"Read and write? Then he'd have to carry around paper and stuff... Would that work?" Adora cocked her head in thought. She really didn't have to worry about literacy know though, they needed to find a smart Ulaya first.

"Not really... but Farfalla knows someone that can write... I think." FrostBite bit her lip thinking about how they woul be able to contact anyone that could teach a handicapped ulaya. "Do you think going around asking random ulaya if they know how to write would be beneficial in any way?"

"Just because someone can write doesn't mean they can teach it." Adora said thoughtfully. "There still has to be someone out there though... I never figured that having a deaf child would be this hard." She muttered the last part quietly, trying to not let Frostbite hear her.
Quidi, getting bored just staring around the place, yawned and stretching. Thinking that both of them weren't looking, he started sneaking off on his own.

"I know..." Frostbite looked away for a moment. One of her ears flicked up, "hm? What was that?" She then noticed Quidi starting to sneak off. Frostbite sighed and firmly placed her paw on his tail, pinning him to the ground. "I understand fully how he must of gotten away before..."

Adora laughed quietly and rushed over to Quidi. "It's my fault most of the time, since I expect him to stay put and he never does. I guess he has an adventurous streak like Farfalla."
She suddenly got quiet at the thought of her sister. "How is she anyways?"
Quidi scowled and struggled to get free. Why did they want him to stay with them if they weren't going to play around. He twisted himself so that he could gnaw on Frostbite's paw firmly.

"She's fine, dont expect her to do too well with children though," she said with a nervous laugh. "But she's doing fine for now since there still boxes." She lifted her paw off but made sure he wouldnt get away. She smirked though than noogied him. "You should probably get a leash for him or something, I dunno, a child restraint."

"A child restraint leash? I reckon that Quidi with gnaw through it. I hope all the biting is just a phase though." Adora sidled herself by the kit and patted him gently.
"You know? My other kit's named Alacrin... and he glows like you. Only green."
Quidi squeaked as he was noogied and patted. He didn't like being treated like a newborn.

"Yeah, its probably just a phase, since he's young his teeth are growing." Frostbite chuckled as Quidi squeaked, "Alacrin... is there anyting wrong about him?" I really hope that if one sibling has a problem than the other wouldnt have one as well...

"Not that I know of." Adora replied with a skeptical look. "I haven't checked up on him recently... but his father would tell me if there was a problem. Hopefully there isn't any."
Now she was thinking about Farfalla's kids... Maybe something runs in the family. She hoped it didn't.
His mom was looking worried, and Quidi wondered why. He didn't like it when her face was like that. Crawling over beside her, he crooned and purred.

"Yeah... Tell though if something suddenly comes up." She blinked and had a small smile appear when she watched Quidi. "Ah... I sort of miss kids. Its a half and half situation with the grandchildren thing because of that," she said with a nevous chuckle. How I wish I could've met all my children as children though...
((The twins are kind of cursed. xD))

Adora nuzzled Quidi and turned back to Frostbite. "Just want til you have great-grandchildren... You'll be probably more sad than glad." She was still amused that her mother could be considered a grandmother.
What she said brought up another point though.
"I just realized... Quidi can't really have a mate, since... of obvious reasons."

FrostBite shivered, "true... that would mean I'm even older... and I'm not even that old!" She pouted but then she nodded, her face relaxed into a frown-like face. "Yeah... probably, unless he meets someone that can really understand him well without the need for communication." I'm sure he'll find someone that will love him whether he knows it or not though... I mean, we love him, right?

"That would have to be a mind reader." Adora joked around. "And I bet a mind reader would be awkward to have as a mate." She laughed at the thought of that.
Quidi noticed a shiny black beetle flitting among the grass and chased after it. If his mom and the other Ulaya won't play with him, he'll have to amused himself some other way.

FrostBite laughed, "I ment some one that could spiritualy understand him, not read his thoughts and talk to him telepathically." She flinched for a moment about to stop Quidi thinking he was going to try and get away again but relaxed seeing he want rewally going anywhere.

"Spiritually... I think that might be harder to find than a telepath." Adora said thoughtfully. But she was genuinely worried, and would be willing to help search for such a person.
Quidi continued chasing the beetle all over the place, until it landed on Adora's head. Grinning, he pounced on her, and though the beetle flew away, he caught a bunch of fur.
