she nodded "not everyone likes pity" she says quietly. "do you still crave for blood?" hs ewas genuily curious, plus she knew what it was like back then. she did not pity her or even close to that, she hated being pitied herself so why treat others like that. although she may seem cold that way, shed rather be left alone then being botherd constantly by fakers,liers, filthy humans who call themselves freinds. she knew it wasnt her fault she had acciedntly killed the boy but she wouldnt say that. she remained quiet.

She bit her lip and turned her head to the side, "If I said frequently would that make me a monster, or could I use the excuse: I'm only demon?" Her tone was playful, energetic. She sat on the bed and layed on her side, "If I said no would I be realistic? Would i be able tp say: I'm only human?" She sighed, "It's not fair that we must live in torment while humans casually stroll through the streets, never once falling victim to things that demons go through." She paused momentarily and stood, her ears standing up listening as the first drop of rain hit the ground. With one quick movement she had risen and was already walking outside.
She stepped lithely into the rain. It began to pick up soon after. Her head tilted back; she stared up into the clouds, "They say rain is tears falling from the heavens. That the sky is crying for those who need it and even those who do not. I imagine that and wonder, 'Why do those of us, like myself, have something that cries for us when we do not indeed deserve tears to be shed? We have wronged, are we forgiven so easily?' " She smield half-heartedly and looked at the ground. "I think through and answer it myself, 'Yes.'" She didn't explain, only continued on a different subjext. "When I answer yes I wonder if anyone bothers to cry for the sky? The sky lets us feel tears from it on our skin, but do we ever shed tears for it. Thank it for being there when no one else. I do not believe so, we all have the same sky and all feel the same rain, and yet no bothers to thank the sky for being convcerned; forgiving and grieving when there is no one else to when we die."
Her eyes sparkled dimly in the faint light, "And so I ask you this, Would you cry for the sky even if it were to never cry for you?" Her expression was soft and warm and yet behind it a mask sheltered pain and tragedy, rememberance of her past. Turning around swiftly she put her arms behind her and laced her fingers together. korin looked on in amazement at Yuma's new expressions, she had not seen her like this since she had been a small child. 'You finally tell the story and you find a new you. Saw Yuma still lurks beneath though, do not let her push through.'

while she was saying all this kiano had a light smile. she closed her eyes listing to her speak as her two foxes lay by her feet. she didnt hear or see the arrow nor did her foxes until it was too late "kiano!" they yell siamtansously. [sp] kiano yelps in pain as her neck is pirced. it barly missed the vein but blood was still pouring out."dont touch" she warned. and just slowly leaned against the wall. the two foxes turn quickly and see a fleeting figure. they see a note on the arrow. yuri, the more serious one transforms and reaches a hand to the note, careful not to touch the arrow. she reads it and growls dropping it so yuni can read[[yuri's the only one that can transform ^-^; ]]

She turned around, smiling somewhat and saw the arrow. "What- what the-" she gasped as she fell to her knees, seeing the blood drip to the ground. Korin looked at the blood and hissed, "Hurry and stop the bleeding or get her away from here!" Yuma was on her hands and knees, gasping for air. "Korin! I-" her eyes went wide and she screamed as her skin felt like it was on fire. Korin's eyes went as wide as they were allowed, "Y-Yuma?" she stuttered and staggered forward. "Korin..." she gasped, holding her her arms against her chest she convulsed. "... what's happenign to me?" she growled and her eyes glowed a crimson red. She screamed in terror.

yuri swiftly pulled the arrown and kiano stopped yuma from collasping. her eyes widen in reconzization of what was happing. "korin, she needs blood" she says softly while still holding yuma. she knew what was happing because she had been like this before as well, except she had to go through the whole pain, and nearly died. she didnt want yuma to go through what she had to endure. it would be tortuing yuma, besides she felt somewhat...attracted to her and figured she could giv her her blood.

"NO!" Yuma screamed, pushing Kiano away. "I... can't have blood or I'll become what I have avoided all my life... what I have feared to be!" she put her hands on her head and curled int oa ball on the ground, her head throbbing and her eyes glowing. Korin looked between the two, "How can you know this? She will revert to her true form if she is to drin blood, she will terrorize unless unconcious.. or dead." she sighed and looked at her friend that she had been with since she had been born. "We'd have to force it down her throat."

"then fine" she said she healed her neck "im soryr for this yuma" she stradles yuma's waist and then makes her hand start to bleed. she opens her mouth and lets her blood flow down into her mouth. she knew yuma would hate her but she needed to drink blood and quickly. yuri walked next to korin back in her fox form as yuni is sleeping.yuri was silent as she watched her feed yuma blood forcefully. she also knew yuma needed blood

"What the..." eyes go wide as blood drops into her mouth. "NO!" body starts to convulse rapidly. Korin turned away instantly, hearing the desperate cries of Yuma as she struggled to control herself, Just let it go without a fight... she thought to herself and curled into a ball. Hair begins to turn black and ears turn white, as well as her tail. "Damn." Korin says almost in a yell as she changes into her human form and pushes Kiano off her and pulls her into the bushes. Yuma's body begins to change, becoming fearsome. Her hands and feet grow and change, into paws and fur sprouts from them. Her eyes slit and turn red, her mouth and jaw morphing into a muzzle. Her body becomes that of which she fears; a shadow wolf... her true form.

the pain egulfs her from the arrow earlier and she whimpers in pain. yuri transforms back into a human and curses softly "s**t, were going to have to rampaging blood beasts on our hands.." she pauses then also drags her into a bush to cover her transformation "heads up korin!" she jumps back from kiano as she starts to transform. her whimpers turns to growls and her eyes turn blood red. she transforms into a snow white fox but has res tint to the fur. she howls lowly and dangerously but then smells yuma. she turns and slowly approaches.she too had transformed but under pain, she transforms under pain or when fed blood. yuri looks at them making sure kiano doesnt get hurt.

Yuma stood, her fur rippling with the wind and her body tensed as she saw Kiano. Her mind raced as she tried to figure out what happened, but a voice came from inside it, It's okay Yuma. Calm down, let me take over if you want to defend your life. Yuma hesitated, afraid that this new voice might cause harm to Kiano even though she was already about to pounce upon her, herself. She nodded and her spirit took the place of the other, And also, I am Kaoro. I am not you I am your true form. She nodded and watched as her body moved without her doing, "Do not come any closer." Her voice had changed, as well her eyes and blood dripped form from jowls in place of drool. She howled a silent howl to the heavens and KOrin's ears went flat and she spoke to Yuri in a whisper, "I have not seen this for quite some time becasue her clan was killed, but I warn you, this battle will be fierce if Kiano fights with Kaoro."

kiano bows down to her without hesistation. "you have my loyalty lady yuma, lady kaoro" she didnt want to fight but if kaoro did want to fight she would grant her that wish.once a firefox had pledged loyalty, they remained fircely loyal. she had this feeling, and actually wanted to pledge loyalty, and did. yuri smiles then turns to korin. "and you, lady korin, have my loyalty." she too pledged loyalty but to korin insted. they both remained in their bowing position

"All this for demons like the shadow wolves and cats. We do not deserve kindness for what we have done." the voice was soft and the eyes had returned to their silver-ivory color; Yuma had returned to her body. Kaoro, please. I wish not to harm them so let me be in control... I do not feel any pain. Kaoro was silent within her mind as Yuma spoke softly. "I fear many things, even myself at times because I have learned that I am not meant to get along with humans, let alone other demons. By far you are the most recent person to have spoken to me for a long time in such a kind and concerned voice and yet, it wasn't out of suspicion I would suppose." These words were hollow and yet had soul to them. Each word represented her faith being poured out upon Kiano's path hoping to be taken into the arms of someone who wouldn't pull her in just to poush her away. "I see you pledge your loyalty to me, but I wish you not to; let me pledge my loyalty to you and that you may guide me in the right direction." She fell upon her knees and rested her forehead upon the ground, bowing with deep sincerity. Korin did the same to Yuri before standing and speaking clearly, "Kiano, it is very unliely that you will ever have another demon like Yuma, a shadow wolf, bow at your feet wishing for you to take her under your wing, so to speak."

kiano smiles softly as she transofrms back also. she listens to her words then shake her head. she gently pulls yuma up "let us be equals..let us help eachother out when needed. " she and yuri spoke that at the same time but to differnt people. she truly though yuma was her equal and hoped yuma would accept her offer. she hoped yuma would be her ...freind for now untill yuma pushed her away like all her other 'freinds' did.she sees the time and frowns lightly. "i have to get going it is alredy 11 pm and we have school tommarow" she bows lightly then swiftly kisses yumas cheek. yuri also swiftly kisses korins' cheek and both walk off to their dorm.yuri was also a student there and was also part of the firefox clan..infact she was the guardian of kiano back then and still is. but they both had a nagging fear that the two other girls would push them away, like countless others did.

She nodded and smile before she turned with her hands clasped tight behind her back and strode off to her dorm. Korin...what is the feeling you get within you when you feel all warm? she asked through her mind, though she was sure Korin would make it so everyone around her area could hear. Korin chuckled then, interrupting her thoughts, Either love, mi'lady, or happiness that you have a friend. She nodded as Korin became her shadow, imitating her strides. "I suppose so." She added before she entered and locked the door behind herself. "I think I'll ditch tomorrow." She muttered to Korin, who lie on the bed in her human form. "As you wish, Mi'lady." Yuma's bottom lip jutted out, "I really wish you would stop calling me that! It's not like I'm the princess anymore." She bit her tongue and looked away from Korin. Korin gasped, "As long as your father is king you are the princess! And one day you will be Queen! Do you understand me Lady Yuma?" Her voice was hoarse as she spoke, "Yes, Ma'am. I understand. I suppose it is my duty to defend what's left of my people." She stated calmly before plopping down on the bed and acting like she had immediately fallen asleep.

kiano couldnt get to sleep so she stood up. yuri awoke slightly only to hear her say "im going out for awhile. " yuri sighed. "be careful pri-" she stoped when she saw the look on her face. "dont ever call me that...it brings memories left forgetten." she then walks out the door locking it behind her leaving yuri looking sad. kiano walks quietly past yuma's room as she did the others, but hurt and depression radiated off of her, she was trying to fight of memories. yuri was debating whether or not to follow or stay, but decided on staying, she would only get more upset if yuri followed. kiano stoped at the window by yuma's room and looked out silently. the moon reflected into her eyes gold eyes showing her hurt and sadness.
