Poem to the Fifth DoctorHe knows how good it is to take a break
after a long, hard, stressful sort of day,
even if a breather he cannot take.
In the end, things are hopefully okay,
but things do not always turn out so well -
praying for time and another thing to try.
Guilt and sadness make for a lonely hell,
which, when brought up, gives him reason to cry,
but, well, life must always go on, you see,
and he doesn't give up that easily.
His sweetness, alien humanity,
perseverance, seem beautiful to me.
