Quote: He snorted, and turned away, sitting down with his ears flat. He almost looked like a kid pouting because it had to go to bed-- but he did that quite often, didn't he? Quote: With his back turned Tahara had a triumphant smirk of amusement, moving in closer to pick up where she left off, using her white socked forepaws for balance against his back. If she hadn't believed him before then she surely would now. Somehow he just, struck her as the honest sort. He hasn't bragged or exaggerated once yet, and despite the slight clash of their personalities he seemed just as genuine as she, and it was appreciated. Nothing would have irked her more than some boastful anything, hare or otherwise, expecting her to worship the ground they walked on and sing their praises because of one good feat.
In the end, with him cooperating, it really didn't take long, and soon enough she was moving back again to give him his personal space.
"There. Not so bad, was it?" She questioned, once again sitting up straight.

He crossed his arms impatiently, but didn't really do anything to move away. He just kepts musing over the weirdness of the situation, and flicked his fluffy tail a bit. He eyes his feathers a bit, and when Tahara finished, he didn't really respond to her; he'd picked them up.
"These aren't very good feathers. " He mumbled to himself. That hawk obviously hadn't been very tidy. Sure, they broke sometimes when you yanked them off-- but really. One of them was ragged and fuzzy, and broken. The other was at least kind-of decent. He blinked a bit, then tossed the rejected feather aside.
"Ya done? "

Quote: "I'm done. Do you collect them, or something?" A brow quirked curiously, looking over the feather he held. Quote: Iva blinked. Twitching an ear. "Yeah. My dens full 'o em. " He shrugged. To him, his feather collection had become no big deal. "I go all kinds a feathers. An' I made my bed of em. " He grinned meekly. He was proud to have the softest bed one could ask for. Quote: "Hmph...." Tahara replied absently, turning. She was just about to say more when her ear twitched without warning. Oh, damn it all, she'd forgotten, she was on a mission here when that stupid hawk interrupted. "Ahh, CRAP!! I've got to go or she'll have my head!!" The hare suddenly exclaimed with wide eyes, turning tail and darting off. Her parting words carried back on the breeze, but she did not dare turn back to get distracted again. "Thanks again for the help!!"
