If you were REALLY sorry, then you wouldn't be using your mule accounts to continue to flame me and this Guild. And if those people are truly NOT you, and yet are still somehow just joined today and have you as their friend -coughcough-, then tell your rabid friends to lay off. Seriously, I am sick of this immature filth flooding the Guild.
I mean, if you enjoy showing off your stupidity, be my guest. We're all just laughing at you anyway. :/

Oh yeah and why I like CeeTee.
To put it simply, Cleris doesn't make sense to me. Relationships aren't nothing but happy fluffy bunnies and kitty cats. If you don't have the power to help one another through personal conflicts... then thats a bs relationship.
I dont think Cloud and Aeris could help eachother through EMOTIONAL conflicts. Aeris is a good support, but she doesnt help Cloud delve into his emotions like Tifa does.
And Im really sick of people saying Tifa doesnt accept Cloud for who he is, because she was upset that Cloud wasnt different in COT.
Seriously, thats like saying my girlfriends a rapist but Im not going to change her because I love her for who she is, lol.
Clouds acting like an over-grown baby. Tifa has the right to be a little upset. it doesnt change the fact that she loves him.

Wow, you've already took most of the reasons out of my head. xD But I guess I'll just add some of my own reasons as well.. ahem, well I see Cloud and Tifa as a developing love.
Point 1. Childhood and the Promise - Tifa and Cloud weren't very close but Cloud liked her. Tifa is well-liked in her village. Boys pick on Cloud because they don't like him hanging out with her. But why else would he see her before he left to join SOLDIER? He waited out in the cold for her and didn't even expect her to show up. And when he did show up, Tifa made him promise to save her if she was ever in trouble.
To Tifa, Cloud isn't totally a stranger. Because WHY would she be willing to meet with him after dark? Even if they weren't close and her father didn't want him being around her, Tifa went to see him anyway. Generally, everyone was trying to push Cloud of out Tifa's perfect picture but she still reached out to him. Not because of pity but there's a chance she feels the same way about him.
Point 2.The Fires in Nibelheim. So Cloud didn't make it to the cut and failed to make it in SOLDIER as he promised Tifa. He could have gone home but he decided to stay as a regular cadet in the Shinra army instead. It was way better than having to face Tifa with the failure. So he made up that whole thing in Kalm just so the story would relate to his but even while he was telling the story Tifa wasn't quite sure of it herself but she had no reason not to believe in it because she couldn't remember about it much since the incident.
Even if they did meet in Nibelheim, Cloud hid away from Tifa and ignored her even as she was the guide to the Nibel Reactor. He acted coldly towards her and hoped she didn't notice it was him. When Sephiroth had cut her with a sword, Zack had been the one who put Tifa's body aside before he launched an attack at Sephiroth and didn't last a chance. When Sephiroth went into the Jenova room, Cloud took Tifa's body and placed it somewhere more comfortably. She had said something in the lines of 'you didn't protect me.'
This is where Cloud failed to hold his promise to Tifa. He didn't become SOLDIER, and he wasn't there when she was in trouble. But he had tried to raise his sword against Sephiroth in a rage when it happened, not just for Tifa, but his village as well.
Point 3.Reunion at Midgar. After the incident, Tifa had somehow found Cloud and since she believed he was in SOLDIER, asked him to help their resistance group, AVALANCHE. -This is where the game begins- After their first job, Barret had joked to Cloud about, "Returning home to his girl." or something along the lines. (dammit I want to play the game so I can follow the actual script.. argghh..)
And so Tifa is grateful that Cloud really did come out of his way to help them out. Even reminding them of the promise they made when they were kids and thus convincing Cloud to help them out further. From remembering something like a childish promise made to each other by kids, it means she has been hanging onto that promise for a long while now. Even if there was "Johnny" in the picture sometime in Tifa's history, Cloud's promise still stayed with her in her memory. So my theory that she kind of liked him too while they were kids, supports this.. in a way..
(I seriously have too much time in my hands.. sigh..)
Point 4.Enter Aeris. Tifa and Aeris didn't exactly like each other in the beginning. It's a fact. The moment they met each other it was like, "Oh you're the girl Cloud was with." "Is that your girlfriend?" Phew, getting territorial now.. Tifa's more jealous side is shown through Aeris' appearance. Even when they are locked in the Shinra Tower, upon Aeris' reaction when she found out Cloud and Tifa shared a cell, made Tifa come out of her usually calm and composed self.
But eventually they learn to cooperate as they travel together although one can only follow as what choices the player makes in the game.
Tifa and Aeris had their own perception of who Cloud was. The real Cloud, was the insecure boy who was wrapped up in Zack's story and personality to make it his so he wouldn't come off as the sorry loser who didn't make it to SOLDIER to disappoint Tifa. Why would he make that whole story up in the first place? Nobody else except Tifa knew he went to join SOLDIER. Nobody else except Tifa knew about the promise. If he didn't make it to SOLDIER, he could have just returned home like the others who failed but he didn't. Why? Because he couldn't let Tifa know the truth.
And while that was true, Cloud was also clearly confused as the Shinra had experimented on both him and Zack. There were times in the game where it sounded like Cloud was talking to himself but that was, and I believe is really Zack talking to him through the Lifestream. God knows what the Shinra scientists and their extent of Mako experiments did to the two...
Point 5.Aeris' Death. When Aeris died, Cloud was a mess. He didn't know himself and eventually while everyone lost hope in him, Tifa was the only one who refused to give up on him. Even at that time when he was wheelchaired and was basically a living body with a dead mind.. she continued to believe in him that he could get through this and get his gear in shape so they could kick some Sephiroth butt.
Point 6.The Lifestream.Through some means, I can't believe I forgot as to what.. (Damn I need that game again.. essay writing getting rusty..) she was able to enter Cloud's mind. She came to know the whole truth about Cloud's lies, the deception, the lost confused child who had no confidence in himself and had Sephiroth as an idol in hopes he can become someone with the same strength some day.
She was able to see all his bad points, she was able to see through the lies, she was able to uncover the truth but did she turn him away? Did she leave him to curl up in shame for all the bs he had conjured up just to keep his story? No, she welcomed him with open arms, told him that she didn't care if he was in SOLDIER or whatever. She only cared about Cloud Strife. Other titles were not necessary for her to love him.
Point 7.The Day before Battle Yes, the Highwind scene. I can't help it if I'm going to bring it up after many users have already but I love that scene. Tifa and Cloud just sitting there with Tifa just enjoying being close to him. It's so simple, and yet.. just for her to hold him to be close to him, it was enough for her even if it could be the last day of their lives.
Point 8. You kept your promise. Of course, the last CG of the game when Cloud rescues Tifa before she falls off the cliff. How can I not love this scene where she just rests her head on his chest contentedly as he hauls them both up. <3 No other explanation necessary.
Point 9.Kingdom of Hearts 1 & 2. Cloud's Light. This part, I got from that site. http://tifa.nu/tifa/
In the first KH, Cloud tells Sora and party that he's looking for his "light". Now, most people would just jump at the idea that Aeris is the light but that's not so. When Cloud and Aeris encountered each other in KH, she just looked at him for a bit then moved away. There wasn't a hint of Cloud even responding that she was the light.
Now, wait.. let me continue to KH2. Here, Tifa and Cloud are in their Advent clothes <3 We see Cloud saying darkness is trying to get him, we should know by know that the darkness is Sephiroth by now. And he's still looking for his "light".. and after the scene when Sora defeats Sephiroth a scene will commence between Cloud and Sephy. Where Tifa tells Cloud, "Cloud, you can have my light!" Sephiroth tells him that the light doesn't suit him and Cloud becomes unsure of himself.
According to interviews with Nomura and Nojima, he states that..

I was talking with Tetsu about what Cloud could be doing in Hallow Bastion, and we eventually moved towards him chasing after Sephiroth, but also being chased by something himself. So Cloud's really running from something but goes around pretending, saying that he's chasing Sephiroth. Then we decided to make it him running from the "something warm" like what Tifa was after in AC.
Point 10. Advent Children Yes, I am rather happy that they reduced her "asset" size to a more moderate.. uh.. size. But other than that, AC clearly shows the aftermath of Sephiroth. While Cloud is still in his grief stage, and decides he himself can't be granted happiness because he didn't do anything to save one of his friends and is still guilty about the whole thing, he works as a delivery man and keeps away from Tifa and the orphan kids most of the time.
He is intentionally distancing himself with his friends, only keeping in contact with them via cellphone. (which I want to steal by the way.. ok ok back on topic..) He hasn't forgiven himself and is staying away from warmth, staying away from any feelings of being a family because he feels he doesn't deserve to be happy! At least that's what I believe.
All throughout the movie, Tifa has a small "family" which consisted of Denzel, Marlene and Cloud. Denzel, who always looked up to Cloud almost like a son to his father, clearly admired him but also listens to Tifa and cares for her as any child would to a mother, especially when he would even go against Bahamut in attempts to protect his mother, which Barret said for him anyway.
Notice, how Denzel and Cloud despite the odds of them winning against a beast/almost-god-like SOLDIER, they'd go up against all odds to protect what was close to them. Dunno, it's not really relevant in why I like CloTi, I don't even believe in the reports that Denzel is.. uh.. their love child.. which can't be true because this happened only a few years and Denzel's like 10. So it can't be 10 years after the incident.. I just wanted to say it because I thought that similar trait they have is well, endearing.. o_o
ANYWAY.. moving on..
Tifa, as always, supported Cloud till the end. Despite he wasn't sure of himself, despite his grief, she kept up her optimistic attitude and I believe even tries her best not to let other people worry about her and she finally voiced out her own feelings to Cloud when she said, "It's because we're not a 'real' family, huh?"
Aeris appears randomly here, mostly trying to tell Cloud not to worry about what had happened and that he should look forward instead of grieving for the past. Cloud eventually learns to forgive himself and with the help of his friends, prevent Kadaj, Yazoo, and Loz from taking over the Planet.
And so, dear CloTi fans and plain FFVII fans, this is the reason as to why I am a CloTi supporter.
...It took me 2 whole hours to write this..review, edit, then read.. x____X I would probably write more in the AC part but I've got to watch that movie again and I'm getting sleepy..

Everything you just said is brilliant and almost exactly how I feel. I've been arguing with too many Cleris... so I really needed that. XP
I like Cloti because it's obvious. It's just so simple. And I also do like how Cloud may be motivated by Tifa, but his entire existence isn't based on her, and in that way, I feel it's the more realistic of the pairings. XD

i like cloud tifa because, aerith is dead sad and you can have feelings for the dead but they can't come back and give you the kind of love you need. she's up there in heaven with zack now.
i don't think aerith wanted cloud to mourn over her all his life, that'd be a waste don't you think? it's the only other option available, be with tifa... or go necro eek

I love the combination because they're just made for each other. Cloud is so insecure and Tifa has always been there to help him, yet he's so dense and just sits there with drool coming out of his mouth not realizing that she's in love with him scream .... Sorry. What I'm saying is that I love it because it's so innocent and sweet. It's not an infatuation or anything of the sort. It's actually TRUE love. And I like that smile
