Pona sneaked off to try get them something to eat...the pridelands had enough food for all animals os it was rare she came back empty handed. And she had 4 mouths to feed now so one little hare wouldn't do enough either sure the cubs drank milk but they needed meat as well.
So what could she hunt then? hmmm maybe an antilop or a zebra? hard choice maybe what she spotted first. The yount lioness strutted off and left her children for a while to search for food.
Purnoma watched his mother leave he didn't stop looking after her until she was so far away until he couldn't see her anymore he didn't even noticed his sisters started to play fight until he got a tail in his face...
" A..Atchoo!!! "
The soft tail hair made his little nose sneeze and he fell down to the side. His balance wasn't very good at all yet he was definelty a slow learner. He binked with his green eyes and watched his sisters..
" Be careful you guys "
He said happily since he prefeared watching them play then join in.

"It looked like a nice toy." She replied, with a broad grin, bracing herself for her sister's pounce. Ready to pounce back, with all the strength she could muster in her tiny body.

"Well It sure wasn't a nice toy!" Nirmala let out a wimpy growl. Taking a few bounds closer to her brother she cooed towards him "C'mon you mouse let's play!" She looked at her sister.
Being sisters I'm sure she understood the plan to gang up on her brother...

Pona would surley be gone for a few hours since hunting took some time and some planning and she hadn't even found a good pray yet. She flicked her ears as she walked and tried to pick up any scent with her nose but she mostly picked up lions..
Purnoma continued to watch his sisters with his lime green eyes. He was a listener not that one that talked very much and he felt to watch more then interact he didn't know why since he know his mother wasn't like that or his father or the little Pona had told him and his silings about him, their dad.
" You are funny to watch "
He said with a small giggle and sat down and put his little tail around one of his back legs..

While her brother's attention was on her sister, she slowly made her way around so she could sneak up from behind. She crouched down low, making as little sound as possible.

She looked at her brother "It's even more fun to join!" She began her movements towards her brother in preperation for the pouceing. "Do join us little brother"
He body was sleek in the sun as each scrawny little cub muscle would ripple with her movements. Claws outstretched dragging small dusts clouds as she rapped her feet across the ground...

Purnoma was watching his white sister and wasn't ready that his other sister would attack him. He squeeked lightly as he fell down on his stomach with his grey sister on top of his back. He tried to get her off him but he had no luck at all.
" H...help? "
He said weakly and looked at his other sister Nirmala for a little help? he had no idea if he would get any but asking wouldn't hurt.

"Help? I ain't hurting you little brother, just playing. Why won't you play with us?" She asked, holding him down with her front paws. With one paw still on him, she continued forward so she was right above him, she lowered her head so she could look at his face, albeit it upside down from her perspective. "Don't you like to play? We won't hurt you 'onestly we won't." She said in her sweetest of voices, a grin across her face.

Purnoma was still unsecure and not sure of if he should belive his sisters but they was his family even if they would tease him they wouldn't hurt him that bad just play with him. He nodded his little head and agreed on the playing since it actually sounded pretty fun...he would try to do his best.
" Ok i play with you guys then "
He wiggeld his tail and got ready for the next playfull attacks from his sisters.
A few hours had passed before Pona got back to the den there she kept her cubs. She had brought a small antilope cub with her and it was hanging into her mouth as she sneaked down into the den. The cubs probably had to be hungry and the taste of meat would probably be there first but they had to start somewhere right?
With a happy grin she dropped the dead animal on the floor of the den..
She looked at her cubs and was sure of that she could raise them to big and strong lions one day, she wasn't sure if Purnoma would be as brave as his sisters but he would probably be fine even if he was a coward sometimes..
But the future will hold a lot of adventures and surprises.
