But she had been going too fast. She skidded to a halt as she saw the other Eevee passing by in her peripheral vision, knowing that the speed at which she had been going prevented her from keeping her eyes on the target Pokemon. Unexpectedly, she giggled. This laughter was at herself, as she had been getting too eager.
Allene didn't brace herself this time, but was ready to spring out of the way of Kamau if he rushed forward. It wasn't sure, of course, that this would even do any good...

Kamau grinned at the Allene, impressed at her speed. Before he lost his focus, he decided to give it another quick shot at his headbut attack, and he did the same as he did before, except only this time watching his step more and paying more attention to his target. yet, he didn't want to hurt her that much, in a way that he couldn't quite make-out yet.

His desire became true, as he wasn't paying any attention to his target anymore, as he thought of her in his head. He shook his head, trying to get rid of the thoughts he didn't fully understand yet about this new Eevee that he had just met, and at the last second looked up to see that he was about to crash into a tree. Just in time, hye swerved around it, but he lost his footing as it happened and fell on hi side, getting dirt in is open cuts.

Allene made a hissing sound through her teeth, knowing that getting dirt into those wounds probably stung. She would see if she could help him with it later... That is, if she would be able to after the battle. There was always the chance that she would get knocked out.
She reared up and started going forward in almost a trot, gave a short jump, and quickly launched a Swift attack at Kamau. After landing gracefully, she watched the stars fly, her breath held as she wondered if it would hit....
((*pokes the last three moves* Mya! It's a missing streak! XD))

Allene's heart jumped as the majority of the stars made contact with the other Eevee. The attack began kicking up a little more dirt as one or two of them hit the ground instead, and so she couldn't really make out the results very well. She immediately squinted her eyes in an attempt to see if Kamau was alright, or if he had gotten hurt badly...

Kamau had goten hit with a few of the stars. It hurt a little, since most of them re-opened some of the cuts that had just stopped bleeding. But other than that, he was fine. Being his first battle.....well, nothing really xp xd .
He fell low to the ground, and ran at his opponent, his belly and chest fur scraping against the ground with every stride, as he attempted to preform a bite attack on her side.

Kamau closed his eyes when he got close enough, and rammed his muzzle into her fur, a little nervous about really hurting her. Instictively, and because of the move he was using, he snaped at her with is very sharp teeth, poking at her flesh and feeling herfur and some skin on his tounge.
Pleeeeeease tell me she's fine.... he thought to himself. Some feeling inside him that he never felt before resurfaced yet again and seemed to scream at him to stop.

Allene took the blow calmly and without a yelp, but quickly checked her bleeding wound as she tore away from Kamau. It wasn't that bad, but it would need tending to later none the less.
She smiled and laughed, "This is fun, Kamau!" She failed to sense any worry in him, and was viewing all of this as just another game. A dangerous and slightly barbaric game, but a fun one.
With a sudden burst of speed, Allene casted aside the nagging pain of her injury and rushed towards Kamau in a Headbutt.

Allene tripped, however, and landed on her side just short ov Kamau. Instead of standing, the female merely pressed her paws harder against the ground.
"Whoops," she chuckled quietly as she braced herself for the hit that she knew was coming.

((Sorry I haven't been posting! I've been extremely bust lately........))

Kamau braced himself for her attack that would surely finish him off. For the smae reason he had strange feelings for this Eevee, those feelings seemed to be breaking on the inside.
"Yeah, it is." he managed to say to her. The words almost got caught in his throat as they sliped by. He wasn't too sure what to think of this female anymore. His even newer feelings were covering his previous ones, and they hurt his insides.
He managed to try and get over those feelings, as he concentrated on the sky and breathed in deeply, shooting repleca stars (the move swift) at her. He didn't want to watch, so he concentrated and kept his eyes closed.

Allene had been squinting her eyes while bracing herself for the attack. At the very moment she heard the stars landing somewhere besides her fur, she decided to launch her own Swift. Even as the stars began to fly, however, she noticed that Kamau looked sort of... Off. Was he upset about something? Allene's ears burned, and a little frown appeared on that pink snout as she wondered if she had done something wrong...
(( That's fine. It's kind of easy to forget about the battle dome sometimes. *sometimes guilty of that* ninja
