" We are waiting for one more..at least thats what the detectives concil told me...if anything we can move out and he and maybe a few others will join....." she straightened herself out as madame Sonja burst out from the store.

" AHHHHH SEEZ DETECTIVES ARE ALVAYS LATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" madame sonja fixed the brim of her hat and begn to sweep yet again
" NO VON VILL ENTER MY SHOP IF ALL OV YOUU DETECTIVES ARE STANDING OUT FRONT!!!!!!!!!!!"

Captain Rozenfeild gave a stare to madame Sonja. Her eyes were cold and blank. She didnt like yelling..she didnt like unecessary noise. Madame Sonja got the message and with a huff pushed back into her store.

Brier Rose's simultaneously disquieting and arrestingly beautiful scarlet eyes journeyed at a leisurely pace across the letter, and the man who had brought her the letter waited, consciously forcing himself not to hold his breath. Slowly, the perfect lips curved into a small smile; the man allowed himself to see this as a positive sign. Surely he had done the right thing. He tried not to fidget.
Brier Rose herself was aware of his discomfort, but didn't hurry on his account. This was extremely interesting, to say the least.
Finally she looked up, and as always, the man caught his breath. "This is relevant, and you were right to bring it to me," she said, her voice light, full, and musical.
"I thought you would be interested, Miss Rose," said the man, running his fingers through his dark blond hair and smiling in relief, before hastening to add, "Although if I had known, I never would have presumed to-'
"Peace," she interrupted, amused, "What's done is done. As long as I am sure that you will speak of it to know one..." She trailed off, raising a single silvery eyebrow.
"Of course not," he hastened to assure her, gratefully.
"Well then," she said, her strange eyes catching his, "You will go to this meeting, Detective, and see what you can discover. It may all come to nothing, but," She smiled a secret smile. "It may not." She turned her attention back to the letter, her expression thoughtful.
After a second, the detective remembered to breathe, and recognized the dismissal for what it was. "It was, as always, a delight to see you, Miss Rose," he murmured, as though afraid of breaking something by speaking too loudly. She didn't respond, nor did she look up when he shut the door behind him.

Fifteen minutes later, the detective jogged up to Madame Sonja's, hoping that they hadn't started without him. It occurred to him that he might be in over his head, but, he thought with the accompanying wave of reverence and disquiet that always accompanied thoughts of his employer, it was far too late to back out now. He knocked.

Detective Lindea glared at this Madame Sonja, for she was quite loud and she didn't like it. She turned her attention once more to the window and stared out it and glanced at the man who just walked in. She grabbed her hat that was in her jacket and put it on her head and her gaze. Giving her a sercertive look. She leaned against the wall and began to hide in the shadows. She looked to Madame Sonja, "Mind if I smoke in here or must I step outside?" Her voice soft and commanding.

After opening the door to let the new detective in captain rozenfeild sat for a cup of tea.
madame sonja quarelled with lindea " Vat does it matter now? No von vill come in here cause ov you.but if you vant to go outside and loose more of my business go staight ahead.." she went again in a huff to the upper part of her store.
Rozenfeild cracked a small smile as her lip grazed the the top of her soothing cup of tea. She looked at Breier.....ohh my this will be more interesting than I thought....

The detective stood just inside the door, feeling a bit overwhelmed. The two detectives present were both women, and the elder of the two looked as though she'd rather not be noticed. He looked at the other and smiled, although the smile didn't quite reach his eyes. "I'm Detective Darren Scott," he said, his voice carefully professional.

He looked the woman over and realized that she was really more of a girl. "Aren't you a bit young to be here?" he asked in clipped tones. This wasn't looking promising. He hated it when Brier Rose was disappointed under any circumstances, and disappointing her when he was the one who had brought the whole thing to her attention was downright dangerous.

" Really am I too young? Is that the way you address your Captain? I have been working for and with major detective agencies all of my life. I have dealt with cases in a level you've never even heard of. I have graduated early from the top schools....." she was still sitting down drinking her tea. "Well Mr.Scott ...it's a pleasure to have you here..." she sipped her tea softly " Im Captain Rozenfeild........ the leader of this mission"

Lindea nodded at the owner of the store and reached into her trench coat's inside pocket grabbing her pack of cigarettes she removed one. Grabbing a box of matchs from another pocket, she lit the cigarette and took a deep breath. Loving the taste of her hand roll cigarettes she looked around and stared at the newest detective. She said in her commanding voice but soft enough it barely sounded like she spoke, her scottish accent hung heavly in the air. "I am Detective Lindea House. You would do well not to anger our Captain. Captain Rozenfeild how much longer must we wait?"

Rozenfeild stood from her seat ad brought her now empty cup to the sink. She turned around spoke to Lindea. " Dispatch said we can head out now...any other informants will join along the way..." she rinsed her hands a bit and dried them. " We'll start here in Lambeth....."

Scott raised his eyebrows, but didn't say anything. Even less promising. Only three detectives?

His train of thought was cut short as sudden, sharp pain blossomed in his chest. He gasped, bringing his hand up reflexively to grasp the spot, but the next second it was gone, leaving him to wonder if it had ever been there at all.

Brier Rose sat in the back seat of an dark, nondescript but expensive car, her face carefully expressionless. After a moment, she checked the delicate silver watch on her left wrist and smiled. Any second now it would start. It was almost a pity, really. He'd been more competent than most of the others she'd hired, but there was nothing for it; she had to know the answer quickly. He'd have the honor of being very useful in death.

Rozenfeild had run several missions by herself before. She never really had a group before. She loaded her guns...which by the way were a bit bigger than normal. She slid the guns into the holster strapped around her chest and slipped her coat on over it. She stepped out side and took a deep breath. " There are several places here in town i want to check out...to get more work done we'll split. There were three cars parked afront the store. She handed each detective a key." Don't loose them, Lindea you can scan the south I heard about a place called 'Cindies' you can get info there" she turned to face the other detective " You can head to the north..check out ' red riding' its a club.....be careful that place is shifty..I'll be heading out on my own.." we'll meet back here in 5 hours...."

Scott took the key with a slight smile. "Yes, m'am," he said, and headed out the door. Despite appearances, he was feeling distinctly irritated. He didn't care if the little girl was a captain, honestly. She wasn't even close to his boss; he was playing in a completely different league. No, scratch that. He was playing a completely different game. It made sense to go down to Red Riding, but it galled him that he seemed to be doing it on her orders.

And why couldn't he use his car?

Lindea smiled wickedly and grabbed the key and put it into one of her many pockets. She walked ouside and hopped on her bike. "See you in 5 hours Captian." She reved her engine of her big bike and headed towards a place called Cindies. She assumed it belonged to Cinderella. She flicked her cigarette leaving it behind as she took off.

Cinderella Scottsfeild stood out side of her store making sure some little pigs didn't get theire muddy tracks inside " Shoo! Shoo!" she said as she shooed the pigs away.

Red Lafonette was in her club cleaning a bit and reagrranging some things. " Ahh c'est magnifique! " there were several dancing poles in the club. It wasnt the most respected place in lambeth but it sure was popular. Many wealthy businessmen..even kings have slumped to Red Riding hoods.

Lindea stopped her bike infront of Cindies. She stepped off and walked to the door. "Madam I am Detective Lindea House. Might I have a few moments of your time?" Her dark eyes staring her down debating in her mind whether this woman is now a supect or just an innocent bestander.
