That was what Alora had all read in books. The girl had diligently researched up the dragon once she knew what type she was getting. She wanted to prepare for it's arrival, and make sure nothing would go wrong.

It would like her, right? She hoped it would.

"Dragons wouldn't...eat us." In fantasy books, the princess was always captured by the dragon and the knight would kill it and rescue her. But logically, to her, D-Corp was, well, kinda like their home, and giving them dragons just to eat the kids up didn't make sense. Besides, the frost dragon she had met, Vorel, had been very nice. "Long, as in their size?"

The response to this was a smile, and the girl fidgeted for a moment to dislodge her notebook from the sling bag that hung from a shoulder. "You could...also give me your number?" She offered shyly, flipping to a blank page and handing the other a pen. "Then you can tell me when your lessons are...or we can just...talk." Her brother had gotten quite a few phone calls from his friends in school, and she was starting to feel a little left out.

"When I was little I thought they would, though. My - Aiden told me that they wouldn't but..." She tapered off, lips twitching into a small smile. It was odd, remembering childhood like it was so far back. Emi supposed it was but, to her, it was almost like no time had passed it all and, at the same time, that it had been going so slowly that she could almost feel herself age. Aloras question snapped her out of it, offering the girl another tiny smile. "I. Uhm. I think the dragon-man said.. forty feet?"

Well, the swan wasn't quite sure how long forty feet WAS but she remembered Aidan going rather white at that mention, so she guessed it was big. Big enough, anyway. "And he told me they didn't eat girls."

Another firm-for-her nod before Alora whipped (so to speak) the notebook out. There was a pen! The question fell on deaf ears for a minute, Emi simply blinking at the other girl with wide eyes. She wanted her number? Keivlos and Revon hadn't even wanted her number. Granted, she hadn't met a huge amount of children but - still! It took a minute for her to reach out and take the notepad and the pen, little fingers wrapping around the pen almost delicately.

She wrote in her very best print - her name and her phone number. Dagger always lied about her family name so the page simply read 'Emi'. "Can.. Can I have yours too? Just in case? I don't have paper but.." Emi all but stuttered, with her usual lack of intersocial grace, face going pink once more. "I could - may I borrow some?"

"I...guess I would too." She flashed her a gentle, almost understanding smile. "But, I met this really nice dragon when Mother came to get me...so it isn't so bad, I guess." It was better to meet one that was willing to give her a ride, than to meet a mean dragon, which would probably scare her out of her wits.

Forty feet. She tilted her head slightly at the mention, brows furrowed slightly in thought. How long was that again? It sounded really long though!

Noticing the other girl's hesitation, she squirmed a little, looking a little embarrassed. Was that...too hasty of her now? They had just met and well, she was already asking for her number. She wasn't being stupid, right? The dove relaxed slightly as the other took the items, a wave of relief rushing through her.

The blonde nodded. "Of course." She said quite cheerfully. Making a new friend was really quite nice, and new to her. Neatly, she tore out a page and wrote her name and number as well, and handed it to the other. Her handwriting was flowing and slightly cursive. "Can you...read it?" She asked awkwardly. Her brother had sometimes complained about not being able to read her writing properly. Then again, his writings looked a lot like scribbles.
