Looking back she smiled once again and it was unfortunate that she had missed his smile but perhaps Elen could get him to smile more. Nodding in aggreement she fallowed beside him, trotting a bit playfully even if he didnt take up the opertunity to play at this point.
" Well it could be worse.. i mean we could not know our parents at all, my momma knows a few like that... well from the stories i'v heard from her"
She looked forward, letting her big green eyes look back to him every so often as they walked, curious about this foal, every moment was mre then the last. She didnt know if she could call him one yet but she did like the idea of having a friend.

"True, I guess..." He replied, understanding herpoint. He slowed his pace as to let her walk beside him, though he found that he needed to walk faster to keep up with the trotting filly. A very soft smile sat on his lips, looking ahead of them. He didn't know where they were walking too, and perhaps it didn't matter. It was nice to be aquainted with somene who might understand a strained relationship... Could they be considered friends, depsite only knowing each other for a little while?
"Would you call us friends?" The word fell foreign on his tongue and his ears, his eyes squinting as he tried it out mentally again.

Smiling she slowed her pace down to a walk and looked over at Marius. Wiggling her tail as sort of a symbol of happiness she nodded her head. Her monotone tail kept flickering as she tossed her short soft mane about with her answer.
" I would consider us friends yes, thats if you would like to be my friend.. because i would like to be yourse"
She kept walking as the day seemed to slip away from them, curious to what else he would say and do before they had to part their ways. Her long delicate legs caried her in a foalish manner, not quiet delicatly but a little stumbly like most foals but Elen didnt care. Marius had caught her on a suprise but to her it was a good suprise. Finally some one to call a friend.
