Iva paused. Wanted to kill him someday. Being a hare, he had long grown used to the idea that many things wanted to kill him, to eat him. However, it felt slightly startling the idea that this time, he was singled out, targeted. A hyena was after him now. Not only because a random hyena wanted to eat, but because a specific hyena wanted to kill(then maybe eat).
However, he swallowed his unease, and gazed up at the maned wolf. "And you're surprised? I'm a hare. I'm prey, remember? Everyone want to kill me. Prey-beast, prey, whatever you want to call it. I'm food. So she wants to kill me. Big deal." He sneered, and folded his ears back.

Fumbi was slightly taken aback at how angry the hare seemed at first, but, always sensitive to others feelings, he could tell that deep down, Iva was slightly.. afraid. Could he blame the hare? Not really.
"I.. I just thought you'd like to know.. " He said, folding his ears back slightly. He didn't want to have annoyed or upset Iva, its just.. he thought the hare had to know he was targeted. Had to know someone was very angry at him. So he could get away, or try and fix it, or. Or something. Just so it was no surprise. He looked down at his paws a bit, eying the one that had a small pattern on it, then looking at his side, as if distracted once more by his paint,

"Well.. well ya thought wrong. " He said, looking away a bit, nervously. He wanted to leave now. He'd calm down later, its not like he worried too much. But perhaps this wolf, a possible threat, being right next to him made him even more jumpy.
"I'm going home. " He stated, and not giving Fumbi a chance to protest, darted off, leaving the maned wolf behind, looking dumbstruck for a bit then it left.
I'll be fine, Iva told himself. My den is very far. There's no way she'll ever find me. Just for security, though.. He might want to make it a bit deeper. And another escape exit.
