Oh, I finished CC for the second time just now. =] There's a part that I missed that could relate to CC if you think about it. Cloud sends an e-mail to Zack saying towards the end:
"I thought about it a lot, but I decided to show my face. I'm just uneasy about going home, so I hope you will come with me."
First of all, I totally squee'd because it was a Cloud being cute moment, but secondly, looks like Cloud WAS going to show his face. He wasn't going to hide from Tifa and his Mom for the whole time he was there.
So when Cleris fans say things like "Cloud didn't have the guts to show his face, he knew Tifa would think he wasn't good enough blah blah"
WELL IN "UR" face! Cloud was going to show up, he just never got the chance because Sephy burnt everyone. =D

I'm so glad that CC allows you to keep your levels when going through the story again.....
Poor Cloud. sad Stupid Sephy! Picking the wrong time to burn everything down! After CC I became a lot more sympathetic towards Sephy, though....
*Sighs* It's one of those "what ifs" now. What if Cloud got the chance to show his face to Tifa? For one, it'd be the reunion Tifa was waiting for, that's for sure.

Sure, they probably knew something was up between those threee, but once Cloud and Tifa became almost instantly closer after the lifestream and after him becoming his true self, I'm sure they got the idea. They probably to this day don't understand Zack and Aeris all that well, but they know Cloud and Tifa are together, and they are happy. All that you really need to know when it comes to a friend's relationship.

I don't really like FFVII Sephy. I've always imagined what "sane Sephy" would be like, and CC displayed the perfect idea that I had. XD Sephiroth is one of my favorite characters--- when he's not insane. When he turned evil, I just thought he became a boring drone. (no offense to Sephy fans) But in the past, he was just so amazing. x3 To think, someone could have stopped him from going completely psycho if they hadn't left him in the research lab for seven days reading about Jenova, who he had been told was his Mom. rolleyes Again, I blame Hojo and Hollander. (I'm so glad I got to kick Hollanders a**. He pissed me off.)
Of course, Genesis helped brainwash Sephiroth too. So, grr. Poor Seph. I always felt bad for him, even in FFVII when I didn't know his entire past.

True to that. biggrin It's kind of hard for them not to think that something was going on between Cloud and Tifa after the Lifestream. I'm sure they were aware of the triangle since they were most sympathetic to Tifa throughout the whole game.
I hated FFVII Sephy too! His personality just seemed so dull to me and he wasn't THAT evil. I love sane Sephy....he's so amazing and he looks hot in CC too, lol. (He looks ugly when he's evil.) xd The guy even has compassion, he smiles, chuckles, teases, and likes to show-off, all the while maintaining his cool exterior. Yeah, even CC doesn't show that much of his past...beside the fact that he is friends with Genesis and Angeal and uses special shampoo and conditioning with many different fragrances for his hair. xd

Sephy's nose gets so GIANT when he turns evil in CC, LOL! I wonder if that's a side effect of insanity or something... x3

Indeed. Tifa's smile shows that she understands what he's really saying; that he'll be coming back to them and that he's threw with running away. XD
