Angellen ...I have the sneaking suspicion that it has something to do with all these heatwaves/whatever. Dad came back from his jambore (I know that's not spelled right, too bad...) and told us that over 300 kids got hospitalized because the heat was SO bad. My senses are a bit foggy; I can tell something's there, but it's not overpowering. Maybe it's because I've been training my empathy? ...Or the fact that I'm a million miles from most everyone.... xd That could be it, I guess, but I dont live anywhere near anything like that, so why would I be feeling it? I live way up in the canadian rocky mountains neutral

Amber Ocean Does anyone think that there's something in their chest that's trying to break free (like when you get angry and your emotions get the better of you)? I've got a couple of friends that have talked to me about this (and I feel like this too). -.-;;; the only time i felt like something was coming out of my chest was when i had a kind of spiritual revelation, and that actually wasn't a pulling out, so much as a pushing in. in reference to everyone else, i have great emotional spikes, because i simply do not have the mental ability to block everyone out. the quiet would drive me insane, although, i can feel the outpouring of emotion, coming from all of you, through this forum, and it kind of makes me worry for you.

I have emotional spikes too, but that''s probably because I don''t know how to regulate my emotions/am too tired to put up a shield to block other''s energy. I understand how the quiet world would drive you insane, but can you understand how the screaming world could kill me?

I have been an empath for the last few years. my powers have gotten stronger by the day and i have become very used to it. i no longer try to shield my powers away and it provides to be very relaxing. it helps a lot when it comes to dealing with others because i just got my first job and it involves dealing with many people....( i got a job at my local Super Target as a sales floor person in electronics/toys so i have to deal with people who are very frustrated and annoyed) empathy has become a great help and i love my gift.
a long time ago i used to feel overwhelmed by it and i would hate it and tell my only friends who knew about it that i wished it was gone. Of course, it did diminish after that but i have come to love it and no longer wish it gone. Channeling harsher emotions can be extremely overwhelming. Especially sorrow and anger.
as an empath, i suggest to all those who feel overwhelmed by their power, to just sit back and let it take its course. eventually, the overwhelming goes away. also being sort of precongnitive, i was able to know and point out the days when it would become the most challenging for me to deal with my own powers, and yes, it was very difficult on those days, but now, it has become easier and the emotion has become neutural.
I also learned that empaths can make great psychologists because we can easily read their emotions and be able to help them handle them properly. I, myself, wish to become a school guidence counselor. Dont work on blocking the emotion. Learn how to rechannel it to make sure u are not blocking your own emotions.

I don't think what we are sencing is ourselves, but rather 'something else.' What, I don't know...
Its not a heat wave, this energy has been around to long for it to be somekind of atmosphere affect...
To Amber Ocean: I don't think this 'Harsh Energy' is comming from you. Its a bit strong for an individual person, and - to me - does not seem to have a 'human touch' to it... Its real hard to explain here, but it just fells like something diffrent.
Everyone, try and describe what you are felling. Might help determine what it is...

LightOfTheBlade Its not a heat wave, this energy has been around to long for it to be somekind of atmosphere affect... I never said it was. I said it might be related in terms of cause/result. I find that extreme heat tends to bring emotions to an elevated, "raw" level. This tends to make empaths more sensitive, and emotional levels to rise, sometimes drastically. All I'm saying is, there's probably a connection here. I wouldn't write off weather so easily, it often has a specific or significant "role" in seeming large-scale events or happenings.

I don't know about round where you guys live; but around here there are riffs between the worlds appearing everywhere. A riff or a rip. They cause emotional, physical, logical, mental, all aspects known to us to go haywire. Our senses become thrown off course and it becomes harder and harder for us to shield ourselves when all the energy we would normally use as a shield is being sucked through these riffs. I live in northeastern Ohio; and it is physically affecting peoples health at this point. -_-; and everytime we try to close, seal, or banish one. Another one opens in it's place. There's no stopping them, it's a vicious circle. We keep trying ourbest around here to slow them down and keep them at a minimum. We have found that we can slow them for short periods of time. but we are never really able to stop them. Please let me know if anyone else has been experiencing or seen anything like this where you life. Something major is happening, I can feel it; and I don't like it.

~Asha That is very intresting... Rifts output a great deal of energy, and depending on what they are connected to determins what kind of energy is produced... This 'hostle energy' we have been felling might be coming from a rift... But, thats one HUGE rift... CFV: How excactly is it becoming overwhelming to you? How you mean its starting to hurt?

well, I have been talking to other empaths in another guild and some empaths can feel pain and emotions, I have the ability to feel both but I have been feeling pain all my life from other people, I have felt how it feels like to have my arm broke, leg broke, been shot, been stabbed and everything and murderers are on the rise in the city and its just overwhelming for me.

Everyone is feeling that too? I think I got a faint clue of where the region is...Like before alot of people were saying south and west. My cousin lives on the west cost, and she says it's coming from the east. It's in between some where. What if those forest fires, I wounder, if they have any connection. Everyone is feeling like something is being pulled out of them right? Lexi is having a reaction, being pushed in.
We talked for a few hours, all we know it's some kind of disturbing energy, it's frightning her, and she's starting to think it's unatural energy and its in the west (or to her east)in the mountains, maybe like Tinuveil said, there could be possible rips in our world realsing energys. Not saying the fires are from that, but yea. She's been telling me and she's said shes felt extream bursts of Anger, Pain, and Fear and it feels like their bing pulled INTO her. Maybe if someone lived on the west coast is feeling the same sensation as my cousin? But it seems people to the east feel it being pulled out...It's just weird. I'm in Michigan near the Thumb, my cousin however is near the sea... She faces east and feels it, I face south-west and I feel it...

CFV: I too fell the emotions of people like you do, but that is not what we are speaking about. It you can, ignore that aspect and focus on non-human energies... See if you can sence anything... Silver: I too fell the energy being pulled INTO me as well. Thats the felling I was speaking about when I first started this thread. The anger i have been felling is my own energy trying to burst out of me. I am able to keep control over it, but if i get to angered, I don''t think I will be able to control myself. If your cousin is senceing it from the east, you are senceing it from the South-West, CFV is sencing it from either the south or east (or southeast), and I am senceing it from the east, that means is somewhere in the southern Rocky Mountain area... This is very grim news... Let me explain... There is a dark sect of ''witches'' (i use that term VERY loosly) that live in Arizona/New Mexico... I have known of thier extance for only about 3 months. A friend of mine was there once and had to often face them about 3 years ago. He had a vision one time of a dark hand comming out of the west. He had that vision about the same time I first senced the energy about 1.5 to 2 years ago. Don''t know if its connected or what it means... But, at least we are getting somewhere. @Silver: I took what you said seriosuly, I went deep into the rocky mountains a little south from where I love and it felt stronger there, this goes with what light is saying, the southern rockies.
@Light: I went into the rockies and southern and it was stronger so I think you mayb be onto something, I will ask my wiccan friends that also live in the rockies if they are feeling anything.
Next time I go deep into the mountains will be snowboard season, when I go I will see if the sence is more clear to me on top of the montains without interference from the big city. It's hard to tell the difference between people and things in this city (30million people is just annoying) but this energy seems to stick out from the rest...
