His eyes widened as he chuckled to himself. Why, Auma was certainly full of surprises, but, it wasnt to say that Auma wasn't having second thoughts.
He quirked his eyebrow, and in an effort to lighten her mood, he said, "Ease up. I wouldn't take a mare such as yourself for a month or something. Why, I even believe that you'll be back here, safe and intact by the end of the day." He advised. After all, it would be beneficial on both sides. Auma would be with her family, and he wouldnt have a tagalong on his journey. Mushu was enough. ".. and I dont think you have to inform your family. After all you've already disappeared, to look for coyotes?" It was phrased as a question, but moreso a statement. "An hour, or a day, wont make a difference if your already gone." There was a wry tension about him, as he gave a charming grin to Auma. "Right?"
"Now, where would you like to go? Its your day out after all." His tail swayed about him, in enjoyment, and his demeanor almost belied a childish side to him. "Is there anywhere you've wanted to visit? See? As long as it isnt too far, I wont have any complaints."

She looks slightly whistful. "The ocean ... I've heard of it, from my brother, but never seen it." And maybe if they journey that-aways they would meet up with Orlando, and she'd better understand why her sibling chose to live there with his new adopted family. She finds the concept of so much water mind-boggling; she's seen lakes, but not large ones. The concept of an expanse of water that goes on for so long that one never sees the other side is ... well, amazing, and she's rather skeptical about it, even though she's had it on several reliable sources that it does, in fact, exist.
She wasn't certain this was a good idea, at all; to be wandering off with what is, in fact, a complete stranger. She rarely makes reckless decisions, and so she feels rather wrong-footed ... but his comments have rankled and touched a nerve.
"Is that somewhere we can reach in a day?" Possibly; how would she know? She's not been far out of the area since she was born. "And oh; they'll be fine," she says, referring to her family, and speaking with much more confidence than she feels. If she doesn't show up in a day or two, Ro will probably have kittens, but the guilt from this thought is rather minor. "They won't miss me. After all, like you said, I do disappear for other things." She stops before she can feel like she's babbling too much, and shakes herself, trying to look as if his charming smile wasn't affecting her. And it wasn't. No. Sure, he was cute, but she didn't even know him at all. Right? Right. "Or if there's someplace else you think would be neat to see ... I'm open to suggestions?"

"Your a odd mare. You suggest the ocean, but you still open yourself to other suggestions. Much better than I am." He said thoughtfully. If he decided on anything, the decision would be permanent. But that was why he didn't make decisions, of course! "But I like a mare with quirks. Makes it so much more interesting than a mare without. But since my aim is to please, and teach you about the outside world, I'll take you up on that offer." He was referring to the oceans, as he looked into the distance. It would be a while to walk, but they could make good distance.
He turned back to Auma in time to catch her shaking herself. 'From what?' He asked himself, smiling in amusement. Her naivety was a charming part of her, but he couldn't believe he was offering to take her out somewhere. Well, this was a first. But it was another first to meet a mare that hadn't already seen at least part of the world, and stayed with her family. He reasoned that it must have been because of that.
"I'd hate to know what else you disappear for, if you disappear for coyotes first, and for me second." he said teasingly to Auma. "Enjoyable, but I feel sorry if you were to end up with any other stallion, who would probably die from a heart attack to find you missing." Toying with the thought, he calculated that she would probably end up with a straight laced stallion. A shame, but oh well.
He turned with a abrupt change, "Shall we go then?" .
