Serafina heard the doors close and then the bus driver swear something. Looking up she spotted a rather attractive looking boy board the bus in the nick of time. The girls around her looked up adn their envious faces now melted into awe, very similiar to the ways the boy were still staring at Serafina. She on the other hand, ignored ever one of the them and pressed closely against her window. In her human life, it had very much been this way. the boys liked her, the girls did not. This one boy that entered the bus had seemed the only one not interested in staring at her and she was relieved if not curious.

As the bus continued on, he could feel the attention returning to him, along with a few remarks about his a**. He smirked in self glorification as a girl sat down beside him.

Soon the school came into view and Serafina sat up straight in her seat. It was a small school, but friednly looking enough. The bus parked and the students stood up, starting to file out of the bus. Serafina made it into the asile and off the bus quickly, hoisting her bag over her shoulder.

(hmm I figured out what my second character will be, I chose the human ^_^)
Following the schedule he received in the mail, Al eventually found his first period class. Inside was sitting a few of his new classmates and a boy he recognized from the photo sent to him from his bosses. "Calmly he sat down beside the boy and smiled, "Hey, the names Al, I'm new here."
"Oh hey, I'm Mark," the boy responded. Instantly he could recognize a certain cockinbess in the boy's eyes but had decided that he should probably get to know him before he judged, "So where did you come from?"
"Jersey," the demon responded honestly.

Serafina made it to her first class of the day and sat in the very back. She quickly scanned the faces of the boys in the room, but to her dismay, didn't find one that she had been sent to save.
I hope he's even in my classes She thought to herself, sighing and taking out a notebook as her teacher instructed them to do.

Saya at the very back of her first period class.She looked and saw every one staring at her as if she was an alien."What!?"Saya yelled out.These people,it's like they've never someone like me,she thought.

Serafina jumped in her seat and turned to see a rather angry looking girl yelling at everyone. Serafina merely blinked at the girl's sudden outburst and continued to watch her as the teacher slowly started to approach her.

Meanwhile in a small city a few miles away, news reporters were gathered at a building that had burned down many years ago. This area of the city was nearly abandoned due to superstition and had been left to rot. This area was known as "the slums". The homeless lived around this crumbling area, but they stayed their distance form the cursed house which gave this place its nasty reputation.
The camera crew was filming a reporter in front of the empty burnt building. On the front wall, written in blood were the words "GO AWAY!!!". Against the wall were the burnt remains of two humans and their belongings.
Though many people would not know about this event at the present moment, it was destined to be played on the 6 o'clock news.

A few minutes before class started a larger boy walked into the classroom On his way to his seat, the boy walked close to MArk's desk and knocked over his books. It was an innocent enough looking joke that no one would ever bother making a fuss over it, and Mark knew if he bothered saying anything he would only be laughed at for whining about something so trivial. Of course what most people failed to notice was how many little things just like that happened to him over the course of the day. It was the worst kind of bullying, the kind that one rarely got in trouble from, but could hurt just as much as any large thing Mark could think of, and of course the jerk knew it.
"Why are some people so dumb they resort to picking on others just to get a cheep thrill," Al sighed confidently to Mark, not out of any true concern for the boy, but because after two hundred year, he knew the right buttons to push to inspire his sin, "I'm impressed you can put up such an idiot." For that one moment, Al could feel the pride within the human bubble to the surface and he made it grow. Even so he knew it would still take at least another few weeks before his job was done and he could take a break for the month of two until Christmas.
Normally He would have given a modestest response but something about the new kid's words filled him with confidence, with Pride, "Yeah well if you give the baby what he wants he'll never stop crying," he replied, attempting to imitate his new friend's nonchalant tone.

The teacher raised an eyebrow, but decided it was better to just let this slide instead of argue about it. While he turned and continued on with his lecture, Serafina turned in her seat and stared at the girl, frowning a little. That didn't seem true, what the girl had said, but Serafina didn't want any enemies on ehr first day of school, so she didn't say anything.

Al managed to drone through his first period, having heard similar lessons more times then he wished to count but finally the bell rang, "So where you heading?" Al asked, not truly caring but trying to look as though he did.
"French, but I'm not very good," Mark replied, sighing downward at his feet.
"Moi aussi," He replied but received a blank stare, 'Wow this kid really is bad at French,' Al thought, "It means me too."

Saya went to her l0cker to leave her books and headed for her next period which was math.She walked through the halls ignoring comments from all the other students.
