"Oh I'm sorry, I'll grow guy parts for you." she replied with thick sarcasm. With the roll of her eyes, she smirked. "You wouldn't like me as a boy." she stuck her tongue out at him.
It was beautiful out here though...she smirked. "Amen."
Though she said it, she believed in love and that it wasn't for chumps. But for the lucky...
"I have seen the rain I have felt the pain I don't know where I'll be tomorrow I don't know where I'm going I don't even know where I've been But i know I'd like to see them again." she sang softly, after he dropped the beans upon his family. "I hope things go better with them. She felt like singing her soft song for him.

Turning his head back with a disgusted look on his face, he snorted and shook his head as if he was trying to rid himself of the mental images which sprung forth. "No. You'd make an ugly man, that or a really, really femme one. I can tolerate you as a girl....most of the time." He smirked, obviously teasing himself as he turned back around to glance across the field. Christ, his legs must have been twitching to run, since they tingled with anticipation.
Yet the stallion was calmed momentarily...Isis had begun singing once more. With an inaudiable sigh drawing out from his lips, she really did have a wonderful voice....not that he'd ever admit it. It must have been from her father's side.
Angel of music, was it?
Reguardless, when she finished he shook his mane, some of the braids falling into his red orbs. "Yeah....thanks." He spoke as he turned around, closing the distance between them and watching her for a moment....before leanding his head in close....very close...
...before he pulled on her hair with a vivacious smirk. "Now lets run."
Was the simple statement before he rose up, turning his body as hooves slammed down onto the grass as he took off in a wild run...the night wind ripping through his locks. This was how life should be....as calm and serene as galloping across a moonlit meadow.

"You wouldn't have me any other way and you know it." she replied matter of factly.
His reaction was more than enough from her voice, he knew he appreciated it some deep way...something she couldn't explain. She nodded her head. She did like him though, she considered him a friend whether he liked it or not.
Isis watched him, he took her breath away and her heart skipped as he edged in so close. She snapped out of it when he pulled on her mane, "Hey!" she replied with a smirk.
She took off after him with a genuine smile. The air felt great, amazingly enough she was graceful enough not to trip over that long mane of hers. She hoped he was enjoying himself as much as she was. She galloped to his side and nickered softly, edging slightly in front of him. With the soft flick of her tail at him she moved faster, going with the wind and the night.

"Maybe!" Zevach bellowed back, "But sometimes, perhaps!" He laughed, and not a cocky or arrogant laugh....no, this one was genuine.
Perhaps, Zevach too admitted deep down that Isis; despite their rather rough start, could be considered a friend in his books. They wern't brawling like when they first met, nor were they snapping at one another when they re-met a foals. For once, he was sure he didn't mind her company....perhaps if they kept in touch he'd maybe even voice that he thought of her as such!
Yet for now, he was more than fine with just living for the moment.
Glancing up ahead as she caught up and began to gain even more speed, He smirked as he veered off to the side for a few hard strides before it seemed like the ground gave way under him as he vanished into the long grass. Yet a few moments later he shot up from the dip in the ground and ran right infront of her at an angle to cut her off as he tried to flick his own shorter tail up at her chin; laughing loudly and freely with his deep vocals. Kicking back as he slowed enough to look back at the dark mare, he sneered in jest, "Serves you right."

"Tsk tsk," she replied with a smirk. "Playing games?"
She took a longer stride now, one and then two and then the third...she was slowing down as she did it. Her breathing increased as she huffed loudly she expanded those ebony and crimson wings and took off just above him. Her wings collided with night air and it felt...wonderful.
She flew ahead of him and looked behind her as she called out to see if he could hurry it up?
Hey if he was going to use a cheap shot, she would too.

Oh, right.
She did have wings.
Frowning as he slowed for a moment just to watch in awe as she soared overhead; Zevach had never seen any Soquili take flight before. Then again, most of the ones he knew didn't even have wings. It goes to show that everyone was created just a little differently from Soquili like himself, to winged.....to sheer mutants like Ezriel. Yet that made little difference to Zevach, he'd try or die doing so!
"Thats downright unfair!" He hollared, before that look burned in his eyes while his heart began to thud faster and faster with the adrenalin rush that coursed through his veins. Swiftly his hooves began to pound the ground, kicking up stray clods of dirt while his muscles began to ache with the exertion. With each sharp exhale he could almost feel like he too was soaring over the grasslands, occasionally glancing up as he began to catch up to the soaring mare.
Thankfully he'd never been a lazy colt, or stallion; as his muscles rippled under his dark coat he was glad he had the power and stamina to even run like he was now.

She took her own glances to watch the stallion roar forward, with such determination and ambition. There was more to him that met the eye. No matter what anyone said.
"Is it?" she chirped. He was catching u her legs were less tired and she wasn't even straining her wings. If you wanted to see a race, you had to watch wind soquili shred air as if it were non existant. Ares was one of the best flyers she knew. Better than her family at least.
She lowered herself to the ground, her feet graing the grasses until her legs collided with it and she was into a steady trot circling aroung, waiting for Zevach, he wouldn't take long. Her heart pounded furiously, just from the rush.

True enough, he'd caught up pretty fast once she'd landed and trotted in a mere circle. A thought came to mind, as a devilish smirk crossed his lips, another fun game wouldn't hurt? Not slowing his pace in the slightest, if anything he sped up a bit as he charged straight for Isis with the intent to leap right over her...yet distaster struck.
Not paying attention, Zevach neglected to see the rock which lay right in his way and as his front hoof caught onto the front of the offending stone; his ruby eyes widened with realization before he dissapeared into the grass with a mighty 'oomph' as dust quickly flew up into the air....thanks to the speed he was going he ended up sliding untill his face came to a stop before her.
Coughing irritably, he snorted to get the dirt out from his nose...now more of a mocha teal thanks to the dirt and dust covering his body.
Just.....great.

Her brow rose at his antics, what was he? Oh...
Her eyes drifted to the ground and saw the stone that would make the giant fall. She attempted to call out but it was to late. Like he would have listened anyways. She watched with wide eyes as the stallions hoof caught, she had saw it in slow motion almost.
Her head tilted as he slid...it looked like it hurt. Knowing him he'd try to tough it out. "That was smart." she retorted almost angerily.
She walked a pace to him and nosed at his cheek and then down his body for any indication of real hurt as she circled him. "Are you alright?" she was concerned for it showed in those lifeless eyes of hers and her voice had grown softer.

"It was a good idea at the time..." He huffed, yet held faint traces of a grin on his lips. She knew him well enough, he'd never give in if he was hurt or not; and he wasn't. No....ever since his run in with the mutant he'd been comparing everything to the pain he felt that day; and this was nothing in comparison.
"I'm fine, no need to fret." He ushered, slowly drawing himself up onto his hooves and shaking out his pelt to cause the dust to unsettle itself from his teal pelt. Still a bit out of breath, his chest heaved in and out while he stook, looking around but did manage to catch the concern in her eyes.
"So....what now? We should maybe lay off the running?"

"No," she stated simply. "It was never a good idea...you just wanted to show off."
She looked offended, "I'm not fretting, you should get those dreams out of your head."
She nodded her head "most likely"...an idea occured to her as the night went on. "Since your dirty...we could take a midnight dip in the river." The river that was nearest here was deep and the current slow during this time of year. It was perfect.

"Then if that was my plan was it not still a good idea?" He mused, although could most definately see her point of view. Perhaps next time he'd really think through his little escapades before blowing right through them. Then again, was that not what he did best? Marius was the major thinker in the family since he was the quietest.
A swim sounded like an excellent idea, and he could already smell the crisp scent of the water from here in the field. It had to be close, and nodding his head to her suggestion he began walking; following his nose.
"I'd never do that. Whatever you can dream can become reality, if you really really want it to. If you toss those aside, how can you ever expect to get anywhere?" He glanced to Isis, watching her with a curious gaze. "Haven't you ever strived to make a dream come true?"

She shook her head as she frowned at his arrogence. She rose her brow as he went of sniffing like a hound dog. He was so peculiar but she followed. She shook her head, "Dreams are for the weak, for dreams are only dreams. Things that are untrue, you can strive to them but less likely to achieve them." her head perked. "If you achieve it, its not really a dream is it? Just dream-like since you are in a satiated state...more or less." she flicked her tail behind her.

Dreams are for the weak?
What???
"How can you say that....Having something to hope and strive for I think would make you stronger from the perseverence to obtain that goal....rather than to sit and wait for nothing but the sun to rise again day after day. Acheiving a dream then makes it into a reality...to make room for the next dream to be aspiring for." Well, she had a point...
"Perhaps we were raised differently, but be it a dream, hope or whatever....I'd go insane without something to strive for, to be passionate of acheiving." Shaking his head, he could see the babbling brook up ahead; glittering under the moon's glow. "Is that the one?" He inquired, glancing to Isis.

"Dreaming gets you no where." she watched him. "You are waiting for something that will never come. You lie in hope, and when you think it has it decieves you. Like sugar cubes taunting little foals." she shook her head. She had left her aspirations in the dust, she would never please herself nor the ones around her. "Yes, we were raised differently." She turned from him, emotion over flooding her mind as she replied with a solem 'yes.'
