"I love you too my little Korou" She whispers licking his maw, her nose burying in to his neck. "Sleep now, we will rest for a little until I need to hunt.! Draping her nead over his shoulders, she laid her cheek gently on his back and closed her eyes her puurring song whispering out as she sighed happily. This was the way it was supposed to be. Time and tides had shown her that, she and Korou, they would be happy now and she would hold him against her body forever.
A serene smile alighted on the blue eyed femme as she let her dreams drift to their future, away from the past which for both of them could be called a little sordid. At least their future was bright, for the both of them.

Smiling against her fur, Korou laid his head on her paws and let his bi-colored eyes drift shut. It felt nice to be leaned against Colche, to have her wrapped against his body so comfortably. It felt better than it had ever felt with Chopi.
This was his new home, this was where it had always been.
As his tired brain slowly came to a halt to cause sleep, his mind let dreams drift inward, swirling images of his love, of Afiya and his twins and of other little cubs. Of Amai and of a future that he'd never dreamed he would have, yet now would.
It was the most comfortable future he'd ever seen.
