he heard rustling not too far away from him. It seemed to be going around him, his ear closest to the noise following it.
When it stopped, he remained where he was, but carefully peered behind him, making sure it didn't seem like he was. He wasn't too sure, but there seemed to be something off on the forest floor. With a slight smirk, he continued ahead, calling the boy's name once again.

Haya smirked and slunk onwards. Grown-ups didn't notice anything. He bet that he could get close enough to tug the stallion's tail before he even noticed anything!
It was a little strange that the stallion seemed to be looking for him. Had his mother recruited him for the task? That made Haya want to play a trick on him even more. He skittered ahead a little faster, closing the distance between himself and the stranger.

The stallion knew that the foal was behind him, but he didn't show any sign of such. Stopping, he glanced into a bush for a moment and looked around. Not seeing anything, he pulled his head back out from it and looked around, but making it look that he didn't see a distinct yellow figure in the corner of his eye.
He let the colt skitter a bit closer to him, smirking to himself as he did. Finally when the boy was close enough, he turned his head quickly to look at him and exclaimed. "What do you think you're doing boy?!"

Haya had been moving so fast, so low to the ground, that when the stallion surprised him he had to splay his legs wide to keep from falling over. How had the stallion known he was coming? He had seemed so clueless just a moment earlier.
He straightened up with an embarrassed glare. "What do you think you're doing?" he quipped back.

Gojyo chuckled and smirked when he saw that he caught the foal off-guard. Straightening himself out, he glanced down to the colt, unphazed by the glare, flicking his tail lightly. Now that he found the boy, he started to head back to where Vara said to meet her.
"Mommy-dearest is looking for you. You know... gotta know where their lovelies are and if they're okay. C'mon."

"Lovlies?" Haya watched the strange stallion skeptically. He had one of those strange horns like Vis. Maybe that meant he was fun too? So far he just seemed like another boring adult dragging him back to mother.
"I don't want to go back. It's boring with her."

"I'm sure it is kid, but I'm not the one you should take that up with." He told the colt, stopping and looking back to him, mostly to see if he was following... which he had doubted he would in the first place.
He sighed some. "Listen kid... if it was up to me, I would let you roam around as much as you want... but mother's like to know where their kids are, especially first time mothers."

"Sooooooooo?" Haya let the word draw out and stuck his tongue out at the end of it for good measure. "You're not my dad. I don't even know you. I'm not going anywhere with you!" Unless he seemed like he was going somewhere interesting, that is. Haya wasn't about to follow anyone back to his mother but following them off on an adventure sounded a lot more fun!
The clothes that he wore were interesting, at least. Haya found himself staring at them, wondering why he dressed like a strange two-legger. Maybe the stallion would tell him, if he wasn't too busy lecturing.

Gojyo snorted, this was one of the reasons why he hated kids. He walked back to the foal and brought his head down to the colt's level. "Listen... you're coming with me whether you like it or not. Just let your mom know you're alive... I could give a rat's @$% what you do afterward."
He had noticed that the colt was staring, but couldn't care less. He wasn't here to entertain the boy... well, unless that's what the pretty mare wanted. Seeing as how that was not the case though, he wasn't going to start performing tricks to appease him.

Haya's gray eyes blinked with shock. Not even his mother had ever spoken to him like that, even after some of his more annoying pranks and disappearances. This unicorn had none of Vis' open playfulness. He opened his mouth to give a sharp retort but it only hung there open. He finally shut it with a snap, giving the stallion a glare and turned around, stalking back in the direction he had come from.
"Fine. I'm going."

He let the colt walk ahead of him a small distance before following after, so he could keep a better eye out on him. "I knew you would see things my way."
As they walked, his red eyes scanned over the foal in front of him. He looked like a regular soquili... besides that tail. If he remembered correctly, the spaded tail usually belonged to kalonas... but his mother was normal. This began to make the stallion curious. "So... you're a half-breed, huh?"

"Half-breed?" The word made Haya stop in his tracks and look over his shoulder at the strange unicorn. "What's that supposed to mean?" The image that came to mind was a soquili running in circles with only it's front half. That was pretty funny but he didn't see how Gojyo could miss that he was whole. It had to mean something else, some adult word that his mother probably didn't want him to know. The secrecy of it made it interesting and desirable, so Hayagriva smirked proudly with his reply.
"Yeah, I'm a half-breed!"

Gojyo stopped when the colt did, wanting to keep him in sight just in case he tried something funny. His tail giving a flick, he watched the boy think over his question. The uni was about to answer the question that was posed to him, but it seemed that it was quickly solved after it was asked.
Watching Haya, he had to tilt his head at how proud he seemed to be about admiting to be a half breed. He's proud of this fact? He then shrugged it off and figured he mustn't have been teased about it. "So, you're okay with this fact?"

Was he okay with it? Haya decided that a half-breed must be something really wicked to merit that sort of question. He couldn't resist a bit of wickedness so responded with an even wider grin.
"Yeah! I'm the biggest half-breed around!"
Already his mind was imagining various meanings for the word. Maybe it meant that he was incredibly dangerous, or strong!

Gojyo quirked a brow at the foals response. Figures... he doesn't even know what it is. He thought. So with a shrug, he just played along. "Oh really now? You must be the big stallion around your herd because of that, ne?" He asked with a small chuckle and smirk.
