Favorite bands: As far as Scandinavian metal is concerned? I love Ensiferum, and Norther. Equilibrium is good too. And Wolfchant.
I'm a bit new to the genre, but Viking's giant ******** playlist helped.
Aside from Scandinavian Metal, I love Power Metal, Symphonic Metal, Thrash, and Smooth Jazz.
