Romsca smiled a small smile at Jonas' statement. "That's a pretty good way of looking at it. I gather you've had some experience in the game of love yourself? I personally have never shown much of a desire to find a soulmate, but who knows, maybe someday..." He shook his head as though clearing cobwebs from his mind and shrugged. "In any case, I don't think he is in too much trouble there; she seems to be a nice girl and all. No, I worry about something unforseen or unwelcome coming between them. Though I don't remember seeing either of them, I've heard of a pair who love nothing more than roaming about looking for unsuspecting Namrah fresh into adulthood to string them along into false relationships that end in tears and crushed spirits. And I'd sooner break every bone in my body than to see my dear brother fall victim to such heartless fiends. But I shall find him, one way or another." He paused and wondered aloud, "I never thought to ask Nefir.....I wonder if he knows; that little one seems to know far too much for his age...."

"Company can be bothersome at times. However, sometimes it's the only thing keeping you sane." She paused for a moment, thinking. "The same can be said for solitude however," she continued, thinking of two troublesome kits.
Healer's ears twitched when she heard Jonas talk about sadness. "As someone I know would say, 'Happiness is always there for you, too; you just have to look a little harder,'" she replied dryly, turning to Romsca. "This Nefir appears much alike to her; knowing far too much. Tama, however, enjoys showing off her knowledge, while I do not know if Nefir does as well."

'I don't really know the meaning of true solitude." Noah said more to himself than to Healer. The anthro's ears perked a little at the word Happiness. "Happiness?" he questioned. "Happiness is just a figment that others create to cover up the true sadness they hold in themselves..." The anthro haden't felt such a 'figment' in so long.

"I..." Treasure tried to find something to say, tried to pluck at some string in the back of her throat to make something come out, but her voice locked up. She growled inwardly at herself, wishing Chaos were here to make speaking to people a little more easy. Her gaze flickered from one Namir to another, trying to find someone to focus on so she didn't feel so surrounded. Her gaze wound up falling to her sandals once again.

Jonas laughed, "Yes, though nothing successful." He said, "Hehe...was a child, I thought I was in love with another boy." He blushed a bit, "It wasn't one of my prouder moments. It caused a lot of internal conflict, though I suppose I'm fine now." His ears flopped down as he listened to Romsca as the elder explained about the two 'feinds'. "Oooh, I wouldn't want to meet them. Though, I suppose it can't be helped, if thats what they want. We are all intitled to our own feits, goals, and desires." He cocked his head as Healer spoke, "Hehe, thats an awefully bright way to think about things...though, my only experiences with happiness have been entirely false ones. Every time I lost it it filled me with sadness." He sighed, shrugging as he looked up to Noah. He smiled, "I agree with you." He said, happily. "I like to think of it as a floosy lover, and sadness a faithful one. You leave sadness for the much more attractive happiness, who turns out to be a cheater. But, when you're all alone, sadness will welcome you back with open arms, forgiving you for leaving her...or him...whatever." Jonas cocked his head a little, "You what?" He asked, wondering what the rest of Treasure's sentence was. He could tell that she felt somewhat surrounded, so did he. It didn't help to be new and meeting so many new faces at once. Jonas found it intimidating, and, when he saw the female anthro's eyes rest upon her sandals again. He smiled softly, and he hopped down from the rock he was on, joining her by her side, because he knew that being surrounded was much easier when you were surrounded with another being. "You remind me of a seafarer." He randomly said, his voice soft and reassuring. "Do you like the sea?"

Romsca turned and looked at Treasure along with Jonas, though he tried not to stare unabashedly, aware that she was obviously nervous about being among so many strangers. Trying to be polite and put the young one more at ease, he took a shot in the form of a friendly compliment. "Your fur color is lovely."

Healer sighed. Everyone in the impromptu group seemed to be depressed to one degree or another. "She is a kit after all. She will probably lose her bright, shiny outlook on life before too long. A pity."
Noah's words were bothering her. How could someone not know what true solitude was? It was impossible for someone to never be truly alone . . . wasn't it? Abrubtly she remembered Emerald whining - or was it gushing? It was hard to tell sometimes - over a psychology paper she had to do. Healer frowned visibly. Why would I think about that now? She hadn't understood the topic at all . . . something about disassoci . . . something. Emerald tried to explain further by asking a ridiculous question.
"How can a girl be eight, sixteen, and twenty-seven all at the same time?" She muttered, distracted enough that she spoke out loud.

Noah nodded at Jonas's comment on Happiness and Sadness. He had to agree with the other anthro's statement for he had been through such a thin many a times. Slowly, his emotionally cold gaze feel upon the sea green anthro. The one who called herself Treasure if he remembered corretly. Noah could tell she was a shy one at first glance, but made no attempt to try and talk to her. He attention fell upon Healer once again as he raise an eyebrow at her own comment.

Treasure forced something, any sound, preferably a sentence, to come out of her mouth. "Yes," she said, "I love the sea, I wish I knew where it was right now." She blinked, feeling a little removed of herself. Her gaze lifted from her sandals, glancing from Jonas to Romsca and surprisingly staying there for almost ten seconds. She started a little at the compliment from Romsca, her eyes falling quickly to the ground again as she replied, "T-thank you." She looked sideways over to Noah and Healer, wondering what the answer to the question was. Then she looked up again, her eyes widening a little in uncertainty, and smiled shyly at the two Namrah in front of her. "Where do you come from?" she asked, remembering Jonas' strange accent and wondering if Romsca might know where they were at the moment, and attempting to start something maybe resembling a conversation.

Jonas grinned as Romsca complimented her. Usually, Jonas was the shy, quiet one, and he felt obligated to comfort those who were shy or nervous as well. "Ah..." He muttered, "Usually a young one's outlook on life is bright. I think it is because they cannot comprehend how ugly and dark life can be..." He cocked his head a little, "Hmm...perhaps she is sixteen, but acts like an eight year old, but looks like she is twenty-seven?" He shrugged, not really understanding the female's comment. "Or perhaps here she is eight, but in another reality she is sixteen, and in another she is twenty seven?" He laughed a little, "Or is it a trick question? Like; when is zero half of eight?" He sighed as he saw Noah nod. For somereason, it comforted him a little to see someone agree with him. He smiled, "I like the sea too." He said, "It is very...wavy." He sighed, shaking his head, "Ah, and I would point you in the direction of if, my friend, though, I don't happen to know exactly where it is." He swished his tail a bit happily as he heard her question, "I come from a long ways away." He said, "It's very cold there and it has a beautiful landscape. It's an archipelago of very large islands. The town I came from was the capital, and it was full of ports and boats...so I know a lot of the sea..." He smiled, reminicing of his home and wondering how he got here, "Hehe...theres this cute little statue of a mermaid sitting on a rock. Every foreigner that asked me about it would always say, 'wheres that scary, big statue of the mermaid?' though, really, she is barely life size."

"Hmmm......" Romsca cocked his head, showing just a smidgen of the little pup he had been, so long ago it seemed. "Not really sure. I do know we are in a land known as Namiah, so I suppose I could accurately say we're on a mountain in the land of Namiah. Though I wonder if the mountain has a name....then I could say we're on Mount Something-Or-Other instead of just 'A Mountain'........." He suddenly looked startled and laughed out loud. "I'm sorry; I'm starting to sound like my sister; she would question why the sky is blue and if you can paint it yourself." ^^

Healer was startled when she heard Jonas seemingly respond to her thoughts, but quickly realized she must have been thinking aloud. She considered his answer for a moment, then shook her head. "No, Emerald said there was a way for someone to literally be eight, sixteen and twenty-seven at the same time," she smiled. "I thought it was a trick question at first, too." She frowned, remembering the further explanation. "She said that they usually take turns, though, and may not realize the others are there . . . It was too confusing for me."
She thought a bit longer, then slowly continued. "I think she was referring to a problem of some kind. She called it a 'psychological disorder,' but I am not sure what that means precisely." She shrugged. The entire conversation had been puzzling.
"I am not sure where we are, either." When she had left, she had only been concentrating on getting away, although she should be able to find her way back. Eventually.

Noah listened as the silver haired female babbled on. He, in a way, has something similar to what the female was talking about, but it is no disorder; it is more like a curse to him. "I think what this Emerald was talking about is DID, or Dissociative Identity Disorder. I remember my care taker looking it up once. The person bares two or more identities or personalities. It is quite an interesting thing to read about actually, but it must be a burdan to have..." The anthro sighed a bit as he looked up at the sky above.

"Wow, it must have been wonderful to live there," Treasure said wistfully before pausing to ask, "What's a mermaid?" Though her life basically revolved around the sea she had never really met anyone who knew much about it before now and so hadn't heard anything about mermaids. She didn't understand the answer to the psychological question, so she ignored it for now, determined to learn more about it when she found her way back. She looked over to Romsca and thought about the mountain, "It does need a name... Maybe we should give it one?" She pondered a bit more, "What about... The Mountain of Lost Travellers?" She blinked at Romsca's last comment, confused, You can paint the sky? It was more than a little confusing to be listening to more than one person at once; Treasure found her thoughts beginning to scatter a little and she was becoming a little random, I wonder if this is how Chaos handles people? She's always hyper.

"Namiah..." The anthro said softly to himself as Romsca spoke. "So thats where I am...?" He shrugged, never hearing of this place before now. Jonas thought of the question for a little longer, "Oh! What if she has that one thing...dang...what was the name of it...?" His ears perked as Noah spoke and he nodded, "Yeah," He said, "That thing. Though...I've always found it a confusing subject, myself. Though all together facinating!" His tail swooshed about excitably. "Yes," He said to Treasure's comment, "It was great. A little on the cold side, though, but, I suppose that's what one must pay for such beauty. Though, it actually is nice to get away. I was born and raised there, so I think it's beauty could get a little boring. Well...not too boring." He cocked his head slightly, "You don't know what a mermaid is? Oh...well, it's like...half human, and half fish." He said, "They're supposed to be evil, at least in some cultures. They're said to lure saliors to them with their beauty and they're singing. And then when they saloirs get to them, they devour their souls or something..." He shrugged, "I think they're sorta cute though."
