Charity laughed and said,"Because! As humans, we need a place to live, so we built a house. We can't have my entire family live out here, specially Mom with all her cuts and bruises. It wouldn't be good for her."
She gave the boy a smile and said,"So, you live out here all alone?"

"Not all humans live in a house, and not all humans can afford a house. Like me, I like to live in the wild, because it is peaceful." Waiting for a second before he responded to her. "I am skilled in the way of magic, I can help heal your mother if you wish." Looking at the smile that Charity was giving him, and wondered why she was smiling at him. "Yes, I do live all by my self. It is nice not having anyone to tell you what to do, where to go, how to do stuff. And, it is peaceful when you need to escape the civilized life."

Charity laughed and said,"Well, you can live where you want, but I like having a roof over my head. Besides, magic? You have GOT to be kidding me! Even if it was real, it wouldn't help to heal my Mom. She'd just get hurt again whenever Dad returned from work."
She looked down sadly and added,"I'll be the one to help Mom one day... I know that Constantine will help me if I asked him to, but I want to be the one to save her."

Jessica walked down a dusty path in the dense forest in front of her house.
Her parents were gone as usual, but she didn't mind.
It gave her time to just...relax.
It was....((im just gunna go on a limb and say)) close to dusk and the sky turned into a light lavender color.
"My favorite..."
She thought, referring to the color of the sky.
After a few minutes of walking, she came across the exit of the forest to find two people there.

Rowan panted as he slowed down. He was far from the town now, the forest lay to his right. Up ahead there were two people speaking. Should he speak to them?
Unsure of himself, Rowan crept into the woods and continued to walk parallel to the road, but tried to stay out of sight.

((Sorry for the wait. I was eating XD))
"You don't believe in magic?" He said with a surprised voice. "How about then I show you?" Taking his sword out he cut his arm deep, then placed the sword back. "watch..." He placed his hand over the cut, and muttered a few words. His hand had started to glow a light blue, and his wound started to slowly heal. After a few seconds he raised his arm so she could see. "See? Now, the wound is gone. Healing is one of the most useful abilities that anyone could use." Looking at his arm, and rubbed it for a few seconds. "But the pain is still there for a little bit. Now, I can help you, or you can help her your self if you like." Then looking behind him a second, then back to Charity. "If your father is really that bad, then why don't you let the law enforcement know about it?"

Charity clapped and said,"Wow! That was cool!"
She walked over and ran a hand over the area where the wound once was and looked up at his comment on her father.
"You don't understand... Father's high ranking in the police... He can't get put into jail because he'll just pay off his officers or sweet talk his way out again and then beat Mom harder than ever. I have to find another way to help her..."
She took her hand back and held it close to her heart.

Jessica looked back up at the sky.
A gentle breeze ruffled her long blond hair and made her grin.
"It's a lovely day."
If only it would stay that way...Maybe her parents won't be home soon.
A twig snapped under her foot that made her snap back to reality just as she bumped into the girl near the forest exit.
"Oh, gosh. I'm soooo sorry!"
She said as she stared up from the ground.
"I-I guess I didn't see where I was going."
She mumbled as blushed a bit.

Feeling Charity touch his arm, he felt something different. Once she moved her hand away, he started to talk again. "Then can't you just move to another town? And not let your father know where you live? No one should treat a women like that though." He said as he saw her bring her hands to her heart, not knowing what to do, he brought his hands up to her face, and held her face gently in his hands. "I can help if you let me. I can protect you as well if he does anything. I will protect anyone that needs it." He said in a calm voice.

She heard the snap of a twig and looked out of the corner of her eye.

"I don't have to kill him, I can just protect you. Even is she wasn't that loyal to him, she shouldn't be beat." He said as she said that there was a girl there. Turning to her and bowing like before. "I am Valkery, you can call me Valk if you like. What would you be doing out here?" He asked as he stood back up.
