Chael stared at her blankly, not quite sure why she thought this was so fun... He didn't like it so much. "Mnn..." He let her do what she wanted though. He was just that way. As long as everyone else was having fun, then... Then he was okay. Although he was probably going to give in soon and let out a wail. Before that time came, Koru was running over, and the boy's clueless look was transferred to him.
The weremutt lifted his head slowly, letting out a slow groan. Ugh. He pushed himself to his feet casually, stretching out. If only they knew how easy it was to cheer up Chael. (Thank the gods for that.) He trodded on over, and without a second thought he scooped up his child from behind, hands hooking under his armpits. He drew the little guy close, cradling him and whispering to him with a reassuring tone.
The baby stared up at him uncertainly, but after awhile he was smiling again, cuddling into his guardian. After awhile he remembered the other baby and peered over to make sure the sand didn't eat her too.

Koru sighed, carefully plucking Ayumi from the sand to hold her, free hand wagging a finger at her. "No, Sand isn't to put on others." he scolded lightly, at the moment she got away with more things due to her age. He'd let Freize handle his own kid.
In place of ayumi was the small lump of sand Chael had just come from, as Ayumi was up in Korus arms. Currently glaring at his finger. If that wasn't what his stuff was for then what good was it?!
She made a light whine of protest, but gave in at the glare given to it. No need to fight him yet... She'd only end up going him and stuck in that damndable pin all day.

The weremutt was now lowering the child back into the sand, lifting a handful and showing it to him. He then began to try and build up some sort of sand-castle like pile (it was hard with dry sand,) apparantly trying to ease Chael's fear of the sand.
Chael let out a whine as he was back in the sand, thrusting out his lower lip and staring at the gritty stuff uncertainly. He watched Freize as the older male worked with the sand, fear soon melting away to curiousity. He was soon taking handfulls of sand and eagerly chucking them onto the 'mutt's neater pile. He earned a smile, and brightened from that, babbling something to himself as he continued working at the pile.
Freize stood and stretched once more, cracking his back. He surveyed the scene for a moment or so before glancing towards Koru and Ayumi, pondering if the other wanted to take the kids somewhere else to play because of the girl's behavior. He'd wait and see.

Koru watched Ayumi for a moment as she went about her defeated pout... That was enough for him. She really was tiresome... But on the bright side, even if he hadn't noticed, he was becoming a bit less.. passive. To put it lightly. In all honesty he was a pushover.
This was quickly changing
Ayumi stared away from him for a moment before locking eyes on the other two... Hey! No fair. She wanted to play... Frowning she squirmed a bit letting out a whine.
Koru watched her for a moment, before setting her back down, but not letting go just yet. "Will you play good this time?"
"Uuuh!" she squirmed more, reaching for the sand.
"What was that?"
"UuuUu!" she nodded vigorously, attempting to pry his hands off with no success
Smiling he let her go, watching for a moment as she hurried to join chael in piling up sand. Siighing he stood, glancing to the other male rubbing the back of his head nervously. "I'm sorry.. shes just a bit.. michevious." to put it lightly.

Freize smiled warmly and gave a small nod, "It's alright. Chael's a pretty tough little guy..." He watched them for a moment or so, and then thought to himself, not so bright, but tough. He then let out a small yawn and took a glance around, "Maybe after they get tired of this we should bring them to the wonder that is the playground." Ah slides, climby things and whatnot. A child's dream.
Chael smiled cheerily as the girl came to join him, pointing at the castle brightly. "Cawsle." (Castle.) His dad had read him a story about kids at the beach, and they had made a sandcastle. He remembered what it was. Freize had pointed at it specifically and said CAWSLE. Well, castle. But hey. Too bad. Those little things were nothing to him. Bah. It was a cawsle, and that was that.

"Awsle..." she repeated curiously, nodding a bit. She didn't quite know what that was.. she hated those story books. So Koru had stopped trying to read them to her... The only thing she did like was those fairly morbid ones.
Koru nodded intently watching Ayumi. She might try to choke the kid on sand next for all he knew... And having his child kill some other child was not somethign he had planned. Ever.. really..
He had his work cut out for him. "That sounds good.."

The boy smiled brightly and nodded, clapping his hands together as she said what it was. He wasn't used to teaching other kids new things- hey, he wasn't all that bright. Hey, atleast he was supportive, though. He stared curiously at the pile they had created, and then scootched over to grab a few small twigs and rocks from the edge of the sandbox before going to decorate the sandcastle with them, offering some to his companion. And he was good at sharing, too.
Freize watched them for a moment or two, and then looked towards Koru and gave a sigh. Children sure were something. He moved aside once again and then plopped down into a sit, a bit closer now, and he kept his eyes on the pair.

Ayumi frowned at the offered rocks for a moment, carefully taking one. She looked as though she were contemplating trying to throw that at him too... But after a moment or so she placed it on the castle proudly.
This kid wasn't so bad...Not like that OTHER one. First she wouldn't share her fish, THEN she HIT her.
So.. with that decided she calmed into a more.. child like state.
Koru watched her, tensing and ready to stop her from throwing a rock at the poor boy. He let out a sigh of releif when she didn't, hanign ghis head for a moment. Poor persocom was about to fry his circets.

The boy just smiled at her stupidly, completely unaware the other child was planning on pegging him with a rock.. He gave a happy noise as she placed it, nodding approvingly before setting the rocks and stuff down between them. He lifted another rock and leaned forward to place it carefully on the castle as well. Woo everyone was happy hooray. Everything was going perfect in his world right now.

Ayumi shifted, watching him curiously as he placed the things atop the sand. Blinking a few times she looked around her. Hm. Just sand. Frowning a bit she moved to the edge, grabbing at the things on the ground. Hm. Grass, another rock... What the?
She blinked when somethign started moving, giving a tiny squeak as she stared at the beetle in the palm of her hand. What a wierd tickly rock.

The boy jumped as she squeaked, worrying that the sand was eating her.. He blinked as he saw her looking at something on her hand... Whazzat? He moved over to gape at the strange rock thingy... She was scared by a rock? He blinked and looked at her curiously, tilting his head a bit... Did she wanna put it on the castle..? He was confused. Not that being so was unusual for him.

"Nn." she pointed to the tickly rock, blinking when it scurried further from her finger. Her whole world just flipped upsidedown at the thought of running tickly rocks.
Well now.. they couldn't very well put the tickly rock on the castle. It would just move! Hm. What a delimma...

Chael just gaped at it, and he probably would have felt the same about this wierd moving rock. Maybe, if he actually thought. But he didn't, he just decided that it was a moving rock, end of story, no questions about it. Wanna put it on the castle? Hm... Well, just make it stop moving, of course. Crazy moving rocks. But he didn't do anything, he just kind of made a "bbb" noise with his lips and went back to decorating the castle. Screw that.
